There's so much going on, a soccer field, a skate park, a duck pond, tennis course, swimming pool, and plenty of small paths for walking. There's also a library on-site that I haven't checked out yet. With all the space and variety, it's a great place to spend time outdoors. Also a bonus is when the ducks have small babies running around, they are the cutest to watch as the little ducklings bring a smile to my face. There's plenty of parking, and with a police station nearby, it feels like a fairly safe park even in the evenings. My husband and I used to walk here all the time, and it's a great place to enjoy the outdoors.

I saw from a distance there was one dog lying down - it was the pit bull & before you know it there it was on my feet going after my own cream maltipoo swirling I grabbed the collar up under the jaw & yanked it by then the owner arrived saying I'm so sorry & I handed him his dog that let go of my dogs ear that got torn & needed surgery thank God no one else was hurt & I was able to hand off the Doberman. So beware there are unleashed bullies around. The park should deputize the dog walkers to collect fines from unleashed dogs.

There's a parking lot with good amount of spots. I think when I was there about 9am, there was about 3 cars. More people came later when we were leaving. There's a playground that's gated/fenced in so that's good for the families who has little kids. There's a cute little pond with lots of pretty flowers surrounding it. There's also some benches and picnic tables. There are also some grassy areas. We saw lots of cute other cute doggies here. It's a very dog friendly park. Someone didn't pick up their doggie's doo doo. Shame shame shame. Make sure be respectful and pick up after your doggies! We need to keep this beautiful little park clean. Hiked at Wunderlich Park on a sunny Saturday in March! We used AllTrails for directions and we…read morereached around 9am - to our surprise, the parking lot was full by then so definitely recommend coming earlier. There were multiple cars circling around looking for a spot as well. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes before parking. We did the Bear Gulch and Alambique trail clockwise. There are some brief steep sections, but for the most part, the trail was moderate in terms of difficulty. We didn't encounter too many people despite all the cars in the lot. We spotted a small snake on the trail and there was a lot of horse manure on the Alambique portions, so we had to watch our step closely. The trail was mostly shaded which was nice, but there wasn't much of a view. Overall, the trail was well marked and maintained (minus the manure on Alambique). Good hike for a sunny day, but the parking lot situation could be improved.

One of their little boys through a big rock towards my daughter and it nearly hit her. Parents didn't even have him apologize. This was on a Friday afternoon. Kids are a pure product of their parents and it's sad they don't get disciplined for nearly harming another human, on purpose. The kid was laughing. Shame on his mom and dad for not teaching him how wrong on so many levels that was. Had the rock hit my daughter, there would have been serious consequences including calling the authorities that were the ones who referred us to that park.

But I'll let you in on it, since unless you live in the area, it's doubtful you'd drive out of your way to get here. And drive you must. Nestled in Stanford Hills, just off of Sand Hill Road, there's no way you'd even notice the place unless you (a) had a dog; or (b) had a kid; and (c) lived nearby. A bit more than three acres of grass with a small little play area for kids, it's the perfect place for dogwalking or lounging on a lazy summer afternoon. Minuses are: there are no swings (just a play structure) and limited shade during peak hours. Pluses are: there are rarely any people here, it's quiet, and you can usually spot birds of prey circling overhead. There are better equipped parks out there (Burgess, for one), but this one is pretty great.
