Stopped by here on as a stop on a tour to valle! The food was soo good. My favorite was the monster taco it's two tacos in one with all the meats. The service was fast and attentive. It was a great ambiance for a quick meal and there was clean bathrooms!

The Monster So good! Satisfied my craving for 3 different things at once!

Easy parking, plenty of seats, bathroom available, and the tacos taste great! Be sure to give the cooks your receipt to start making your order.

Tacos de camarones, pulpo, pescado and cabo taco with a caldo de camarón!

When in rosarito and in need for some delicious seafood tacos you got to try this place! I went early morning to avoid the long lines it can hold in the afternoon. I went ahead and order a pulpo taco, a shrimp taco and a cabo taco which is their specialty taco they offer. I also order a caldo de camaron! Their seafood tacos are big, Im a heavy eater and three tacos got me super full! Every bite was tasty and the the cooks were amazing. Once they cook your food and is ready they call you and you have to go grab your tacos. The experience you have here is amazing and your close to the beach!

Taco Pescado. The best. Order it.

My husband says these are the best fish tacos he has ever had. It was my first time eating tacos in Mexico but I was not disappointed. I recommend you stick with their traditional fish taco: taco con pescado. We tried the Cabo Monster which had fish, steak, avocado, and cheese. It was ok, very difficult to eat as a taco as the meat was so heavy and hot you couldn't lift the little soft tacos without them ripping. I wasn't a fan of the globs of cheese that did taste great but the tons of calories did make me feel a bit guilty. I'm sure the taco was also fairly unhealthy as the fish was deep-fried and there was a good amount of dressing on the taco but you just need a couple to keep you full for the day! It is quite big for a taco stand and there is plenty of covered seating so no need to worry about that! We went for a little walk after the tacos but the surrounding town doesn't have much to offer. There is a nice beach a couple blocks away but as it was wintertime when we went it was too cold to enjoy it much. Maybe next time we will go in the summer!

    Fish and shrimps!

BOMB! Love this place. It's simple. You order, get a little card thing, give it to the cook and they make your food in front of you. Can get a bit busy but they're streamlined so you'll get your food! You can see them making it, dipping the fresh fish/shrimp and creating your dish! Would come again!

I ordered the Shrimp Zareandado plate. Servings are large and food was very tasty. I had a lot of leftovers to take home. Only issue I had was that red onions they place under the shrimp had too much habanero and was way too spicy for me. I love spicy but it was overkill. So next time I will request plain red onions. Otherwise my food was delicious. Review 5/31 We stopped in to grab a quick bite before heading home and like always food and service was great. We were seated immediately. My Hubby ordered his favorite Taco with salmon, cheese, caramelizes onion and shrimp and avocado and chipotle sauce. I had the Tito California taco it is a taco dorado with a chili California, cheese and marlin inside the chili, carmelized onions and shrimp avocado and chipotle sauce. So tasty and great flavor with every bite. It is a meal in itself. Love every bite

We all had the fish tacos and they are the biggest fish tacos I've ever seen. They had 4 pieces of fried fish and all the trimmings. Honestly, each one of these ta os are a meal in its self. That's all we had this time, but they were great and very affordable. Give them a try I'm sure you'll not regret it!

My boyfriend and I wanted a nice dinner, and I looked up on Yelp and found this place! (YAS MEXICO YELP- COME THRU!) as soon as we got there, we were instantly greeted with a warm welcome. Our servers, were absolutely amazing. They knew some English, although my boyfriend is fluent, I appreciate they tried hard for me! lol :) Food: 5/5 My boyfriends and I ordered drinks, which included a mango margarita, a whiskey, and a lemonade. The drinks were seriously phenomenal! Perfect amount of sweet and alcohol! Then we ordered the food. They're a steak house, so I had to go with the steak tacos. It was amazing! The steak was so tender and seasoned to perfection. However, Our table side chili was the star of the show. My boyfriend even ordered 2 rounds, and we ate it the next day! I should've bought that stuff by the pint lol All around experience/pricing: 5/5 Zero cons, my experience here was nothing short of amazing, and we cannot wait to come back for more! The cost was also reasonable for what we received. $1,125 pesos, and $59 USD. Some may think it's a bit high for Mexico, but in LA it would've easily cost 100.

My boyfriend is a big fan of the late Anthony Bourdain so he was ecstatic. We bought our crab and lobsters from the fisherman and brought it here for the ladies to cook. Besides being in the news for drugs and human smuggling, Popotla is known for their fresh, daily caught seafood. Mariscos La Guerita is a restaurant here. Made from leftover lumber and the blue vinyl tarp, this ghetto- fabulous eatery was visited by Anthony Bourdain. To find this place, just look for a banner that says "Antoni Bourdan visits Rosarito Popotla". It's a bit intimidating if you do not speak Spanish. First, purchase your seafood from the countless vendors on the beach. (Fish range from 20-50 pesos per kilo) Once you purchase the fish, take it to the fish cleaning station. They will clean your fish for a tip. ($1 a fish) Take the cleaned fish to La Guerita and they will cook it up to your liking for about 30 pesos a fish. They will provide you with rice, beans, tortillas and an assortment of hot sauces. While you wait, make sure to check out the other stalls for their Cóctel de Mariscos or have a few beers. There must be crack sauce in the oil. Pescado Frito and the fish tacos are among the best I've had. (My wife has tried many times to duplicate the flavor but never can.) Spider crab and the sea urchin not so much. In the winter months, look for the brown box crab. It is better than the Alaskan variety. If you are in Rosarito, Mariscos La Guerita and Popotla is a great alternative to Puerto Nuevo. (Lobster Village) Just make sure you don't need to go to the banos. (bathroom) If you do, it's 5 pesos and a tetanus shot.
