From day 1, Nicki was so personable and put me at ease with the whole planning process. We had monthly check ins and she made sure I was on top of the planning process despite my busy work schedule and while my (now) husband was deployed. She was so helpful with suggestions for my vendors and she always had my best interest in mind. She was also very prompt with answering emails and texts (even while having a newborn at home!). On the actual day of the wedding, she was amazing! She made it a point for us to enjoy our actual wedding day, whether it be a few minutes for us to relax before the reception, blocking off some guests so we had time to eat and even saved us some desserts from our dessert table (which was cleared out rather early in the evening). All in all, highly recommended! Thank you Nicki for making our day so special!!

This was all happening while she was in the tail end of her second trimester. Needless to say, a gutsy performance by supermom wedding coordinator. We could not have asked for a better experience that Whimsical Day created for us and our family and friends. Thank you Nicki!

From start to finish they were incredibly easy to communicate with- responsive, attentive, and truly listened to what I wanted. Lisa and her team brought my vision to life, and it was even better than I imagined. What really stood out was their willingness to work within our budget without compromising on quality or creativity. They not only designed and set up all the balloons, backdrops, installations but they also spent extra time helping me decorate and design the farmers market with the custom gifts I made and/or purchased for my guests. The entire process felt stress-free and enjoyable. Everything turned out beautifully and we received so many compliments. I am truly honored to be The Simple Luxe's first farmers market themed client and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, reliable, and kind vendor who goes above and beyond. Jasmine was also a pleasure to work with. She was very communicative, easy to talk to, and made the entire process stress-free from start to finish. She really listened to our ideas, gave us time to make decisions, and helped us stay within our budget. Huge thanks to the setup and cleanup team as well. Their hard work and dedication to their clients truly shows in their work.

Both times I reached out to Donaji pretty late in planning but she was such a life saver- helped us pull together both events in 3-4 weeks! She's very responsive and helps you through all the details! Our first event was a small family gathering of 30- she was able to provide rentals, catering, servers, a bar tender, and videographer. Great linen, serve ware, tablescape, and food! For our second event at an event location in Pasadena, she provided catering, servers, and a bar tender as well! Again, another delightful experience with Donaji who has always in my experience gone above and beyond! She followed up with me each time, even on details that were not under her contracting services- just her being helpful to make our lives easier and have a successful event! Thank you Donaji and your team!

I would have loved to give this event a four star. Even a five star. It was at an elegant venue,…read morethe vendors were mostly nice, and stylish, and knowledgeable. But the experience left me disappointed.... I think they oversold tickets (or gave too many free tickets.) Thus, making the venue too small for such a large crowd. You couldn't stand or walk between the booths without knocking out someone's display or rubbing into someone, or getting your purse pulled... very very uncomfortable. If you're holding water or sampling a cake, just forget it, you need to be a joggler- it was like a circus act to walk around! All the elegance was overlooked due to small spaces to stand back and enjoy. All the vendors were awesome, kudos to their spirit; a shout out goes to Andrew, that guy from Cafe Amore, did not rest for one second, lovingly making cappuccinos and lattes. Also to my new favorite florist, Artin at Arte Floral. And to my favorite make-up artist Arpine at Enirpa! As for parking, it was a nightmare to go in, and another one to leave! I would love to go again, but if it is an auditorium perhaps, where the space is abundant and the vendors can showcase what they can do in bare spaces! And at least there won't be any parking rage... Yes, I witnessed that!

We planned an out-of-town wedding which is already stressful but Candice was our main point of contact for all the vendors and handled everything so smoothly. I'm not gonna lie, we were totally procrastinating on certain things but she is so incredibly organized and communicative that she kept us on top of it all without making us feel overwhelmed. She knows her stuff inside and out. She constantly went so far out of her way for us. When we flew into town to meet with vendors, our schedule was packed. The cake place was way too far away for us to make it so Candice literally drove out of her way to go pick up the cake samplers and bring them to us to take home just so we wouldn't miss out. Two days before the wedding, I was spiraling bc I thought our seating chart signage and menus weren't going to arrive in time. Candice immediately jumped in with a backup plan to fix it. Thank goodness they did arrive but we had a back up plan just in case. And the actual wedding day? She was a total rockstar!! Everything felt completely seamless. Even our guests and wedding party were pulling us aside to say how impressed they were by how professional and amazing her and her team were. Candice is just an incredible human and truly the best at what she does. You will be in the absolute best hands!

Hiring Candice was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we genuinely cannot imagine having gone through this experience without her. We booked the Whole Milk package and started working with Candice about ten months before our wedding. From the very beginning, she made the entire planning process feel incredibly smooth, organized, and easy. Wedding planning can involve an overwhelming number of decisions and moving pieces, but with Candice, we always felt like everything was under control. One of the biggest advantages of working with Candice is her incredible network and relationships with vendors throughout the LA area. She works with truly top-notch, high-quality people, and it is so clear how much her vendors respect and enjoy working with her. She stays in constant communication with everyone throughout the planning process and, as the wedding approaches, coordinates all of the details between vendors. Candice is also unbelievably organized and detail-oriented. The wedding-day timeline she created for us was incredibly comprehensive. She thought through things we never would have even considered and had every little detail accounted for. She also has an amazing eye for design and helped us create a wedding that was more beautiful than we could have imagined, while always making sure that our own tastes and preferences were at the center of every decision. She gives great advice and guidance without ever making you feel like there is a "right" way you have to do something. We received SO many compliments on how beautiful our wedding was and design of everything and that so many details were thought of to make the guest experience wonderful. As amazing as she was throughout the planning process, the wedding day itself is where Candice truly shined. She took care of absolutely everything. She has such a calm, easygoing presence that somehow makes you feel like there is genuinely nothing you need to worry about. We were able to be completely present and enjoy our wedding because we knew Candice was behind the scenes making sure every detail was handled. Our families absolutely adored her as well. By the end of the night, everyone could see how invested she was in our wedding and just how much work she had put into making the day perfect for us. She went above and beyond in so many ways, especially at the end of the night, taking care of countless little things for us that we hadn't even thought about. After working together for almost a year, we felt so much trust in Candice, and by our wedding day, she felt like such an important part of the experience. Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be, and so much of that is because of Candice. We would hire her again in a heartbeat and recommend Candice and Milk Events without hesitation. Truly the best.
