Jesse and Dusty came out and diagnosed the issues with my old unit and changed their schedules so that they could get a new unit installed a few days later. Dusty and Jesse arrived at 8 a.m. and had my brand new system installed within a couple of hours. Among the problems discovered in my old air conditioner were evaporator coils that were very poor shape as was the metal tray that the coils rest on which was very close to leaking into my newer furnace. My old unit uses the old Freon which has become very expensive, it also needed a new fan motor and other parts. The professionalism that the gentlemen displayed was amazing and my new Lennox A/C unit is whisper quiet and cooled my house down in a matter of minutes. I could not be happier with the service and professionalism that I experienced. I know that they are extremely busy and getting my new unit installed in such a timely manner is greatly appreciated. They…read morereplaced a zone valve and thermostat (I asked for a programmable model, and if possible to connect it to our air conditioning we have two separate thermostats. I was not home when they completed the work, but got neither request. Not sure if they ignored request to include the A/C, or if it can't be done, since the other request was also not done. The invoice I received from them came in via email and was actually just a receipt. The price we paid was included but no breakdown of parts/labor/travel. I was curious, as the first technician was unable to complete the work and the owner ended up coming out to finish the job. Total cost was in the $600 range. Ultimately, the fix did not fix our problem. I still had heat at all times. I called Rivers Edge after hours to ask if it would be bad for the system to just turn it completely on & off until it could be fixed. The owner told me he would have to check on that and get back to me. I've never heard from him again.

Think twice! Before hiring this company, I called them to inquire about their pricing. All I was…read moretold was the plumber hourly rate, which seemed reasonable, so I booked their services. I don't have anything negative to say about the plumbers work aside from his refusal to tell me how much it was going to cost. That was a red flag to me. My experience changed when the bill arrived in the mail several days later. I was charged for more time than the plumber spent at my house, a gas mileage fee, and ridiculously high prices on the parts that the plumber needed for the repairs. The plumber needed to leave at some point to get specific parts from a store and when he returned, I asked him how much were the parts and he had no answer. After receiving the very high bill in the mail, I immediately called them to inquire why it was so high because I took photos of the parts required and had them priced and it was significantly lower. The person on the phone was Dan, the plumbing supervisor, who was incredibly rude to me on the phone. He explained that the customer does not pay the price that the parts cost from the store, the customer pays their company's up charged new price on the parts. So, be aware that not only do you get charged gas mileage for in town services (which is ridiculous) you also pay a huge markup on the parts that they buy for much cheaper probably at Menards where they can also claim the healthy rebate. I can see that I am not the only customer who has been angered by their high billing prices and surprising extra fees that they do NOT disclose upfront. Save yourself the trouble and the money and DO NOT hire from this company. Though the plumbers who actually do the work for them may be just fine, they are dishonest and not trustworthy about their billing and customer service is extremely poor. I would rate at zero stars if I could.
