Threw $5 (about a gal) in the tank then hightailed it back to to many cheaper stations on the main strip in SLT On the flip side, at least they have gas, and you don't get stuck and freeze to death like Jack in The Shining

Loaded up the car and SOOOOOMEone (not me, I didn't drive) forgot to check the gas tank. We were driving on less than a quarter tank and by the time we got to this area our low fuel light came on. Worried that we'd run out of fuel, we headed towards Kirkwood since we assumed the resort would have some, but we saw this place and stopped inside asking where the nearest gas was. We didn't see the pump since we parked on the other side of the building. They only offer regular unleaded, so if you need diesel fuel, you're SOL here. Filled up with enough gas to get us to the campground and back home. It was expensive, but no more so than we expected. Actually cheaper than we expected since we know that gas in the boonies would be a ripoff. Still, the convenience of having the option to get gas out there was sort of a lifesaver. Note: Amazingly, there are seasons out here (snow and not snow), so the area isn't always a barren snowy wilderness. During the summer, it actually turns into a barren non-snowy wilderness.

Cold Springs Market - Looks exactly like what it is.

The cold springs market has always been a favorite stop before going into the wilderness but…read morerecently there are always rude young cashiers who seem bothered by customers, raised prices, and angry locals either migrating from Mia's or the Pinecrest resort to stare you down and act entitled. I'll make sure I don't to stop here again because I'd rather not have it ruin a good day. You're better off saving your money and planning a trip to avoid this store.

I was super excited to see that they offer hot food so it was a huge disappointment to order a cheeseburger and later realize that they undercooked it without letting me know in advance or giving me an option for them to cook it longer. Not everyone likes pink or in my case extremely pink barely cooked hamburger. I could have handled a little pink (even if I don't prefer it), but my burger ended up getting thrown away after 2 bites because I was grossed out how undercooked it was, and I didn't have a way to finish cooking it myself. I understand that it takes a while to cook everyone's food and I was more than willing to wait so I don't understand why the staff felt the need to rush and feed undercooked meat to customers. I definitely won't order a burger from there again because I don't feel that the customer should have to tell a business what proper cooked hamburger meat is, and they also have no warnings anywhere that their meat is undercooked. If they even read these reviews, according to Google, "consuming undercooked ground beef can harbor bacteria like E. coli, Salmonella, and Campylobacter, which can cause foodborne illnesses (food poisoning)." Hopefully whoever has their food handling license and is cooking the food understands the risks they are putting their customers through.
