My favorite barbershop. I go out of my way to get my haircut here. This location is a bit less busy than their sister store on Baltimore Pike in Springfield. Friendly barbers who don't waste your time and you're out of here fast. Plus it's only $8 for a simple cut. Cheaper than the big chains and you're giving your $$$ to a local business. I have only been once so far, so I'm hoping my review holds up, but I was immediately impressed at the value here. Obviously, the price is unbeatable at $8 (plus tip), but what was best was that they didn't need clippers -- just scissors. For my next cut, I'll request less water spritz, but that's a relatively minor issue. As a professional, I'm not interested in trendy styles, and the stylist treated me right. And at this price, I won't mind going back for a quickie before that important trip or meeting. For folks at the airport or staying in the area who just need a touch up, the shop is 2 minutes off of I-95 and 10 minutes from the airport. Do a decent job at haircuts and I have gone there for years, but every once and a while they seem to disappoint. I went there this previous time, and I asked for a 1 on the sides and trim on the top as I always do and they do it normally. I was expecting the average fade on both sides and them to trim and ask my preference. This time though, I asked for that, and next thing i look up and ONE SIDE OF MY HEAD IS SHAVED, and the other is faded. This is not going away for a while now, i am going to have to wait a month or more to have it actually food again because they practically shaved up to the top of my head. One side on the very edge of the top of my head I have long hair and on the other I have shaved hair. Once again they give decent haircuts and I have never had anything like this before, but they obviously don't care enough about your life to make sure it's what you want before they go shedding off inches of your hair that you actually want. Make sure if you ever go here you are very specific about what you say. Some cutters will disappoint, others will amaze you. Just gotta pick the right one. read more

I just moved into the area didn't come from very far away or anything but needed a new barber for myself and my teenage son and my younger son as well . Tried a bunch of places and had no luck until I found cutters corner . I got cut by the older women and didn't like the results she rushed also she was very cold with my young son and when I didn't like something one time she acted like I was inconvenience to her so whatever I figured maybe she was having a bad day whatever so next time me and my youngest son got Jess she did a great job she was great with my son who was being horrible he wouldn't sit still but she was patient and both cuts came out great and I've been going to her ever since she always says hi to everyone she remembers names she talks to you unlike the older women . Now today I go in to see Jess she isn't there and there is a new lady who was so rude strait up ignored my questions did a shit job on my head and then when I asked her name she would not give it to me? What the hell yea I guess if Jess is gone we will be finding a new barber shop and that sucks when I got home I told my teenage son and he was more mad then me he loves how she cuts his hair we don't even have to say anything anymore she just knew how we liked it done. I hope she comes back or isn't gone for good .hope everything's OK with her and if her bosses check these things Jess was the best barber you had you are dumb if you let her leave. And this new mystery lady who is working Jesss spot now she's is rude cold and can't cut hair . My 6 year old twins recently had their hair cut by Deb. Deb gave one of my boys not only a bald spot in the back of his head but also cut his neck in several places which became infected. After having him examined by the pediatrician, we were told that the infection was actually ringworm likely developed from using dirty clippers. My husband contacted Kathy, the owner just to let them know of the issue, but she was combative and refused to acknowledge that this occurred in her salon even though we provided pictures. We did not try to gain anything by reporting this but just wanted the owner to acknowledge this occurred and review their cleanliness procedures so no one else would be affected. The owner was very unprofessional with handling this matter and even suggested that my son may have had a bald spot prior to coming into the salon. After we assured her this was not the case she told my husband that she would check the surveillance video... and then conveniently told us that her husband couldn't figure out how to do it. I have never posted a negative review for a business and have waited several weeks before writing this hoping that Kathy, the owner would finally make the effort of reviewing the surveillance video and acknowledge my son left the salon with a big bald spot and several cuts on his neck. Although the price is ridiculously cheap, the haircut is anything but. I cannot tell you how many compliments I receive regarding my haircut. To Arijana K and Mike K........ Let's take a closer look at your "review". You say your son's ringworm was caused by "dirty clippers" used in the shop. You also state that your pediatrician told you it "likely" developed from dirty clippers. For starters, there isn't a doctor on Earth that could EVER pinpoint the origin of a case of ringworm, much less asseverate such a libelous statement. I do believe the term your pediatrician used was "ringworm neglect" ; MEANING your son had ringworm that was NOT cared for PROPERLY by you, his parents. It takes 10-14 days for ringworm to develop in the scalp after coming in contact with the fungus that causes it. These pictures of your son's ADVANCED ringworm were taken 5 DAYS after his haircut. CLEARLY your son had ringworm PRIOR to getting his haircut. Maybe you should direct your misplaced anger and "review" where it belongs: towards your competence (or lack thereof) as parents in dealing with your children's hygiene. Just for the record(and of course you already know this, hence the desperate, last resort ,"review"), The Pennsylvania State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs paid an unannounced visit to the shop, after your false complaint, inspected the entire shop and all equipment used in it and passed it! read more
