This park is cute and good for younger kids, even though the play structure says kids ages 5-12. There's not very much to it. Street parking, no bathrooms, just small little park. Play structure mostly is just steps, no monkey bars or poles or anything like that.

i was very happy to see that the renovations to this park had finally been completed. the city dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for this park took place on june 9, 2012. unfortunately, i missed the ribbon cutting, but i came in time to see some of the children's activities (face painting, arts and crafts) and enjoy some of the refreshments provided by local vendors. this park has been beautifully re-done. i love the nature theme, with stone benches shaped like caterpillars and many different types of flowering plants circumferencing the park. there is a medium-size grassy area toward the back. the middle of the park boasts a playground complete with the "soft surface" so that it doesn't hurt as much when your kids fall. since it's in a quieter part of mountain view, away from downtown, this park is peaceful and quiet and great for just sitting and enjoying a book.

A brand new beautiful neighborhood park. Beautiful, vibrant, colorful 'Mariposas' 'Butterflies' in the park can be seen from the street. I'm proud of Mountain View, the city that I live in, the city that I'm a home owner in, the city where I raised my famiiy. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. May every man, woman & child feel the fluttering of 'mariposas' in their heart when they visit this lovely new park. Thank you City of Mountain View for this wonderful addition. Park dedication will be on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 10:00 am. I'm looking forward to the dedication and opening of this new park. When my husband and I were raising our family we would take our children to various Mountain View events such as this one. My husband is now deceased so it is in his fond memory that I look forward to attending the opening of this park. If Don was still alive he would have said, 'come on babe, let's go'. See you there!

In Mountain View, this is the nicest little park as I've ever been to. Time and time again, the four o'clock magic hour comes a radiant sundown through the trees and I've always had my camera ready for some flash in the pan moment. This park is ideal for entertaining one to five year old tots into safe jungle gyms, slides, swings, sandbox, a caterpillar made of rock to totter on, and being entertained by pictures of butterflies. Or for the adult, lounging on a park bench with a snack or throwing a frisbee too your dog. During off season the air is usually a perfect crisp. #sincerity

PS. This is the best park in Mountain View. Small yet yummy. Appear to have got the new Tree Hugger badge by a check-in. The requirements seem to be three check-ins at Parks. Mine where all city parks, two checkins at the same park.
