Going to the doctors office should be like going to any small business or service in the US. I expect to be treated like a customer at the minimum. Unfortunately, this was by far one of my worst experiences at the physician's office. I was recommended by my doctor to visit Dr. Golod for my hip pain. I had never met him or heard of him prior to my first visit. So I made an appointment for a weekday (Tuesday) at 1:30PM. I drove from Mountain View to San Jose during the mid-day for this appointment. When I arrived, I was not treated like a new client should be, especially for a small medical office with a specialty. It's not like I am going to ER and told to wait in the corner. I had arrived for my appointment 15 mins early - I figured I could get the paper-work started. The receptionist told me that I was early, and that two people would be in front of me - I thought that is fine, it is expected as I arrived 15 mins early. I had no problem. Come 1:30PM I waited patiently, I continued to wait patiently until 1:45PM, then 2PM. Mind you, at NO point did the receptionist ever acknowledge my presence during the 30 min delay. At 2:10 the assistant decided to take me to the room and ask me some preliminary questions. I thought great, we are getting somewhere. He left after 2 mins and I continued to wait in the room. I waited until 2:30PM - and still no doctor, no receptionist, nobody to at least apologize or even be transparent on the delay! Honestly, i got really fed up. I decided to open the door and walk out. I saw the doctor and assistant, and told them this is ridiculous waiting 1 hour - I had to go back to work for meetings. I stormed out of the office without telling them how I really felt or what I would do once I got back to my computer. Now, two days later, I never once got a call from this doctor's office with an apology or a rescheduled appointment. Is this simply arrogance or ignorance? I truly felt I was treated like a no-class citizen in a highly affluent medical office located next door to Good Samaritan in Los Gatos. If they knew they were running behind by 1+ hour - how about a courtesy call? I just don't get it. Driving from Mountain View to this medical office in San Jose, and then back to work in Mountain View, and finally back home to Campbell...I mean what a waste of my time, fuel, and o-zone! I would never recommend Dr Golod's office - as a new, potential client, they lost incremental visits from me and whoever reads this. read more

