Jesse and Dusty came out and diagnosed the issues with my old unit and changed their schedules so that they could get a new unit installed a few days later. Dusty and Jesse arrived at 8 a.m. and had my brand new system installed within a couple of hours. Among the problems discovered in my old air conditioner were evaporator coils that were very poor shape as was the metal tray that the coils rest on which was very close to leaking into my newer furnace. My old unit uses the old Freon which has become very expensive, it also needed a new fan motor and other parts. The professionalism that the gentlemen displayed was amazing and my new Lennox A/C unit is whisper quiet and cooled my house down in a matter of minutes. I could not be happier with the service and professionalism that I experienced. I know that they are extremely busy and getting my new unit installed in such a timely manner is greatly appreciated. Long story short. I was blown away when I received the bill for almost $700. We were charge 4.75 hours to repair four ceiling vents. Since we live across the street from this home I checked our security cameras to see just how long the tech was there. The tech came and went a couple of times and then called me to say they had to wait for a part to come in to finish the last vent. Our cameras recorded the tech at the home for a grand total of just about two hours. I called and spoke with Isabel who confirmed I was close to the actual tracking time they had done the tech at the home (based on an app). She said she would double check with the tech and get back to me. After a few days she confirmed the hours were correct - 4.75. Buyer beware. I expected this to be a few hundred dollars at most. I understand there should be time for a trip charge. But 2.75 hours at $95 an hour when the shop and supplier are perhaps 20 minutes from the home? Come on. By the way. When the tech finally returned with the needed parts for the last vent, our security camera recorded him being there ten minutes. I cannot recommend this company's services.

I was curious, as the first technician was unable to complete the work and the owner ended up coming out to finish the job. Total cost was in the $600 range. Ultimately, the fix did not fix our problem. I still had heat at all times. I called Rivers Edge after hours to ask if it would be bad for the system to just turn it completely on & off until it could be fixed.
