Most of the flavor is on the outside though and because the chicken is so juicy and big the crust falls off. The chicken sand which is HUGE. There is so much meat and the ratio seems really off. The bread gets really soggy fast but the coleslaw and pickles are a nice addition. The flavors are really solid. The medium is the perfect spice for me. The tenders are okay, since I got mild it wasn't really flavorful and the dang sauce isn't very flavorful either. Food was made to order because it was HOT. The brewery area is very cute and fun but the parking situation is not great.

They make their food to order bc our food was STEAMING. The chicken sandwich was a behemoth of a sandwich. I could barely bite it, but worth the $15! The bun was extremely soft, but the ratio of chicken to bun was a little off. Their pickles are sweet which is ideal with that level of heat. I got the hot which was perfect for me. The fries are amazing tbh, even after sitting in the fridge, they had a great flavor and texture somehow. I wish they put more sauce which is probably my personal preference haha It was a good meal overall, but not my favorite fried chicken spot. The burger with curry sauce WAS SO GOOOOD!! If i came back, I would get that. Smash burger patty with a pillowy bun - delish!

cute place, deserves the hype…read more i think it's our favorite taco place now wow the suadero was the best. crispy, smoky, yet tender well seasoned meat 10/10 carnitas close second for me. even softer meat that just melts with each bite, more one dimensional than suadero. only reason why it fell second bistec was okay, kinda tough and tastes like other places sauces are so spicy delicious mhmhm chef is sooo nice and welcomes everyone individually

The just-okay ones were the Nopales, and the Al Pastor leaned way too hard on some spice, tastes like allspice to me. It was intense and just felt off balance. Definitely get the Quesotaco over regular. The griddled cheese is a real upgrade over the standard ones. Tortillas are fresh too. The salsa bar is awesome. Tomatillo, a red one that's really spicy, a jalapeno based one, and one with cilantro that's great. Really good stuff. The one thing that drives me nuts is you can't modify anything. Tons of families in there, we came in with our picky kids and just asked for rice and beans. No. Okay, can we just buy tortillas? No. Fine, sell us a taco and put all the meat and toppings on the side so I can hand my kids a plain tortilla? No. Whoever is running that kitchen, the fact that you literally cannot hand me a tortilla is absurd. The place is cramped and you're not coming here for the ambiance, the inside is whatever. On the plus side the line moves fast and the food comes out quick. They are cranking it out. Overall this is a home run. It's a couple little things away from an easy 5 stars.

This is a one-woman show with excellent, friendly service and delicious food! We were able to sit inside at Night Owl to beat the heat, which was much appreciated, but there are picnic tables in the shade, too. Everything we ordered was excellent: Grilled Chicken w/Yellow Rice and Green Chili was some of the most tender, flavorful chicken I've ever had. The Batagor Fried Dumplings were a large portion and very filling. We loved the peanut sauce for dipping. Lastly the Empal Gentong w/smoked brisket had a sizable portion of brisket included and the broth itself was both flavorful and light. We ate every bite of what we ordered and will definitely return to try more of the menu!

Unfortunately, I was not super hungry so I only order one plate. I had to pick batagor which is a fried chicken and shrimp cake with spicy peanut sauce. It was delicious and is probably my all time favorite Indonesian dish. Yeni's is a food truck parked outside of Night Owl bar. You can either take to go or sit at one of their shared outdoor picnic tables. Great spot to get a small taste of what Indonesian food is like. I highly recommend you give it a try!

It's a large food trailer at the corner of Metric Blvd and Cedar Bend Dr in North Austin area. I got The Awakening burger from their "Forbidden Menu" which has a bunch of different bold burgers. The Awakening definitely lived up to its name since the deep fried battered jalapeño and the Awakening sauce are very spicy (and delicious). The patty isn't huge and is a smash burger style, but the burger was filling and bun was very fresh tasting. I even ran into a nice guy at the window for the pickup and we recognized each other from when he was a manager at Sonic. He's definitely at a much better place now with Buddha Burger! They also have a picnic table area with some shade if you choose to eat before you got the road again. And the corner isn't too loud, I'm fact they even had some music playing.

This instantly became my favorite burger spot around after my first visit. The staff are always kind, the food comes out fast, and everything I've had has been consistently amazing. The Cajun fries are a must. They're packed with flavor and have just the right amount of kick. I've worked my way through pretty much the whole menu at this point, including several burgers and even the chicken sandwich's, and honestly it's all been ridiculously good. The burger patties are flavorful, juicy, and perfectly greasy in the best possible way. The Nirvana sauce takes everything to another level and has become mandatory for me anytime I go. My personal favorite is the California Classic, and I always get the double because it's just too good not to. It's definitely one of those indulgent meals you try not to have too often, but every time I cave and go back, it completely delivers.

I wanted a very specific kind of burrito: cheese grilled directly onto the OUTSIDE of the tortilla, so the whole thing develops a crispy, browned cheese crust on the flat-top. Not queso poured over it, not extra cheese inside, and not simply a regular burrito pressed on the grill. Asado's will make it. You just need to ask. Mine came out beautifully toasted with a deep golden-brown exterior and melted cheese around the seams. Exactly what I had been looking for after having a similar burrito from a food truck in Houston. So, for anyone who ends up here after searching for a grilled cheese burrito, crispy cheese burrito, toasted cheesy burrito, cheese-crusted burrito, or quesaburrito in Austin: order whatever burrito you want and ask them to grill cheese onto the outside. Future burrito hunters: you're welcome.

The burrito itself was delicious and a pretty decent size. My only complaint was that it wasn't as crispy as I was expecting. However, I did take it to go, so that could have been part of the reason. I'd definitely be interested in trying it fresh next time to see if it makes a difference. The real highlight for me was definitely their salsa! I tried both the salsa verde and salsa rojo, and they were both so good. The salsa rojo had a nice kick without being overwhelming, while the salsa verde was more mild and easy to enjoy. Overall, it was a solid burrito and I'd definitely come back, especially to try more of their menu and those salsas again!
