We had a rock chip in my wife's Subaru so I immediately looked for a repair company - preferably mobile. Saw Mark's positive rankings - everywhere - and quickly determined he was the guy for us. I called and he came out the next morning. The windshield was covered in condensation. He explained that to dry it for a successful repair required heating the windshield to a high temp to remove all humidity. I instantly had visions of the heat cracking the windshield and that is exactly what he explained next.
