The staff offered crayon for my kids to draw on the table, and politely almost apologetically informed us when one of their specials were not available. - The Wagyu Beef Ragu Pappardelle was delicious. Now the negatives: - Portion was too small. - The Seafood Risotto that my husband had hardly contain any seafood in it. There were tiny pieces of fish, cut pieces of prawn and that's it. For $21.8 a plate we expect to see on the plate at least some mussels, a few pieces of fully intact prawns in all their glory. When we ordered seafood risotto, we want to see seafood and not just a soupy risotto with a few cut pieces of what looked like leftover seafood they found in their fridge. - The Australian Pizza though delicious was again sparse in toppings. In summary, it was pretty average. I was expecting more, but at least everything was delicious. Tip: they don't take Eftpos and Amex, and charged 3% if you pay with credit card.

The mixed pasta platter is brilliant value and a great way to get a bit of a few pasta dishes. The pizzas, as the waiter said, "the large includes a few slices for breakfast" :-)

I'd heard about this new place opening and conveniently steered le boyfriend towards its doors. With exercise out of the way for the week, I let my eyes glaze over each of the dinner items - they have a great selection of pizzas and pastas - but it's difficult to choose. We ended up ordering a pizza (unfortunately I got my pronunciation wrong and we ended up ordering the vegetarian option). Surprisingly, we found it was a decent dish, and particularly because neither of us had had artichoke on a pizza before. Healthy options aside, the veal dish I correctly ordered was, as they say, bellissimo. The meat was cooked to perfection. It was so tender and was rolling around in a mushroom and garlic based sauce. The spinach complemented the meal perfectly, my only regret being that I didn't have enough of it (and maybe the fact that I had to share!)

After an hour of waiting for our main course the question was where was our main course, especially given we had been told that we had to be out by 8.30pm for the 2nd sitting. Told it was 10 minutes away. When I questioned what the hold up was, promptly informed that they were busy and they had a lot of take away pizza's. Glad a paying sit down customer is getting value for money. Well it finally arrived, wasted an hour and ten minutes for rubbish. My filet mignon which was supposed to be blue was med and as tough as. The lasagna was so salty that my daughter simply gagged on it. Then to top it off, the manager then told me that he would only charge 50% of the bill which was apparently $200 so asked for $100 but by the costs on the menu the total bill was $144. When I asked for the menu to check the pricing he quickly backed down and then said he would not charge me. Just as well as I had no intention of paying. Rubbish food and rubbish attitude. Stay well clear

A last minute google search led me to this place for dinner. I rang up at 6.30pm and asked for a…read moretable for 2 at 7.30pm but they said the earliest was 8pm. I hesitated a bit and said I would call back if I still wanted the reservation but they made me wait and told me 7.30pm was fine. I'm a bit confused why restaurants do that. My only explanation is that they are trying to space out the people to make it easier on the kitchen. Thoughts anyone? Anyway I didn't really know what to expect from this place as I'd never heard of it before but it seemed to have quite good reviews online. When we arrived the restaurant was full bar our table and the kitchen looked exceptionally busy. We waited about 5mins for our table to be ready and during those 5mins there was just an influx of customers coming for their pickup orders. From that point I thought I must've made a good decision for them to be that busy. We ordered the Paesana Special Pizza and Tortellini Arrabbiata to share. I was starving which made the wait seem longer but I think it was only 30mins before the pizza came out which was acceptable given how busy the place was. It would have been nice for the pasta to have come out at the same time rather than after we'd pretty much finished the pizza. I noticed on tables that weren't sharing it was a bit awkward with some people on the table receiving their food a far while ahead of others. In terms of the food I thought both the pizza and pasta were great. To be nit picky 3 slices of pizza had no prawns on it and 2 slices had double prawn on it. Think there should've been 8 prawns instead of 7 so each slice could have a prawn on it and I know it's probably because they are busy but if they could've ensured there was a prawn on each slice I think that would've been better. A prawn-less slice of pizza is no fun! The tortellini was surprisingly quite spicy but in a good way. If you can't handle your spice though you might want to get them to tone it down a bit. Atmosphere wise I think this place suits visiting in cooler weather as it has quite a cozy feeling to it. I'm not sure but it seemed like it would've been a house at some point converted into a restaurant. Overall I had an enjoyable evening and am happy to find another place to add to my list of places to revisit in future.

I've always love their Napolitana sauce. Two nights ago we decided to dine here again (this was our second time to dine there). The service was basic and I don't mind it at all. I went on and order the special which was Ravioli with a few options for the filling and I opted for pumpkin and ricotta, with Napolitana sauce (which again I remind you that it has always been my favourite sauce from this place). I was expecting a rich tomatoey sauce as what I had in the past, but instead I find the whole dish was bland. The Ravioli didn't have enough Ricotta in it as I would expected, there was a hint of sweetness from the pumpkin, and I couldn't help but think that it would've worked if they didn't combine the two and instead choose one filling either pumpkin or ricotta for the ravioli. My husband had the Spaghetti Gamberi which I had in our previous dinner there and at that time was lovely and was the reason my husband ordered it for this night's dinner. This time there was too much Garlic and rocket that the dish tasted bitter and not pleasant. But good news is that their pizza is still good as ever. It's one thing that's still consistent. The dough was perfect with generous amount of cheese which was stringy as you would expect from a good pizza as you took a slice. My kids loved it which always important. I will still come back to this place because I know how good they can be.
