This is long overdue, DJ Willie Will goes way back as he DJ'ed at my Quinceañera!! He is awesome and it was such an amazing time. Fast forward to now and I had to have him DJ at my wedding! We had our first meeting going over questions, how the timeline works and what our homework would be to get ready for the next meeting. The process with Will was so great and smooth! He is the type of person that goes with the flow and knows the vibes when it comes to the crowd. Not only was Will our DJ at our reception, but he also handled our ceremony music and it all turned out very beautiful! I told him I was going to send him a playlist, little did he know a few songs turned into 100, but it didn't matter because EVERYONE had so much fun!! Lol. We were all on the dance floor and I couldn't believe how fast the night went when I heard the last song. We also had the photo booth which was so worth it! Our guests kept the printed copy and we get all the digital copies. We worked on the designs for the photo booth layout and our monogram design, it was my favorite part! Dj Will is the most amazing DJ I have EVER worked with. Not only have I worked with him in wedding industry for years, but I also recently used him for my own wedding. All I have to say is WOW. I am SO picky with music and he played every song I wanted during specific moments, and he also kept the dance floor going when it was time to party! Seriously.. If I can give DJ Willie 10 starts I would! Our wedding just ended 2 days ago and I had to jump on here to write about him. He is absolutely amazing! Throughout our wedding preparation process he was extremely helpful, attentive, organized, and quick on the email replies (which as a bride you know is extremely important). He did everything in his power to give us exactly what we wanted and create the vibe for our wedding that we envisioned. During our reception, there wasn't a time when at least half of our guests weren't on the dance floor. People were dancing that I have never seen dance before and DJ Willie played music that everyone of our guests could recognize and felt comfortable dancing to. The day after the wedding, near everyone I spoke to raved about DJ WIllie. I had people telling me that they had't had that much fun EVER at a wedding. Another person asked me if I chose the setlist because the music was so wonderful. We also chose the photobooth which was a huge hit. It was sleek and modern and so easy to operate. All you had to do was touch the screen and it took your pictures. The photobooth attendants were sweet and very helpful. Something that I noticed and also loved was the fact that A. the props used were high quality and every time a guest just threw the props back on the table, the attendant would organize it again. There's not 1 reason you shouldn't hire DJ Willie Will. We hired Will to DJ our wedding at The French Estate in Orange a few weeks ago (4/5/14) & what we got was a lot more. DJ Willie Will isn't just a guy in the corner playing top 40, he served as a great host & an even better entertainer! Trust me when I say that when trying to plan a wedding you want & need open communication from your vendors & Will was great at it. We met on 2 separate occasions BEFORE the wedding day to go over all our special songs & was super helpful when trying to pick out ones we weren't settled on. Our taste in music isn't top 40 so he was awesome at downloading & playing our 'Must Play List' that included a bunch of Indie Pop & Indie Love songs. Speaking about being a great entertainer - do yourselves & guests a favor & make sure you do his YMCA show - everyone at our wedding can't stop talking about it! Another aspect that gets lost when searching for a good DJ is the fact that you need him to be a great time manager, trust me. We had some issues at our venue that threw off our ceremony start time by 15 minutes which then threw off our grand entrance time by 25 minutes, then because of those delays we had to shuffle in our formal photos between everything else. Did DJ Willie Will panic? Hell no! He rolled with it & gave us his recommendations to get us back on track & talked directly to our coordinator to make her aware of the changes - so in a lot of ways we had 2 day of time coordinators & it proved invaluable! I know this review is getting long but this stuff can't be overstated. I didn't even get to the lighting which was freakin' awesome! Do yourselves a favor & spend a little extra on the uplighting - it doesn't just set a great mood but it shows up great in the photos. I got to admit I was a little taken aback when I heard his price but after about 6 other quotes he was definitely affordable & actually had better prices than others. You usually get what you pay for but with DJ Willie Will we got much more - he was worth everything we paid plus more! read more

Will is the absolute BEST DJ you will find. I was floored by how much time he spends with you planning out not only your music, but the entire timeline of your reception. I didn't know that picking a good DJ would end up being so important, but he really ran the entire reception and kept everything on track and on time. Will reminds you of small details you may not have remembered and has tons of great ideas to make your reception a lot of fun. I will admit, some of the reception activities he described had me a bit skeptical during the planning meetings, but I am SO glad I just went with it because the guy knows what he's doing. Our reception was an absolute blast and three weeks later, people are still telling us what an amazing time they had and how much fun our DJ was. We also booked My Pic in the Box for our photo booth and lighting and we were really happy with both. The equipment looks brand new and the background was really cute. Our guests had so much fun and since it was an open photo booth, they were able to fit some pretty big groups into one shot. At the end of the night, we got a copy of each photo that had been taken already put into an album - so cool! The first thing we did when we got home the next day was go through all of the pictures and there were so many great ones. They also work with a graphic designer to customize your photo layout. Overall working with Will and Willie was just such a great experience. They have my highest recommendation. He was able to handle a last minute custom requests like scratching the record mid our first slow dance, for us to breakout into a Michael Jackson routine. There aren't enough words that could express my graduated to DJ Willie Will for his professionalism and his experience that he brought to the table. My husband and I are from different generations, and taste in music. He was able to bring the best of both generations. When it came time to do the father/daughter dance my father had a major disagreement and made a big scene on the dance floor. I was not able to book his DJ services due to personal reasons, but I liked his attention to detail and personality so much, that we booked his photo booth service and we were not disappointed. Our family reunion/80th birthday party was a success with DJWillie. He was very responsive to emails and phone calls during the planning stages.
