Today, he had to remove two roots that were way in the back, one being near sensitive nerves. Not only did I not feel the novocaine shots, I didn't feel the extractions either. When he was finished, he told me that I did a good job. I replied that was only because he did a good job. Blanca deserves kudos as well because she's always concerned about your comfort. I was taken minutes after my arrival and within 1/2 hr I had X-rays and the the broken half of tooth removed w/o any anasthesia or numbing w/no significant pain. Barely any discomfort. A temporary crown was put on and I was out the door and able to have an anniversary lunch w/my husband. He is an amazing dentist! His staff are very professional and friendly. I went to a dentist in Oak Brook who specialized in TMJ. The treatment plan I was presented with astounded me. The total plan would cost me more than $45,000, was incredibly invasive, and I would end up with many of my teeth being crowned. I was waking up with excruciating headaches daily. My headaches were so severe that people around me could tell just by looking at me that I was experiencing a bad headache. My jaw clicked and popped and sometimes even locked up on me. Dr. Kim presented me with a treatment for Invisalign. I have now completed my full ortho plan and am waiting to order my retainers after I complete a little dental work (I decided to replace my old silver fillings and needed a couple of crowns). I can not even begin to try explaining how quickly my headaches started to subside. I would say by the time I ended my 3rd set of trays, the headaches were about gone. After months of calls they finally sent me a check for $1,951 in November which bounced! I check from a Dentist office that bounced, I could not believe it. I called and the staff virtually laughed and sent another check that took over 10 days to get to me. i had asked them to send it FEDX and they agreed but sent it US mail. They felt that I should not have gotten upset but they were the ones that were incompetent and disrespectful. The dentist is good but I tell everyone not to go there because you cant trust the back office. The staff said i used profanity and i was very upset on the phone, well after several calls to the insurance company and finding out the staff had not sent the proper information and then the dental office lost the first check sent from the insurance company and receiving a bounced check. I think I had a right to be quite upset. i sent a confidential letter to the Dentist which I did not get a response from and i dont even know if he received it. So i am done!
