An experience of high quality from start to finish. Having visited a number of show-rooms in…read moreseveral states on my piano search, I feel that Falcetti's provided excellent service that I cannot help but recommend to others. Here is why. *Pre-Purchase* The instruments in Falcetti Pianos showroom are in consistently excellent regulation, voicing and tuning (this consistency is not present in other showrooms I visited in various states). Making an appointment was easy and once there I was able to take my time with the instruments, alone in the showroom. On his own initiative, Conner even turned off the AC to create a listening environment to get to know each instrument's nuance. The opportunity to really LISTEN this way is itself worth the price of entry. I found the staff at Falcettis to be more like resources and less like sales-people: they gave me generous time and space to get to know the instruments without any sort of pressure. When I had questions, Conner and Jake were quite knowledgeable, and I feel I learned from them. *Purchase* When I found a pre-owned instrument with which I feel in love, I was offered the opportunity to place a fully refundable deposit to hold the instrument while I visited other showrooms and played other pianos. Again, no pressure. Once I was certain that this instrument was for me, Conner was extremely helpful not just in arranging the purchase but also in helping me source an artist bench at an incredible price, arranging to move my current instrument at no additional cost and arranging a tech to come and re-install a Dampp-Chaser humidity system (that we use as a sort of humidity insurance along with ambient humidification) at no additional cost. At each turn, I was met with generosity and a helpfulness that turned what could easily have become a cumbersome, complex process with many moving parts into something that was, simply, easy. *Move* The moving team communicated in a timely way, was timely (they completed their work ahead of schedule) and, again, made the entire operation easy. Omar, Falcetti's tech who came to reinstall the humidity system on the new instrument was excellent. Timely, did excellent work. A pleasure to work with him. Overall: I am so happy, and thankful, to start what I am certain will be a long-term relationship with Falcetti Pianos.

Roger is extremely knowledgeable, has a great skill with action work and the pianos feel good. His wife, Carol, is an experienced pianist who can help evaluate a buyer's needs and she is great with people. Don't miss this showroom if you are in New England and need a quality instrument. There are two locations- one in Burlington, MA as well as Natick. The range of choices is excellent. As a music educator of pianists and singers of all ages and levels, a pro player myself and producer I was very impressed with the inventory and service. I look forward to future visits.

He encouraged me to try every piano, as I was eager to do, and I surprised myself when I fell for the gently used Estonia (a brand with which I had very little experience). He explained the nuances of each instrument and answered all of my questions before I made my decision. An easy sell! Delivery was great (I forget who they used but it was flawless) and Roger spent time at our house tuning it - perfectly. Alas, we ended up deciding to move back to the west coast, but first to a small rental that would not accommodate a grand piano, and we were faced with the prospect of having to sell or store the piano for an undetermined amount of time. Roger's partner, Carol, convinced us not to sell (which we really didn't want to do, anyway) and helped us move the piano into storage. Thankfully, we found our forever home, and ten months since leaving the northeast we have our Estonia back! Roger and Carol, thank you for helping us find the right piano and for assisting with the storage and move. And for your patience with me! An easy recommendation.

East Cambridge Piano - James Nicoloro Owner

An electric piano we use for our church services had a key that started sticking. East Cambridge…read morewas the second place I called, recommended by another shop who didn't really want to look at it. I almost tried to take it apart myself after watching YouTube videos that said it's usually just dust inside, but I'm really glad I didn't. James knew immediately what the problem was just by looking at the keyboard before taking it apart (he could see a slightly bigger gap between that key and the next; something I couldn't see even when he pointed it out). He took it apart and showed me a crack in the key in question. He replaced the key while I waited and it was good as new. It was a very reasonable price as well. He also met me downstairs at the loading dock with a cart and we rode up on the freight elevator. I now have a go-to place if we ever need another repair. Incidentally, he said he sometimes gets people who bring him a box of parts because they took their piano apart after watching YouTube but couldn't fix it or put it back together. James said the problem is hardly ever dust.

He kept up with me in email even when he was out of town on business. When I asked what "professionally refurbished" meant, he sent me the website of the refurbisher so I could see the process. So I made the trek from the Cape into Somerville. When you arrive in the showroom, you know that you are in a place where someone knows and cares about pianos. James offered me lots of options, including some pianos that were less expensive. There is no hard sell. I found the piano I had dreamed about. And James gave me a ride back to the subway station. What service! Michael Griffin, recommended by James, brought the piano this morning. It sounds wonderful. James called to make sure all was well. I could not recommend this business more highly. It has been a great experience.

I chatted on the phone with Elena to schedule a time for one of their tuners to come by my apartment. She was very helpful & pleasant, finding a time that worked for both of us. She followed up twice before the appointment - once to confirm, & another time to clarify on the parking situation after the big snow storm. Mike, the tuner, arrived exactly on time. He saw my spinet piano & let out a big sigh, informing me that this may be more difficult than we anticipated. We discussed my goals - I was hoping to return to standard tuning. He got to work on my stubborn, old piano, doing his very best to gentle tweak it back to normal. He did a wonderful job, considering the state of my piano. He honestly reported to me that he couldn't get to fine-tuning it yet, so he didn't charge me full price. I was so grateful for his effort & honesty. I will definitely be returning to Avery for all my piano needs, whether coordinating another tune with Mike or purchasing a new piano.