I have a very complicated medical history. I need to have the confidence that my physicians are on the same page and know me and care about me. I do not care how long I have to wait for this. I hope that the next person after me understands that I need the attention and time necessary. I do understand how busy everyone in the world is and how stressfull it is to wait. I wish I could give every office some customer service tips. It is so easy to make patients feel that they are important. I know and understand how busy and overworked we all are in this valley. Doctor's staff are no exception. Luckily I just want the physician to give me the attention I need and deserve. Dr. Golod provides this. I seriously do NOT understand these negative reviews. I was referred to Dr. Golod by my physician, Sidney Choslovsky for my second total knee replacement. My first one was done in Florida while I resided there and it was not an experience I wished to repeat. It took me 6 months to fully recover and for most of that time, I was kept on mind numbing drugs. Needless to say, I put off the much needed surgery to my other knee until I could hardly stand or walk and with much reluctance, I agreed to see Dr. Golod. His office was small and intimate, his staff polite and personable. My wait time was no more than 15 mins and that included the time it took to fill out preliminary paperwork. I met his assistant, Tim first and we discussed my medical history. They did ex rays and I waited maybe 10 mins before Dr Golod stepped in the room with my chart. He explained to me that I most definitely needed surgery but because of my overall health he was hesitant and wanted to speak with my primary care physician as well as my doctors in Florida first. Things moved very fast after that and together we agreed to move forward with the surgery. I must say, I was impressed to find that he wasn't a "knife happy" surgeon and was pleased that he took the time to investigate my health so thoroughly before proceeding with a plan designed for me! My first surgery date had to be canceled because I came down with the flu. Both Dr. Golod and Dr Choslovsky worked together to insure I was in the best possible health before rescheduling and they moved fast once I was cleared medically. The program at Good Samaritan Hospital is beyond reproach! They sent me to a class designed to prepare me and answer any and all questions about my upcoming surgery. The instructor, Daniel is a treasure! There was not a question he could not answer. He acts as both instructor and liaison between patient, doctor and hospital staff. I have never EVER been in a hospital that was so well prepared to address each individual need! We were even given Daniel's personal phone numbers for pre and post op concerns! I felt like I was in the land of Oz because this was definitely, "a horse of a different color!" My surgery went well! The staff functioned like a well oiled machine and TWO DAYS later, I was released to go home! In Florida, I spent two weeks in a nursing home after surgery! At one week post op, I walked into Dr. Golod's office with the aid of a walker. At my 3 week post op visit, I walked in unaided by walker or cane! Friday of this week marked 12 weeks and I am fully recovered! I have never had such skillful and personable care anywhere! I would highly recommend Dr. Golod, his assistant Tim and The Joint Replacement Program at Good Samaritan Hospital to Anyone! I don't have one single complaint and trust me, I come from a long history of complaining! I have nothing but relief and gratitude to Dr. Golod! I am 64 and can dance once again. I was referred to Dr. Mark Golod's office by my medical insurance for a pain in my right shoulder. So I set up an appointment the following week. At the appointment I gave Mark Golod my past history and told him the issues I was having with my shoulder. After the consultation mark Golod wanted me to drive to Palo Alto for a special MRI. I made the appointment for my MRI and took time off of work the following week to get the MRI down. This procedure involved a special dye being injected into my shoulder joint (not fun). After a two hour wait and MRI I was finished. A week after the MRI I went back to Mark Golod's office to discuss the MRI and what to do next. Golod said that my MRI really didn't turn up anything in particular and assumed that I had had some rotator cuff issues since that was the issue I had in my right shoulder years earlier. Mark Golod's plan of action was to perform arthroscopic surgery on my right shoulder and look at my glenum labrum and rotator cuff. Two weeks later I set aside a Thursday and Friday to recover and into surgery I went. At the post-op visit Mark Golod's PAC explained the post op physical therapy process and what I could and could not do. I followed his recommendations to a "T" even though they both said that my shoulder looked in remarkably good condition and they couldn't understand why I was having the issues I was having. After four weeks of physical therapy and "taking it easy". I went for my second follow-up and my pain had not lessened. They told me to continue with physical therapy and do minimal activities that involved my shoulder. After another three weeks I went back with no improvement in my condition. Mark Golod then said that i may want to seek a referral to another doctor. I knew there was a serious problem at this point. I did my own research and found a Dr. Kao who at the time was across the street from Golod. On my initial visit Dr. Kao suspected a broken Acromion Process. During the first surgery to see what Golod had or had not done. Dr. Kao discovered that my Acromion process was in fact fractured completely through and was pinching my Rotator Cuff. A second surgery was scheduled to do and open surgery to affix the bone using two screws and wire. Because of Dr. Golod's incompetence I had to endure more months of pain, two un-needed surgeries, lost time at work and I was out of pocket my own money for medical related costs not covered by my insurance. In my opinion Mark Golod should be scrubbing toilets and not performing medical procedures on humans. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. Let me start off by saying if you are overweight, GO TO ANOTHER DOCTOR. I found out I had fractured my hip and was in need of a hip replacement. At the recommendation from a friend, I went to see Mark Golod. His staff was efficient and friendly. All I can say is that the doctor made me feel worse than terrible. He was insulting and made me feel like a fat object. He stated, "how can I work with this?", where "this" meant me. Obviously, I would never dream of allowing this man to touch one hair on my head after objectifying me. It must be nice to be able to pick and choose one's clientele; most do not have that luxury. Let's face it, he can't be that good of a doctor if he is not willing to take on the challenging cases I thought a doctor was supposed to be kind, caring and willing to help. Well, not this guy. All I can say is he has a Napoleonic complex. He is a short little man who must make himself feel better by making others larger than him feel bad. I can just imagine what his bedside manner must be like. Luckily, I will never have the opportunity to find out. I urge anyone looking for a caring orthopedist, to look elsewhere. read more

I had a full knee replacement and Rt shoulder reconstruction! Both times were a great experience, if you call surgery a good experience. I had my Rt knee replaced several years ago in Boise and it was a good job, however Dr. Golod's was better! I wasn't sure either but during one appt he actually sat there and we discussed the whole procedure, the thing was he wasn't trying to hurry me up we sat there until I was satisfied! Don't understand why the other reviewer had such a problem but I too took time off from work, I to drove from Palo Alto but my experience was nothing but professional; I would highly recommended Dr Golod!!!!! Oh, I am 61 yrs old and in training for a Century bike ride in June - with two new knees and no problem. Wanted to add an update: It has now been a little over a year for my knee and one year for my shoulder, both are like new - I have nothad any problem with either since my surgery. I completed my 100 mile bike ride around Lake Tahoe back in June with no problem (my bike broke down more than I did!). I would Highly recommend Dr. Golod, he is a Dr. who is great at his job and cares about his patience. read more

