My kids and I have been going there for over 10 yrs. Dr.Teunis and his entire staff treat us like family. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

That said, the first issue began at the door. The receptionist has a nasty disposition, you can tell she doesn't want to be there but has to because SSI doesn't cover the bills. She just looks at you with distain and talks down on you like how dare you come in here. 1st visit she asks some basic questions then sends you into the back. Ok, fine. Go into the back and wait for my exam with a large louder than a Harley portable A/C unit in the middle of the waiting room. Eventually I was met by an assistant who was very friendly. She explained the exam would be remote and she's going to be setting up the tests. All went well and she took me to the Dr., who finished the exam with the lens machine. After the exam I went back out to look at glasses only to find out their 2 glasses and exam bait and switch scam is a big lie and nobody with a prescription can get that deal, fabulous!! I went ahead and continued searching for frames well because I seriously need new glasses. All the frames were jumbled up, nothing was in the correct section and finding men's glasses was a chore. I get people try on glasses and just sit them back wherever the see an open spot, makes it really difficult for an employee to keep things organized. But they don't even try. I finally find a pair and go to a rep table to get my order finalized. The rep had the disposition of a wet mop and just like the receptionist you could tell she was just there because she had to be. She started running off options and I quit choosing when my glasses got up to $600. The Dr told me I should get UV protection because I apparently have developed cataracts, when I got the price of the UV protection I bypassed it. I'm not paying $1000 for a 1 year prescription. I'm getting progressives this round and unlike other eye Dr's I've been too, she didn't measure anything, just looked at me and put a marker dot on my lenses. I checked out, was told 2 weeks for the glasses. The glasses came in a few days early... wonderful!! I go back in and there sat the same receptionist, with the same why are you bothering me attitude. I told her I'm here to pick up my glasses. She told me to have a seat, dug through the drawer and gave me my glasses, then just stood there staring at me without saying a word. I tried them on, couldn't see far away. I looked around and found reading cards and grabbed it myself and checked out the reading part, reading was great, but that's only part of the lens. I told her twice I couldn't see and she just still stood there staring at me like what did I want her to do about it. Finally she said I'd have to see someone else and she'll get them. I sat there for another hour waiting and listening to her tell other patients that they'll get the 3 for special and she didn't need their insurance before sending them back. Ok, so an hour passed and I was called over to the table directly behind me. The rep looked over my order and told me the first rep set my glasses up for someone who sits at a computer all day... um ok? That would be fine with me however the part of the lens I see distance through was only a 3 mm span. Who in the world would order glasses like that!!? He/she ordered new lenses and said it'll be another 2 weeks and had me take my glasses with me. Now we sit and wait. I pray these lenses have no flaws, if they're still not right I'm demanding my money back and I'll go somewhere else. For $600 I would expect to be treated like a person and at least have a nice case to put my glasses in, not a ¢50 sleeve made out of an old towel. Last time I was here, they even gave me a cleaning kit and cloth lens wipes. Not this time, nothin was given but attitude and bad lenses. This will be my last adventure with America's Worst. Oh yeah, almost forgot... they didn't even give me my full insurance benefits. Knocked off $50 of everything. Now my insurance has been used and I won't be able to use it again for another year. Perfect. Next time I'll be going to Walmart, they're more professional, act like they care and don't rip you off.

When it was Longmeadow Eyecare in the Longmeadow Shopping Center, the office staff was welcoming, engaging, and great at addressing patient needs as soon as you walked into the door. Since it has moved to Conamar Drive and taken the name "Vision 2020" I am hugely disappointed. The staff is unprofessional, uninviting, and acts like the patients are a fruit fly buzzing around their meal. Dr. Agostini is still the same and without her I would have gone to a new practice long ago. It was mentioned loudly at my last visit that they rarely clean vital lenses for pictures of the eye causing images to have artifacts. The order in which patients are taken back and addressed needs work, I was taken after two people merely because I had a contact exam. There is no reason that the staff should be trying on glasses when there is a line of people waiting to be helped. The main front desk employee, whom I have communicated with in person and on the phone, doesn't seem to know what she is doing at all. I had to help her! I don't know what is going on there, but it needs to be fixed or many people will be moving on to new practices!
