Dr. Cooper is a most gifted ankle surgeon, whose work at the Georgetown University Hospital Foot and Ankle Center has produced many other successes beyond my own. He is a miracle worker extraordinaire. I am deeply indebted to Dr. Cooper to this day. Dr. Cooper expertly placed 22-stainless steel pins through my ankle, attached to an External Fixator, holding each remaining bone in my ankle in place until they fused together in a miraculous new formation over a three-month period. This was corrective orthopedic surgery at its finest! Dr. Cooper was assisted in removing the infected bone and tissue by Surgeon Christopher Attinger, Director of the Wound Treatment Center at Georgetown University Hospital, who also did an outstanding job over four subsequent operations. Both men practice at the top levels of their profession. I am forever indebted to Dr. Cooper and Dr. Attinger, and the fine staff at at Georgetown University Hospital, for giving me back my mobility, after I almost lost my ability to walk forever. The infection was due to the sloppy practice of orthopedic surgery and follow-up by Raymond F. Lower, D.O., and his prescribing nurse assistant Dan Williams, P.A., who still practice at Loudoun Hospital Center today. They were arrogant and careless in their practice of surgical medicine to remove a ganglion cyst, failing to follow up after being informed of the possibility of an infection by me four days after the operation. For more detail on how my ankle was allowed to get to that point after outpatient surgery by Dr. Lower, See my review of Dr. Raymond F. Lower and Dan Williams, P.A., on Google, written by me six years ago.

While the Nurse Practitioner (Ndidi) was amazing, respectful, responsive, and communicative, the…read morerest of the staff made this experience memorable for being bad. From first losing my urine sample and making me return to the office for a second one, to somehow submitting all claims to a past insurance member number that hasn't been active for a decade (though I handed them the current insurance card), this place has been a nightmare to handle my claims. They also will not forward my records to my GP despite multiple requests. I spoke with the office 6 times over 5 weeks before they agreed to refund the charges to my credit card which would have been fully covered if they submitted the claim through my actual insurance member number. Now I'm being hounded by the laboratory for the cost of lab work that was submitted to the wrong insurance, 7 weeks afterward. I hope No problem Ndidi finds a new office home for her great care, as this office will not see me again.

My fiance has a sperm analysis done at their office to submit to my infertility doctor. We needed…read morethe results faxed to me so I could bring them to my doctors appointment. We submitted the note saying to fax the results to me. I had not received them 3 days letter so I called back and they said they could not be faxed only mailed to patients. By then I was upset because they could of told this to us 3 days ago. I agreed to have them mail it but now had to move my dr appointment to the following day to allow time for the letter to be received in the mail.. Well when we received the letter they had misspelled my name in the history.. had my fiance's age wrong saying he was 41 when he is 32 even with his birthday being in the title of the letter. And the icing on the cake is that it said he never submitted a sample for test..REALLY? my infertility doctor now does not want to proceed with our cycle this month because she does not believe that a dr will make that many mistakes in a letter and that we are trying to hide his results. So i just lost on hundreds of dollars of being monitored and medication I cannot even use now. I submitted a letter to them and I am hoping someone cares enough to at least call me and apologize. The doctors were amazing but we are going to have the results done somewhere else because their office associates are not professional what so ever. I wish I could give 0 stars for them.

I recommended my father to Dr. Cabin for masseter botox to help with his lifelong problem of teeth…read moregrinding. My dad had never had any sort of botox done before so he was a bit nervous and hesitant--but Dr. Cabin and Natalie made the process SO seamless and easy, taking the time to answer all of his questions and concerns and making sure he felt confident with his choice. He came back home from the appointment so happy to have found Skin DC and shocked at how simple and painless the procedure was. Now a few months later, he's thrilled with the results and so grateful to have found Dr. Cabin to guide him through the process. I highly recommend SkinDC to everyone (and their botox-hesistant parents) :-)