They are very similar to my experience with this doctor at the Los Gatos location. He does not review medical history before meeting with a patient, speaks in a patronizing manner, and offers absolutely no compassion for the patient. @Kesh - consider yourself very lucky that you got out of "Dr." Golod's office without seeing him. He is definitely the worse doctor I have ever been to. I had a friend who saw Dr. Golod once for hip pain and he gave her a cortisone shot that helped so I decided to make an appointment with him for the pain I was experiencing in my hips. I have to agree with Kesh's evaluation of the customer service in the office - very arrogant and careless - should have been a red flag! Anyway, when the dr finally came in, he immediately asked me how old I was, when I answered 44, he told me that I was "just getting old"! This before he took my history or examined me. When I explained the pain I was in, he asked me to "try to make my hip joint pop." Upon hearing that the pop wasn't too loud, he said "that's nothing, some people you can here from down the hall!"...Um, OK? I didn't realise I was in a competition. Then he noticed that I have a herniated disc from 1995 and off he went on a tangent. He proceeded to tell me that even though I lost the ability to walk for two weeks every 6 weeks or so for 2 years, that my pain must not have been THAT bad because he had a herniated disc and had to have surgery on it. WHAT? I was amazed, a doctor was actually trying to debate with me that his pain was worse than mine! How did this appointment become about HIS pain? This tangent was easily 2/3rd of the time he was in the room with me. His only proof of this assumption was that he had had surgery. He told me that his best friend is an Orthopedic Surgeon and that upon being told he had a herniated disc, he got the surgery. Well, it's a lot different to have a friend who can do the surgery and being at the mercy of a dr I don't know from Adam, tell me how risky spine surgery is and "I can do surgery but I can't give you a new disc"... but I digress. Golod took X-rays at his office and also had me get an MRI, telling me that if the MRI didn't show anything, they could give me the results over the phone and that I could use the MRI to go see a spine specialist, to which I agreed. But when the results of the MRI came in, his office wouldn't give me the results, instead insisting on my having another appointment (Kaching!). So I worried for days before the appointment thinking that he only wanted to see me back if the MRI showed something more serious. But when I went in, and after another round of how wimpy I must be with pain - that it can't be THAT bad, he told me that "I don't see anything wrong with the MRI but then again, I'm not a spine specialist so I don't really know what I'm looking at"! SERIOUSLY!!! I drove all the way over from Santa Cruz, paid $25 co-pay (I can only assume the fortune they charged my insurance too!), spent over 45 minutes waiting for the guy to show up in the room just to have him tell me NOTHING! (Other than once again, his boo-boo hurt more than mine.) I asked why I had been told I had to come in and he said he was "wondering the same thing" and proceeded to bring me out to the receptionist to ask her why she had me come in. She, being his wife, of course went along with the whole charade but didn't offer me my co-pay back. Nor did they give me the MRI, I had to make another trip to get that from them. BTW: My friend, after seeing him a few more times, agrees - this man shouldn't be practicing medicine! And as for the toliets S.H. suggested Golod scrub, I have my doubts he'd do much of a job at that either! So if you value your body, your sanity and your money - STAY AWAY!!! read more

Dr. Golod just did a reattachment of my triceps tendon over a week ago, and it's amazing the difference in my range of motion and pain in just that short period of time. He's been doing this for over 40 years and I wouldn't see anyone else! He's a amazing doctor. Extremely down to earth and can be brutally honest. I like that. read more

Luckily happened upon Dr. Mark Golod at the Urgent Care in Los Gatos. Very thankful he was on call the day, I went in after a wrist fracture, and later a follow up visit at his office. Very professional, knowledgeable, and spent time educating me on my options. After my options were given, and with his experience in the field was able to comfortably trust what was suggested. He was able to operate on me immediately, and very happy with my results. He is a very busy doctor, but spent the time to talk to me, to listen to my concerns, and to make the decisions according to what we spoke about. It would be a benefit to have him at the Urgent Care in Los Gatos. Excellent!!! read more

