It was done by a well known Dr, but unfortunately not correctly and started a cycle of TMJ. After several consultations with dentists and prosthodontists, I chose one to redo the replacement veneers. The temporaries were not aesthetically pleasing, and I switched to another cosmetic dentist, again well known with lots of examples of beautiful work on the website. This effort did not solve the bite issue, and a week after the new veneers, the TMJ was back and worse. By then the TMJ was affecting the musculature and visual appearance of my face. Luckily, an orthodontist friend introduced me to Dr. Kim. It was worth the five hour flights from San Francisco for treatment. Dr. Kim is extremely professional and patient. His first objective is the correct functioning of the jaw and bite. It took time to recover the natural bite and eliminate the TMJ. He patiently explained and answered lots of questions over an extended period of time, and gave me a lot of confidence that it would finally turn out right. Over the course of recovering the natural bite, we worked a lot on aesthetics. After the studying and experiences I've been through, I know what good teeth look like. He took into consideration the length, bulk, and size of teeth to make a natural smile and appearance when talking. The color is natural, and most importantly, the bite is good, the TMJ is gone, and the muscles on my face are getting back to normal. Thank you Dr. Kim !

Yet afterwards, I was sent a bill as the appointment was actually scheduled too early. I would never go for the apppointment if I knew it conflicted with my insurance yet I was told before coming in that the appointment would not be a problem. The office actually agreed that it was their fault and the mistake of the receptionist but instead of offering any solution or compromise, they told me I would just have to pay the full bill for an appointment that was a result of THEIR mistake. I wouldn't trust a place that has such a poor management of issues that THEY caused. They have lost a long-term customer here and I will not be recommending this office to anyone else.

I was subsequently billed $600+ for the work that was done. To add insult to injury, within a year, two of the fillings that were done have since fallen out and needed to be replaced. My money is gone and so is my time. However, I am currently a patient at a dentist office who clearly knows what types of insurance is accepted and how to correctly fill cavities.

The front desk and staff show little interest in the patients, often speaking in an unpleasant manner and barely making eye contact. Her pain is so bad when she went back and told him she couldn't eat he said oh well guess you can't eat. And then told her maybe it's just her teeth. He made her feel stupid and was so uncaring. Do not go here. Took her to another dentist who said maybe the nerve got irritated or the pulp of tooth was damaged.
