Shame on me, Tom gave me a bad haircut twice. The first time it was cut unevenly and considerably shorter than usual. I let it grow out a bit, since he has cut my hair well in the past. Last time (and THE last time I will ever come here) he completely wrecked my hairline. Tried to salvage it, but my only option now is to buzz my hair with a #1. Definitely would not recommend coming here for anything but a fade. And if you're getting a fade, specify that you don't want any messing with your hairline. Thought it was a given! Need to improve customer service. Confirm if appointments are needed upon entry. Upon arrival at 6 pm got a nod to take a seat. Two people in chairs one waiting. After waiting 20 minutes was asked if I had an appointment. I said no. The two barbers then discussed their personal obligations for family and different schedules. The one barber then asked me if I wanted to come back tomorrow. I indicated I needed a haircut today and I wish they had asked me 15 minutes earlier if I had an appointment when I arrived. Then one barber started to get excited because of my request and accused me of ignoring them. I said I'm not here to argue I only want a haircut. read more

Wish I could give a more thorough review of this place, but unfortunately no one was there for me to review. Twelve in the afternoon on a Monday -- even after making an appointment -- no barber in sight. Sat in my car for 45 mins, still nothing. Watched another gentleman & his son wait outside for 30 mins, also nothing. Five minutes before my scheduled appointment I get a phone call from the owner (I'm assuming, he never introduced himself) who informs me it's his day off and that, "His barber isn't picking up." These guys are pros. The Decor, atmosphere and comfort is a little lacking but the quality of the cut and the value that you get for the price carries over the top. Due to recent special events, I found this gem nearby home to test out and I have to agree with all of the yelpers with 5 star reviews. Tom will cut it exactly how you describe it. I have never written a review online for anything before, but Tom is so awesome, I felt that I needed to. Tom has been cutting my hair for over a year and a half at this point. Great guy, easy to talk to, fair prices, knows what he is doing, gives great hair cuts. I have been places before that you tell them what you want, and they tell you that's not what you want, or they just don't follow instructions well. Took my son who is biracial there a few weeks ago and Tom (first chair) did an AMAZING job! I was worried because of his hair type that it would be a problem but it wasnt! Booked an appointment Saturday through the app and it wouldn't let you pick the barber. I saw Tom so I wasn't worried. Sent my husband this time. What a disappointment!!! Tommy (last chair) cut my son's hair and RUINED it completely! Pushed his hairline back, took it in two inches on his points and hacked away at the back leaving a horrible fade! Did I mention the hair line isnt straight!!! My husband did complain, Tommy did apologize and he wasn't charged. I'm super pissed, Monday is my son's school pictures and we have a wedding that my son is in next Saturday! To make matters worse Tom THE OWNER watched all this unfold and didn't bother to offer to fix it! He let an unsatisfied customer walk out of his shop and my son in tears. What a difference from the first time. The least he could of done was offer to fix it the best he could considering he cut it first and he knew what was expected! Horrible experience! read more
