Yes I know I shave my head so it is clearly obvious I am not in for a hair cut or a trim. Why am I reviewing this then you ask? I came in here for a trim, seeing I let my beard get all crazy . If you check out the before pictures you'll see what I am talking about, yea that's what you call "Wolf Man" right there people. As you can see from the after result I look more civilized, a refreshing feel and look is how I felt. I also enjoyed my experience at Joe's , where Kevin (the man you want to see) kept me entertained. Kevin was my barber when I came in, and I can tell you my friends he knows what he is doing. A true professional that can handle a trimmer while keeping you entertained from sports talk to hidden stock tips down to how much we both appreciate Southern California weather. What else can you ask for? A tradition that has been passed down, is rare to find now a days. It literally is not easy to find a barber that will do trimming down to a clean shave, it is almost a lost art I'd say. This era everyone is doing everything but holding on to traditions. Joe's Modern holds onto that and its values. I am happy to have found out about this location, I'm satisfied and enthused to say I am and will be a permanent customer at Joe's. I might even let my hair grow back in again just to get a cut.

If you are looking for a good old fashioned (meant in the deepest of compliments) barber, I have a recommendation for you. While I'm not overly picky with my hair, I am blessed to have a rather thick head of it. When it gets long, let's say a month after a cut, it also gets a bit wavy. These qualities are great to have, but can make a barber's life a bit tougher. No worries for the Modern Barber Shop. Service is friendly and will take the time to get to know you and what type of cut you are looking for. They also won't rush you out the door should you want to have 'just a little more' taken off the side or if you just want to finish your story. I enjoyed the social aspect as much as the cut.
