C.G. completed another job of complete rebuild of the firebox in living Rm fireplace, and new spring-loaded top cover up on the roof. 2 years down the road; everything is working great. However, the company as a whole seems to put their technicians in an unfair position, using outdated upselling tactics and presenting customers with excessive prices, unfair policies, and unlawful charges. I truly hope these technicians find employment with a better company. The service was supposed to include inspection and sweeping/cleaning. However, they claimed they couldn't perform the sweeping/cleaning due to a blockage and wanted to charge $295 per hour to "unblock" the chimney--without providing any estimate of how long it would take. Isn't clearing blockages part of the sweeping/cleaning service? Naturally, we declined. What's worse is the company then tried to charge us for services they didn't complete, citing transportation costs (a 20-minute drive from Pataskala to Gahanna). Let me be clear: I never agreed to pay for transportation, and I will not pay for services that were not performed. They could not provide any evidence of me agreeing to these additional charges. It seems they rely on customers not knowing their rights. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. Save your money and find a deal on Groupon instead!

I want to warn others, don't go with Trionas. Do yourself a favor and find someone else PLEASE YOU WILL BE SO THANKFUL LATER by not making the horrible decision I made by choosing Triona's!!!! It has been almost 3 years and Anthony Triona has neglected to make good on his word and his Co's warranty to fix it. We would call and call, then emailed and emailed trying to resolve this. If he did get back us, he would say that he put us on his schedule. When that time would come and go, we would start to email and email again. This year, we were "on the schedule" for May. Still not fixed, and he kicked us down the road to October. We are resigned to the fact that he has no intention of honoring his word to fix his mistakes.
