We came here really excited for a seafood boil, my sister, nieces, my husband, and I, but…read moreunfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. The biggest issue was the flavor. Everything was very bland and tasted like it had little to no seasoning. Even the melted butter tasted like plain, unsalted butter, which didn't add much. The texture was also inconsistent. My lobster tail was rubbery and hard to eat, while my husband's was a bit better. We all ordered crab and shrimp, and overall it seemed overcooked and not well seasoned. The staff was kind and friendly, which we appreciated. However, we weren't checked on much and weren't really asked how the food was. The atmosphere was cute and had a nice vibe, but unfortunately the food didn't match the experience we were hoping for.

The dining and bar area are dimly lit and gives off a club type feel- great date spot, but it could get loud during game days. They have a couple flatscreens for games and the bar area was well decorated for Fall season. We were sat down by Emily and we let her know it was our first time there. She recommended the green Aguachiles and they were on point! Although It could have more shrimp in the dish, the flavor was top tier and we could tell the limes in the sauce were fresh. We also ordered a pair of Cadillac margaritas with Don Julio 70, which was also on point! We plan to come back. Thank you Emily for the great service and recommendation on the Aguachiles! So far, best server in Yakima!!!

Friendly greeting upon seating, we were asked if we would be choosing the buffet or ordering off the menu. We browsed the buffet and it's fairly limited with a just a few main dishes, a couple sides, and salad, so we chose to order off the menu. The menu is surprisingly quite extensive! We shared a fresh spring rolls appetizer and for an entree I chose the Ginger Beef which had fantastic flavor. Hubs chose the Swimming Angels with chicken and stir fry veggies, including spinach, in a peanut sauce (loved it). We shared a bowl of rice with plenty to spare. Mostly 4-top seating inside and a cute little outdoor space in front with a couple tables in the shade. The lunch service was a good pace to be in & out in an hour. We will return.

Had to charge the car so stopped by here for a bite. Prices are pretty high for a burger joint but…read moreat least the burgers were good. Bob's Bonanza Burger (5): Pretty good burger. Good size patty. Thick cut bacon. Mushrooms. Swiss. All blended really well. Smash Burger (5): Another winner. Smashed patties that were charred nicely topped with american cheese. 3 street tacos (4): I got 2 pork and 1 chicken. They were pretty good but didn't feel like they were anything super special for 5 bucks each. So the theme here is, everything is pretty decent. The prices are way too high. Stick with whats in their name... burgers and brew. Definitely a 5 star establishment if they didn't price themselves in the fancy restaurant category.

There are a lot of Caesar dressings, but fresh-made with anchovies or anchovy paste is best. Still, there are a few ready mades that will serve in a pinch. So I was amazed at what the cook at this Bob's did. We wanted a quick snack & my wife & I each ordered one. Leaf lettuce. Mine with no parmigiana- & hers with some waded up clumps of shredded bits, no croutons on either, but a piece of lightly toasted bread on top. The dressing was some sort of bottled green goddess. So bad it was hilarious!

Great vegetarian options in Yakima!…read more Quality: most vegetarian and Mexican places only give you rice beans and tomatoes as an option. These guys have well seasoned, actual vegetables and plentiful options that don't just seem like a taco with meat missing, butt seem like a complete food option. I got the potato tacos and the veggie burrito and both were very well done. So potatoes needed a little salt, but nothing that I couldn't fix at the table. Quantity: i'm a big guy and I eat a lot. But even I could only finish one taco and half a burrito. massive quantity! Price: $13 for a burrito that can feed 2! Ambiance: standard Mexican decor. It was clean and outdoor dining was available.

Came on a lovely late spring day. We had our dog with us and they let us sit on the patio, which…read morewas nice. They even brought out an umbrella to keep us a bit shaded from the sun. They brought out refreshing cups of water, chips and 6 types of salsa, while we reviewed the menu. The "chips" are actually whole corn tortillas fried! So you use them whole or break them into chips yourself. My guess on the salsas are: salsa verde (tomatillo), avocado, pico de gallo, a smoky ancho, a citrusy habanero, and something else. They all had distinct flavors and a little light spice, but we wanted spicier. They brought out the "no way Jose" sauce and warned us it's their spiciest and it sneaks up on ya! We tried it and found it was not burning but quite nice. We drizzled this sauce all over our food. It was the most flavorful of the bunch. The menu is quite extensive, with everything from sopas to sopes, tortas to tacos, cocktails to desserts. We each got a plate of food, meaning the main entree comes with Mexican red rice and refried beans. I got the sopita (aka sope) with barbacoa and a fish taco and husband got a dipped torta (I forget the name) filled with adobada. The amount of food and meat was quite generous, the toppings (veggies) too. I really enjoyed my sope - it had the perfect crispy crust and I could taste the slightly sweet creamy taste of the masa. The barbacoa was not as flavorful as I thought it would be. It was more like stewed beef meat. It was fine but I was expecting really deep flavor. The fish taco seemed freshly grilled and was moist, but there was a bit of a "fishy" smell and flavor that kind of took over. Thankfully, the generous veggie toppings and fresh handmade corn tortilla and salsas helped mask the flavor. Have to hand it to them that those tortillas are really good! The Mexican rice was perfect. I haven't had that flavor and texture in Mexican rice in a while and thought that was well done. The refried beans were good but also had a flavor I couldn't place my finger on... My husband said everything was really good on his plate. His torta was massive! Really flavorful and stacked with things. The adobada was very tasty. I wish I ordered that meat instead of the barbacoa and fish. Overall pretty good Mexican food, generous portions, really sweet service. The interior is also really clean and nicely decorated. They have a small parking lot out back.
