    My kids and I have been going there for over 10 yrs. Dr.Teunis and his entire staff treat us like family. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I called the morning of to confirm the appointment and ask how long it would take. I mentioned the time specifically. When we arrived on time for the appointment, we were told that the appointment was more than an hour earlier and we would have to wait more than an hour to be seen. It is a 45 minute commute each way. No courtesy reminders regarding appointments. Zero regard for the difficulty elderly patients face just in order to be at the appointments. Beyond frustrating.

    Their customer service is atrocious. Every time I attempt to call Ludwick on different phone…read morenumbers, I was placed on indefinite hold. This morning, Wednesday, I attempted to call for 30 minutes starting at 9:15 AM to no avail. Ludwick's answering system put me on hold for 10 minutes, so I disconnected and tried another phone number and was put on hold again for awhile. So I disconnected and tried a 3rd phone number and was put on hold for a long time when finally, I heard what sounded like a phone ringing and thought I would talk to one of Ludwick's reps. Instead, the phone rang and rang and rang,.... This painful phone interaction has happened to me when I attempted to call Ludwick a few months ago. It's an obvious pattern; I find it disrespectful of my time to be put on indefinite hold and I will not tolerate it. I am going to copy this comment and post it on whatever social media I can find. Ludwick's physicians seem good, but your customer service is atrocious.

My first visit (under what I believe was different management) was professional. My second experience has been the opposite. In September, I received glasses with the wrong prescription and had to return them to be corrected. On 11/19/25, I had a contact lens trial appointment. On 11/21/25, I received an email stating my order was being shipped to the store and would arrive within 3-4 business days. I did not receive the trial lenses until 1/3/26 -- over a month later. On 1/10/26, I returned for my follow-up and ordered my annual supply of contacts. That same day, I received an email stating the items were in stock and would ship to the store within 24-48 hours. I paid out of pocket. After receiving no communication, I went into the store on 2/21/26 to check the status because phone assistance has consistently been unhelpful. Staff stated the contacts had not arrived and could not provide answers. As of 2/22/26, I still have not received my contacts or any explanation for the delay. This has been months of incorrect prescriptions, lost or delayed orders, lack of follow-up, and no accountability. Management has also been unprofessional and unfriendly toward both customers and staff. I would strongly recommend confirming clear order tracking and communication before choosing this location.

When it was Longmeadow Eyecare in the Longmeadow Shopping Center, the office staff was welcoming, engaging, and great at addressing patient needs as soon as you walked into the door. Since it has moved to Conamar Drive and taken the name "Vision 2020" I am hugely disappointed. The staff is unprofessional, uninviting, and acts like the patients are a fruit fly buzzing around their meal. Dr. Agostini is still the same and without her I would have gone to a new practice long ago. It was mentioned loudly at my last visit that they rarely clean vital lenses for pictures of the eye causing images to have artifacts. The order in which patients are taken back and addressed needs work, I was taken after two people merely because I had a contact exam. There is no reason that the staff should be trying on glasses when there is a line of people waiting to be helped. The main front desk employee, whom I have communicated with in person and on the phone, doesn't seem to know what she is doing at all. I had to help her! I don't know what is going on there, but it needs to be fixed or many people will be moving on to new practices!

The day of the surgery, he checked my eyes one more time to see if the prescription was correct. He then proceeded to tell me that my eyes were so aggressively destroyed due to rosacea in my eye. He did not explain what specifically that meant for me, cancelled my surgery and sent me out to get my refund. He then explained to my mom and I that he would not ever touch my eyes and had nothing to do for me. He then said that no eye doctor would ever treat me. It was hard for me to understand why a month ago, my eyes were perfectly healthy to now not even being good enough to fix and treat. I left and had to get an emergency appointment somewhere else, because i was made to believe by this place that my eyes were in a state of emergency to the point where I thought I would lose my vision. After my emergency appointment at a doctor's office out of state, my diagnosis was not anything like the one at Maryland Vision and I am no where near as bad off as Maryland Vision made it seem. At Maryland Vision, I was given no plan and no comfort to what I was experiencing. I was left wondering what in the world to do for my health. It was handled very poorly. I worked with them for 2 years to make my eyes healthy, spending a lot of money on treatments, to only be met with that there was nothing anyone would ever do for me for my eye health. It was very disappointing how I was treated.

The first appointment, they were at least kind enough to call me the morning of to say there wasn't any point in coming in because contacts were never ordered. The second appointment, they left us waiting for over 40 minutes PAST our appointment time to tell me they didn't order his contacts. Oh- but they could give us a lesser prescription if we wanted but his vision would be blurry, WHAT??? No thank you. Add to all this, that this whole ordeal has been going on for 12 weeks with at least a dozen of my voicemails never being returned.