We were referred to Dr. Golod's office because he was one of the few orthopedic surgeons in the area able to provide the type of hip "revision" surgery required. I was not the patient, it was my Mother. My Mother suffered from hip problems which required hip replacements at an early age. Due to a series of recent unfortunate accidents and the deterioration of past implants, her mobility had steadily declined. She went from normal walking, to using a cane, then to a walker, ultimately requiring a wheelchair, with the pain progressively increasing along the way. We first met with Dr. Golod and Physician's Assistant, Tim, in March 2012. After the initial meeting and evaluation of x-rays, they were confident they would be able to help with the first priority of correcting the problem and stopping the pain with the left hip. The surgery was more extensive than first thought, but was successful. She went to rehab for a while then home for further recuperation. During the series of follow-up appointments we began planning on the next revision surgery for the right hip. Following the doctor's advice, we waited until enough strength had built up in the left hip. The right hip surgery was done in July 2012. Fortunately, this hip was not in the same deteriorated condition as the left, surgery was not as extensive, but it was another successful surgery. We met with Dr. Golod, and Tim, for the final follow-up meeting on 12 Oct 2012, 7 months after our initial meeting. My Mother was able to walk in unassisted and pain free. She is back to walking and exercising daily, driving again, living again with a renewed independent quality of life. We are grateful to Dr. Golod and his staff. For the professionalism, care and attention, and assurance they could help. They did just that and more. read more

I noticed 3 rather negative reviews for the ortho surgeon, Mark Golod. I think they were all in error! Dr. Golod has operated on me on two occasions. I was treated professionally, seen rapidly and had good results. I have worked with many patients who have gone to this doctor and the feedback I received from them has been excellent. He is considered an excellent orthopedic surgeon, by other doctors in this area. He has treated a number of other physicians and that says a lot. He is a referral source for a number of local doctors. Don't expect to be wowed when you meet him. He is rather quiet, understated and kind. He comes across as somewhat "shy", but very professional. the practice of medicine is "his life". He spends a great deal of time with his patients and cares about their outcome. I'd go back to see him any time I had an orthopedic problem. read more

Dr. Golod did a tendon repair on my hip several months ago and I would NEVER go back to him again! The surgery was a success (so far), but during my hospital stay and after care, he appeared clueless and totally uncaring. I had a very bad allergic reaction to the pain medication, with itching, swelling of my face and throat and went into severe broncho spasms over two days -- the most common side effect of the pain medication, dilaudid, I later discovered. He missed it entirely, and responded 1 1/2 hrs. after the nurses called him. He then refused to talk to me about my symptoms and just walked out of the hospital room! We had discussed my allergies before surgery, and he had even talked with my allergist. The hospital nurses finally consulted with my allergist and the medication was changed, but I required an extra day in the hospital. Later, during my follow-up office visit, he again refused to discuss the problem and again just walked out of the room!! Doctors are not perfect, they are human, and I could have accepted an apology if he had given one. read more

My son broke his arm six weeks ago. When we arrived at the ER the PA said he would most likely need surgery to have some plates put in to stabilize the arm. His arm was at a 45 degree angle between his wrist and elbow! Dr. Golod came in and set his arm. He did a fabulous job and my son did not need surgery. The staff is very nice. They are very good at explaining things to us. We have been in the office several times. We have had to wait maybe 20 minutes once, when we got into the exam room the staff apologized. I think it is unrealistic that they is not wait in a Doctors office. I think Dr. Golod is a good Doctor. I asked both the ER doctors and my son's pediatrician and they both said he was a good Dr. and they would recommend him. We had a good experience with him. read more

I had a very successful total knee replacement done in November 2012 by Dr. Golod, who was recommended by my family doctor and nurse. During my stay in the hospital, the nurses and staff were very complimentary of Dr. Golod which was very reassuring. Most importantly, I am very happy with the results. After a month, I was walking without a cane and I believe my speedy recovery at age 71 was due to this doctor's skill and professionalism. An amazing benefit is that Dr. Golod uses Good Samaritan Hospital and their Silicon Valley Joint Replacement Center which enhances the patients' experience by providing pre-surgical education, private rooms, effective pain management techniques, group physical therapy sessions, and a multidisciplinary team of specially-trained nurses and physical therapists . . Dr. Golod's office staff has always been very helpful, efficient, and professional. When I was trying to decide on whether to have the elective surgery, Dr. Golod spent over 30 minutes with me answering all my questions. On each visit, I was seen in less than 5 minutes. If anyone is looking for a great orthopedic surgeon, I would highly recommend Dr. Mark Golod. read more