Unfortunately, I had to write a review after what I have experienced. I really relied on excellent…read morereviews before choosing this place, but that was my mistake. I have been going for more than a year for Botox. The first time my eyebrows had a heavy look and generally just look "frozen" despite I explained I would like them to be lifted not dropping that much. In any case, did not like it and the same happened the second time even though I specifically said to Dr. Cabin last time I was in I was upset with the result. They said, we understand, and we will do otherwise. I did Halo and BBL with no result, just trust me. I was advised to do fillers under my eyes, laugh lines and jaw area. I asked how it would look under my eyes and jaw area since it was my first time I was told it would look very nice. It was very painful. Next morning I woke up with big bags under my eyes. I thought it's just swelling, and it would go away. It was not the case. I had an international travel coming up in 2 days. I talked to Dr. Cabin, and he said he could dissolve it, but it would be painful as well and I would have bruises. I had to wear my hat for about two weeks because I looked awful. Then my friends who travelled with me advised that I would see a doctor in Istanbul because I looked scary. He was surprised to see fillers been injected under my eyes. He was able to dissolve some of it and I felt myself again. I was thinking of face lift but thank God did not do it at this practice. I do not think Dr. Cabin would be able dissolve if something went wrong with surgery. Ladies, please, please do not rely on and trust 5-star reviews and always start with something small and see the results first. I can't imagine an experienced plastic surgeon can't understand and imagine what will look right on your face before advising anything. If things can go wrong by injecting such simple procedures like fillers, Botox, etc. I do not want to imagine what will happen under his knife. I always choose expensive clinics by just thinking if it is expensive, it must be good and it's my face at end of the day. I guess I must pay attention to negative reviews which are buried under excellent reviews and then make my final decision from now on. I do not recommend Dr. Cabin for Botox, fillers, Halo, BBL and for any facial surgeries. Please do a thorough search before you end up like me. After the response from clinic I had to answer. I received a call and asked to remove/edit my review despite I have gone through a lot of pain and ugly look at the end as a result of very simple facial procedures at this clinic. I explained the trauma I went through but they simply did not care and i refused to remove my review. If you really care about yourself, your face and do not want to experience what I have just blindly looking at the "excellent" reviews. It's up to you if you prefer to ignore like I did and experiment.

I'm posting this review exactly 1 day shy of being 3 months out from my double eyelid surgery. I…read morecan sum my experience up in one statement - I wish I'd done it sooner! I'd debated double eyelid surgery my whole life but got really interested during COVID. I saw some tapes that claimed they could give permanent double eyelids by using for 6 months or more every night. They worked...until they didn't! When the double eyelids stopped showing up one morning, what I did realize was how looser/lower the skin had gotten from the repeated crease tracing and tapes. Not good at all when compounded with how fatty/thick my eyelids naturally are. I also realized how my eyelids were getting in the way. I was unconsciously raising my right eyebrow pretty much the entire day in order to see better as the eyelid was covering so much of my pupil (which is also to say that my eyelashes were basically invisible at that point). I was starting to develop a wrinkle on the right side of my forehead only from this. Given my family has been debating a trip to Korea for a while, I also thought about pushing off getting my eyelids done in Korea. But I didn't want to spend a good week or so of precious vacation time dealing with recovery. Plus, what if something DID go wrong, I wanted a local doctor I could easily follow up with! I booked a consultation with Dr. Chaboki as he had the best portfolio out of all local doctors. This area already has a limited pool so I wasn't too hopeful when I first searched, and was worried I might have to go to NY or CA to find a doctor familiar with Asian eye anatomy. I needn't have worried as Dr. Chaboki gave me the exact results I wanted. I merely wanted my lashline visible and a defined fold. I've heard some doctors push ptosis correction (even in cases where it might not be needed), and epicanthoplasty alongside double eyelid procedures but there was none of that here. After all, ptosis is a medical condition and a whole different procedure. I booked the surgery and took a 1.5 weeks off of work, even though I work from home, because I knew my eyes would be tired. The procedure was easy-peasy, not to minimize anything since it's still a surgical procedure, but it was so tolerable. I had no ill effects (compliance with aftercare instructions is of utmost importance!). I will say there was a big difference at the 6 week mark in terms of healing. A really natural look settled in by then. And now at 3 months there's an even bigger difference and I don't think anyone would be able to tell unless I disclosed it. Very happy with my results and Dr. Chaboki is clearly a master at his craft and he's SO specialized in facial work, it really immediately shows!
