I had hesitated for years to get braces as an adult. But after I talked to Dr. Tuncay and saw the patients' before and after pictures, I immediately made up my mind and got my braces exactly the same day! It is definitely the best decision I've ever made. Now my teeth are straight and I am so satisfied to see the change in my profile. All my friends say that I look so much better and more confident. Three of my friends even went to get braces after they saw the improvement! Dr. Tuncay is very pleasant to talk to and all the staff are very professional. Besides of the pleasant environment, Dr. Tuncay himself is an experienced expert and he offers all different options. Propel and suresmile worked really well on me. Even though the price here is a little bit higher than other orthodontists, I still highly recommend Dr. Tuncay. If you ever come for a visit, you will immediately see the difference!

Simply put, there is nobody better or more experienced in these types of cases than Dr Tuncay - he quarterbacked my whole treatment with my dentist and my oral surgery team, and I always felt I was in great hands. Dr Tuncay and his staff are absolutely meticulous, and because he is also a dental school professor, he is great at educating his patients about every phase of their treatment. I was shocked and so disappointed at the attitude and lack of any compassion from the terrible lady that received me and just let me know I was late and started repeating that I was let and had to re-schedule with an upfront prepayment. I mentioned i had already prepaid this appointment and she continued to just repeat the same thing which I didn't understand if she heard or even cared that I had already paid over $300 for this appointment. I was still upset from my morning earlier events and felt she had no CS skills and I asked her to explain what she meant by the additional prepayment and again she was unclear so I rudely asked her to explain in English since we were not communicating. She then said to find another dental office as I was not welcome back! Well I would never go back to a place that has no care for how to deal with people. In my prior experience I felt like dentists just wanted to do more dental work to charge my insurance and make more money. I was constantly going to their office with cavities and crowns appointments. But doctor Rozanov was a breath of fresh air. He took the time to discuss how to be proactive in order avoid having cavities and other issues in the future - he discussed my diet (what to avoid eating or drinking), how to best floss and how often, and what mouth washes are effective and which aren't and how often to use it, and carefully analyzed my bite and what needs to be fixed to avoid teeth hitting the wrong way that would cause problems in the future. He fixed all the bad dental work that I had done before at other dentists. He is so incredibly thorough, he explains what's going on and what options exist to solve the issue, and pros and cons of each option, and what he recommends to do and why. Also, some dentists have a very rough touch, it's uncomfortable when they do the work, they press so hard, but doctor Rozanov has a gentle touch, very light and you can barely feel anything. I've been going to doctor Rozanov for many years now. I don't have cavities now, I fixed my bite and spend less money on dental work annually since I carefully follow his proactive recommendations and since he evaluates me twice a year and takes x-rays.

So, I called Team Dental to schedule appointments for my husband and me. I did not think there would be any available openings and was expecting to wait 1-2 months before seeing our new dentist. To my surprise, the office manager, Lauren was able to squeeze us in for a weekday evening slot. All my life, I've had to wait 20 minutes or longer in the waiting room before the dentist/dental assistant sees me. But NOT at Team Dental. The dentist/dental assistant/dental hygienist was ready to see me pretty much as soon as I arrived. All the staff at Team Dental are very friendly and professional. My first dentist visit was with Dr. Muhammad. Not only was he super thorough with my examination but he had THE BEST bedside manner of any dentist I've ever seen. After my examination, he explained to me the condition of my teeth and explained why I needed a deep cleaning. I started to freak out about how bad my teeth were, but he was very reassuring and took time to show me photos of worst-case scenario gum disease and that I was nowhere near that. All I had to do was get the deep cleaning and floss a lot more. Cynthia, the dental hygienist who did the deep cleaning for me was amazing too. I was nervous before the deep cleaning because I've never had one done before, but she properly numbed me so that I did not feel any pain. Then she deep cleaned the **** out of my teeth. Never have my teeth felt so good and so clean!!! Seeing the dentalcare I'm getting at Team Dental made me realize what good dentalcare is like. My previous dentists did the bare minimum and were never this thorough. Up to yesterday, I thought my teeth were fine, but they really weren't! Also, Team Dental understands the urgency of the health of your teeth. If you are experiencing pain and the longer care is delayed, the worse your condition will get. They will try to get you in as soon as possible, no matter how busy they are. It is really a great feeling to know the health of your teeth is in good hands with Team Dental.

Their website said they do consultations so I called and went in. I sat down and the hygienist started to prep for a cleaning. I said no, I was there for a consultation only. They did one xray of the affected tooth, the dentist probed it and my mouth a bit, spending about seven minutes with me. The charge was $150. During the initial call for the appointment, the follow up call, and a call the morning of when they asked if I could come in earlier, there was never any mention of a consultation charge. I would have been far better off just getting a full cleaning and xrays for $250 or whatever it is and the 'consultation' would have been included. Of course, it's their right to charge whatever they want for whatever they do, but they should disclose on the website, or tell you on the phone "we may charge $150 for a brief consultation" for existing patients.

When I went in to let them know I had taken a few steps back on my trays given all of these challenges, they give me tools to sterilize the trays that I dropped and help me understand the plan to get back on track.