I am truly surprised to see the negative reviews on this physician. What I takeaway from these reviews is that people have to wait sometime before being seen- I must say that he spends plenty of time with each patient reviewing the case and answering questions. Being late in the medical field is not a bad thing people!!! The last thing I want is someone who rushes out the door because someone else is waiting. I really appreciate Dr Golods conservativeness as there are MANY orthopedic surgeons who would love to operate on anyone who thinks they need surgery. Remember- surgeons make their money operating- not in their clinic so it's a good sign when an MD wants to wait and see. I love Dr Golod and would trust him with my life any day. read more

Dr. Mark Golod is amazing. My husband has been limping for over a year and after the recent hip replacement just a week ago with Dr. Golod, he is walking approximately a mile a day with no pain and no walker. This is the first I've seen my husband walk straight in a year. My husband also had a knee replacement surgery two years ago with Dr. Golod which was a great success. Our whole family uses him. He's done my mother-in-laws hip replacement, two knee replacements for my sister-in-law, knee replacement for my sister-in-laws best friend, and he'll be doing another knee replacement on the other knee for my husband in the future. We have all been extremely happy with him. He doesn't candy coat it, he's direct, to the point and very trustworthy. He's confident and very proficient at his skill. And unlike many other surgeons, he doesn't rush to surgery unless it is truly warranted and needed. He's practical, knowledgeable and honest. When it comes to joint surgery, we would always consider him first and foremost. One caveat with Dr. Golod though. If you're the type of person who wants him to say what you want to hear, then you will be disappointed. We love this about Dr. Golod. He tells it to you straight and he's never been wrong after 6 surgeries in our family. read more

Dr. Golod has a very poor bedside manner. His attitude sucks and he likes to compare "his" issues with your own. He doesn't take patients seriously and even disrespects other doctor's opinions as if only his were correct. It's bad enough as a patient that we are hurting and have to go through all proper insurance protocol before being considered for surgery (ie, medication, PT, shots, diagnostic tests, etc). When we finally get to the surgeon, we are exhausted but elated that the end is finally here and have a chance at being healed. I don't believe Dr. Golod considers any of this. Besides being a cocky, egotistical jackbutt, you have to wait sooo long to be seen. I don't mind waiting 20 minutes after my appt is scheduled, I kinda of expect to these days, but waiting over an hour just to be treated like my complaints are menial was just an added slap in the face. Let me start my review of Dr. Golod by saying if every meeting with a physician, surgeon, physicians assistant, nurse,etc. was as great of an experience as meeting Dr Golod and his staff was to me, I would see the medical world in a different light. I have never been to a Dr's office where the entire staff was as prepared to see a new patient as Dr. Golod's staff is. I saw Dr. Golod for my right knee that had been worked on two previous times when I younger. Before Dr. Golod came into the room, I meet Tim Hoveland, Dr. Golod,s PA. Great knowledgeable individual that made me feel right at home. Tim looked at my knee and immediately asked,"how long have you been on this knee?' I told him all thru a 30 year career as a firefighter and a UPS driver. Then Dr. Golod came in, shook my hand and looked at past x-rays and stated," this is a bad knee, get new x-rays, schedule Kim for a replacement ". I was to say the least, floored and excited. Finally someone out there was listening. NO more pain!!! From this point on was slow with insurance being a real pain in the a--. First, the insurance said I could not have the procedure at the hospital where Dr. Golod was a regular surgeon. Dr. Golod took the time to become a surgeon with privilege's at a new hospital for him, just for me. WOW!!!!. As a side note, El Camino Hospital in Los Gatos, what a place. Best time I've ever had in a hospital. My surgery was on September 19th. Basically except for a little nausea the afternoon of the surgery, no problems. For anyone contemplating knee replacement, Dr. Golod will opt for you to have a femoral nerve block, DO IT. NO PAIN!! At this point in this review of my surgery and Dr. Golod and Tim, Judy, and Betsy, LISTEN TO THEM. I've never meet a group of people, let alone a surgeon and his staff who are as trustworthy as this group is. There has been nothing about this process that I've felt that Dr. Golod or Tim has left out, not told me was or was not going to happen. No question has gone unanswered, information that you were wondering about left unanswered,everything that you want to know will be answered, TRUTHFULLY. I'm at November 20th writing this to say that this was a life changing event and I'm truthfully glad to say everybody in this office had a hand in my great experience. I'm walking and doing everything I've done in the past with NO pain.Everybody I've come in contact with since the surgery says what a great deal to find Dr. Golod and his staff. I get to go back to surfing and coaching baseball, two things I love to do, with no pain. I get to go and do anything I want except skydiving and running. Too all those who are writing bad reviews, take a look in the mirror and ask yourself, maybe a lot of what your mad at is your own inability to hear the truth or deal with the truth of what's being told to you, good or bad. Dr. Golod was very informative and answered all my questions. While he doesn't have a warm outgoing personality everyone else in his office does so I appreciated his professionalism instead of being put off by it. I also like the he was aware that pain was personal and he didn't try to tell me how much pain I should be feeling based on the xrays and scans. I'm hoping to recover quickly from my total knee replacement and do the other one before the end of the year. read more

