I showed her a couple pictures and she said it would be no problem with my curly hair. Tara cut off a good amount of hair and then to my surprise she straightened it. I never ever straighten my hair. It's a very nice cut and she styled it beautifully. I told her I would never straighten my hair myself and she said it would be just as nice curly (and much easier). She was right. This isnt like a franchise where you have to guess from week to week who is going to be cutting your hair. Here, you form relationships with your people. They are kind, and in styling, washing and cutting your hair, they give it the personal touch. Want your beard or moustache trimmed? that's no extra cost. Our family has come here for years. I have little difficulty giving a larger than average tip here--because it is always well earned. For men, the rates are quite reasonable--$22 for a wash, cut styling, and getting my beard and moustache trimmed. But i normally tip $8 on top of that so its an even $30. They do great work here. I only wish all businesses were this well run.
