The gemelli pasta tasted a bit bland for my taste buds, but the family member I went with really enjoyed it. Since we always have room for dessert, we ordered a crème brulee to share. The crème brulee was nice and not overly sweet. Overall, service was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and the food arrived in a timely manner. Although the sauce remains delicious, the food quality seems to be falling, and I see that they have a few food safety violations listed on their Yelp. The garlic noodles were swimming in the watery sauce, and the Cajun fries were not tossed, just sprinkled on top. The restaurant has never been that busy when we go, and there is usually is only one server doing all the hosting, food running, and waitressing. Ours seemed to be a little stressed today, and did not refill our drinks as much as we would've preferred, and forgot things like our salt and pepper. We will probably still keep coming just for that sauce, but looks like the restaurant has a few things to work out to bring back its former glory.

But I'm a firm believer in giving good restaurants another chance, so I came back for round three. I'm glad I did. This visit was a perfect 5-star experience. The burrito was assembled exactly the way it should be: every ingredient evenly distributed, every bite balanced, and everything fresh and flavorful. That's the difference between a good burrito and a great one. I also asked for an extra salsa for the chips, and the staff happily gave me one with a smile. One salsa is perfect for the burrito, but I definitely needed a second for the chips, so I appreciated the excellent customer service. The restaurant continues to impress with how clean it is, the convenient location, and the incredibly fresh fish. Those have been consistent on every visit. The only downside is the price. My meal (burrito, chips, drink, and tip) came to about $30, so it's definitely not cheap. That said, I don't mind paying for high-quality food, and this time it absolutely delivered. The chips were excellent, too. My only suggestion would be expanding the drink selection. They only had one Jarritos flavor available for soda during my visit.