I would do 0 stars if I could, but this is our story. I took my 15 year old son to see Dr.Golod for a torn UCL in his elbow from playing baseball. He has already been shut down from throwing a baseball for 9-10 months in hopes of healing itself which was recommended to us by another doctor, but that didn't work, which is why we ended up in Golod's office. Golod first says that my son didn't have a tear in his UCL. I corrected him telling him the previous doctor had already dianosed him with a torn UCL which was proven through the MRI. Then Golod tells us "I only skimmed through the chart." I am sorry but wouldn't you review the patients chart carefully before you start making assumptions?! He then says in a rude and sacarstic tone telling my son that he needed Tommy John surgery but he didn't look like Tommy John. His sarcasm implied that my son didn't look like a pro baseball player I guess. HE THEN TOLD MY SON THAT HE SHOULD JUST QUIT PLAYING BASEBALL AND DO SOMETHING ELSE!!!! Are you freaking kidding me! He then proceeds to tell my son that he's probably going to be a teacher or an accountant anyways when he gets older. What kind of freaking crappy comment is that! I am not saying he going to be a pro baseball player but if he needs surgery to play his senior year in high school or maybe college then I want him to have that option.....not just quit because some unprofessional advice from some doctor! Bottom line was that his attittude and comments made us feel as if he didn't want to treat him or even see him in his office. It was a waste of time and money going to the appointment and leaving with the only answer from him was to QUIT! That was a bunch of crap! read more

I am stunned at these negative reviews. My family has been going to Dr. Golod for the last 35 years. Over this period of time we have been to him for a myriad of reasons. He had to rebuild my husband's knee after a ski accident, my son's two broken wrists, broken sprained and dislocated fingers and limbs, one broken arm and a very serious injury to my son's leg which required surgery and several pins and rods. Each one of these incidents resulted in an excellent outcome. As far as I am concerned the measure of a good doctor is how much he cares about a patient and how good he is at his work. Dr. Golod get's an A+ in my book in both of these requirements. He is extremely thorough and very honest and realistic about results. He is more than willing to answer any and all questions and spends a long time with each patient so they are completely aware of what procedures are necessary and what their expectations should be. His office staff is amazing. They are efficient and very pleasant. They are more than willing to accommodate your scheduling and insurance needs and I have never ever had to wait more than a short period of time at any appointment. Last year I was in a bad way. 62 and both hips collapsed for various reasons. After Xrays, my primary care physician sent me to Dr. Golod. He quickly diagnosed that I needed double hip replacement, he pointed out my personal risk assessment at the time and candidly told me to change some things in order to maximize not only any negative health issues, but recovery time. It took me several months to get healthy. All that time I was moving only with a walker and heavily medicated for pain. At the end of October, he replaced my left hip. There was an immediate stabilization and pain diminished from a constant 5-6 on that side, to a 1-2 within a week. Our target was to get the right hip done before the end of 2014...a very aggressive schedule for a 2nd surgery. However, my health had bounced back so far that I was ready in 6 weeks. I had the 2nd hip done on 12/8/14. 9 days later I was walking with a cane. It was a hassle so the next day I stopped using it. A month later I was walking 2 miles a day. Today was my last followup visit. I can put on shoes and socks, walk anywhere without discomfort, can sit for extended periods and handle stairs. I'm pain free except for normal aches in other parts of my body. Since May I've lost 60lbs, heart and liver are normal...and I can walk. I give the credit, in large part to the care, skills of Mark Golod and Tim H., his surgical assistant and P.A.C. In fact, his whole office and team work very hard to assist his patients. He and Tim have changed my life and I'd highly recommend them to everyone in need of orthopedic surgery. read more
