The day I went for my appointment (Oct 30), their internet was down. Since then, Ive had to call…read morefor all things, including my prescription, and when ordering glasses, I had to remind them that I needed multi-focal lenses . Had I not reminded them, the prescription was only for distance. I've called multiple times to ask about a referral that apparently never happened, and I was recently informed by two different people in the office that 1) the referral was definitely sent, and 2) the referral was never sent, and 3) they have no record of my multiple calls requesting the referral be revisited. As of June 5, I still had not had contact with the referral doctor, so I called her directly. Her office said they'd never received a referral. As for billing, I charged for things my insurance would cover, but were never billed for. After many phone calls, I managed to get that straightened out. My insurance paid, but I had to make sure they billed my insurance company. In addition, I was charged an additional $50 for my prescription, on top of the eye exam. Who does that?! My sense is that this office is inept and dishonest. I advise anyone reading this to find another eye doctor.

I had an appointment with Dr. Thibodeaux today. I had been to Accent Vision another time and it…read morewent great. This time, however, I was told when I checked in the doctor had added another $50 to the base cost, for Optus, which takes a photograph of your eye. This was NOT OPTIONAL. I was furious and left, having to pay the $50 no-show fee to do so. I could have stayed and raised a ruckus but I was so angry I could hardly speak. Frankly, I'm astonished by this dishonesty. Avoid Accent Vision. I'm going back to Eye Associates.

Lenses/frames are quite pricey, but of very good quality. Would like to mention Julie specifically. She has assisted me several times over the years. Last year she caught an omission in my prescription (from university) as there were not prisms noted on the prescription. She made me aware of it, I got a new Rx and then proceeded to have the glasses made correctly. That saved me a lot of money, as I did not have to have the lenses made twice. She is always so cordial, efficient and knowledgeable. I just ordered another set of lenses put into frames and the whole process was smooth as silk. Hope to work with her again.

Not impressed - first off the big lady at the front desk was rude and unfriendly from the get go…read morewhen I went into the office. Secondly the doctor seemed rushed during my appointment. Thirdly they do not answer their phone using the excuse that they are short staffed (this has been several months already and I don't understand running a business such as a doctors office like that) and when you do leave a message they either don't call you back at all or they take days and days to call back. Definitely needs improvement.

Lynn was very helpful and fixed them in a short time. I offered to pay, but she demurred. I was very impressed with the office staff, their helpful attitude, and the office overall looked very professional and gave excellent customer service. If I ever have another eyeglass emergency, I will definitely come here. I recommend them highly.

I am surprised at the low ratings. The ER doc called Seligson directly. Five minutes after I got home -this was a Saturday night - I got a call from Dr. Seligson. He said he wished the ER doc had called the service as he wasn't all call. But he'd called the partner who was on call who would call me. Dr. Seligson said that if I didn't get a call, to call him back. A moment later I got the call from Dr. Hudson who made an appt to see me on emergency basis the next morning. Dr Hudson is a no nonsense guy who is quite direct which could be experienced as rudeness. But it is clear, he knows what he is talking about and I feel I get great care I am really grateful that they are in SF.

NEW PATIENTS BE AWERE!!!…read more By far the worse office and doctor I have ever been to. The man has no bed side manners, no personality whatsoever (very dull), the type that does not enjoy his profession and only practices for the money. I went to see him for a slightly elevated PSA of 4.5 with symptoms of prostate pressure... I explained to him that I had just cleared a UTI and he interrupted me in a condescending way, challenging me with the fact that males seldom getsu UTIs and switched to the possibility of being prostate cancer, and on top of that he started on his own, to give me explanations for prostate cancer treatments, "surgery or CHEMICAL CASTRATION", these were his exact words! I left the office very disturbed. Immediately booked my MRI with my orders to the Santa Fe Imaging to send my results to my PCP ONLY! Results came back as prostatitis, took antibiotics and PSA now back to normal! The office: when I booked my appointment, I specifically requested for the office to confirm that they excepted my Presbyterian insurance, they checked and told me yes. When I went to the appointment, they made a copy of my insurance card and drivers license, I paid my copay... Now, almost 6 months later they are sending me a bill for U$338 dollars for the office visit claiming that they did not accept my insurance. It seems that this office has this dishonest practices with insurance scheme, as they did the exact thing to my partner.
