I called Broco at 5:30 pm ( their office goes home at 5). At 5:30 I got a call back from Tom. The next morning I got set up and Ted came over and fixed everything. I also had contact with 3 others in the company that day. Broco is a local veteran owned company. They answer their phones and are ready to help. I am so pleased to be a customer of Broco, they are fantastic. After they placed the tanks and filled them my fill up was more than a dollar less per gallon than my old company. In October when I tried using the heat, it would not come on. I tried finding a reset button but couldn't, that's when I noticed the "new" pump was covered in dust. I called them and they sent a tech, who showed me how to reset, it was the actual the flashing light you had to press and hold for 10 seconds to reset, my old pump had a clear button on the side. they charged me 350 more for the visit. The pump never worked properly. The entire winter it kept shutting off every few days, eventually getting worse until it was shutting off every day. I called them again, they claimed it was the controller that was malfunctioning but they never changed that, which was a lie, it was attached to the pump and totally different from my old one, which had the button on the side, I had to pay them 350 for a tech to show me how to reset this new controller. He claimed it was irrelevant since it should still be under warranty. 3 months later I got a bill for 850 for changing the controller. I called and explained and they said they would get back to me. They never did. Instead they paid my service bill with money I paid for oil delivery, then sent me a bill for the same amount for oil delivery. all oil deliveries were paid in full the day after delivery. It's a lie and scam to get me to pay for a junk pump. When I try and call they hang up on me.

We knew we were pushing our luck and needed to replace all them very soon. What we loved was there was zero pressure. I contacted Ellie at the office and she was fabulous! Very knowledgeable and patient in answering our many questions over the following days. The day of installation could not have gone any better. Ellie communicated with us throughout the day. The crew arrived on time, explained to us what the plans were for the day and then went straight to work. I almost flipped when I saw someone else say their oil was delivered to the wrong address. Happened…read moreto me too, they delivered to the home next door. I was home all day and never saw them show up. When I called they said they delivered to me and I said no you didn't. They insisted they use GPS and even told me what my house looked like. That's great but that doesn't prove a thing. I was then told I probably was in the bathroom, that the gauge on my tank was probably broken, and other excuses why I was wrong in saying I never got the delivery. After asking for the printout from the truck, becasue every delivery has a printed slip, they finally called me and said they had indeed delivered to the wrong house. By the way my neighbor came by earlier that day with a slip saying that SHE got the delivery so if they continued to deny it I had solid proof. No customer should be treated like they are crazy, that's the way I felt becasue they were acting like I was off my rocker and didn't know what was going on. It infuriates me. Needless to say I dropped them real fast.

On a recent zero degree day, I called up with a question about some open valve on my furnace piping that I was suspicious was causing circulation issues and our house /radiators to not be heating and always be luke warm since we moved in two winters ago. I was surprised they sent a technician right out to come talk to me just for a question, not an emergency, on a zero degree day (helped that we are under the yearly service contract). He got here, checked the valves and explained their function, adjusted it to be partially open, but then on inspecting the system he found that it was electrically wired improperly and was configured so that it was only calling the furnace to heat the water to the minimum set temp of 120 instead of 190 needed to heat our radiators! yikes. He re-wired the thermostats to call the burner to produce the correct amount of hot water on the spot, in and out in about an hour! A "free" and no hassle experience because we had a service contract, on a zero degree day; i did not expect such a good experience but am very happy with Reggie's now, especially this technician, and happy my house is finally warm for once!

I wished Kenny all the best and hoped for the best with Fawcett. The first time I needed an oil delivery, Fawcett rudely told me I'd have to wait 3 days. Didn't matter that I was an existing customer of the company they bought, but it is what it is and I never called them back again. That was 2 years ago. I did some research and on the recommendation of a friend, I switched to John's Oil. Their prices are among the lowest at any given time and their service has been great. The woman who answers the phone is a little robotic, but she hasn't been rude to me. The guy is a little more friendlier, but as long as they do what they say and come when they promise, I can't complain. My oil furnace broke down this morning. It got down to 40 degrees inside and was about 6 outside. I called them at 8:00am and explained what was going on. By 10:00am they had a service man at my door and by 11:00am my heat was up and running. THAT's service and until that changes, John's Oil is my company of choice. 4 stars only because I get hit with an extra $20 charge if I get less than 100 gallons, which I sometimes have to do. I only have a small tank 137 gallon tank and don't want to let it get too low on the off chance they can't get out, so sometimes I only get 50 gallons and when cash is low, it's a nice option to have too. Other companies won't come out for less than a 100 gallon delivery.

He arrived Saturday morning and had some difficulty figuring out what was wrong, unfortunately by then our co2 reliefs were venting. He was on the phone most of the time while here. In the end he told us to call a refrigeration contractor in Wilmington Ma. That did the trick. The technician from ARC was excellent. He diagnosed the issue immediately and got us running again. Just goes to show you that you get what you pay for. You might be tempted to call a cheap guy that is working out of a pickup truck, but when things get bad you need to call a real contractor. Still need to talk to Smith Mechanical over a billing issue, he seems to of charged us for the time the other contractor worked on the job, plus his time, and we paid the other contractor directly.
