After completing eight post-surgery therapy sessions with Kintsugi, I asked at the time whether…read morethere was any balance on my account. I was told there wasn't. Nearly a year and a half later, I received a bill totaling close to $2,000--despite the sessions being basic stretching exercises. I contacted Kintsugi to understand the charges and the delayed billing. I was told the coding was done by the therapist and that the billing came from a third-party company--not Kintsugi. However, the bill had Kintsugi's name and contact number, which makes the attempt to shift responsibility feel dismissive and unprofessional. Not only were the charges excessive for simple stretching, but I also stopped attending because I could perform these exercises independently. What's most disappointing is that the billing was delayed until I was no longer working and on a very tight budget. This timing added unnecessary financial stress. During my call, the person I spoke with said he would inform the owner but couldn't offer any resolution. He later left me a voicemail saying he felt I was mad at him, which struck me as odd--I never made any personal remarks, nor did I direct any frustration toward him as an individual. The experience reflects poorly on Kintsugi's business practices and, ultimately, on the leadership that enables them.

Once I was done with my treatment I fell off the first week did no more exercise. The following week I came across their print-out and saw resistant bands I was like crap let me get back in the motion. So I do my to do list before I crash and burn 3 times a week hey something is better then nothing it's just like flossing teeth ( baby steps ). Anyways the PT fellas are great ( Nick, Joe, Seth) and whoever I left out they all have their own methods but they make PT fun, I hate it but it's suppose to help for the better. And just when you think you can slack off, here comes Tanner watching you like a hawk, giving you instructions on how to do the stretch correctly ( Tanner I was just being lazy when the guys turned their back, I didn't realize you were in on it to). I give your office a A++. When I upgrade my insurance plan, I will be back. Plus I plan to stop by sometime next week to drop off my payment and say Hello!

I've been to other PT places in the past and I really loved that I could do PT virtually ! She had the perfect combination of encouragement and understood when I was unable to perform the exercises she guided me through. Some PTs are super enthusiastic (like cheerleaders - ugh) but Lindsay was personable but not to saccharine. I have to do PT again for my shoulder - I finally had Total Shoulder Joint Replacement and I am able to schedule virtually with Lindsay again !

Staff come into rooms without knocking, with no regard for privacy or basic respect. The way they speak to patients is cold and rude, smart asses really, like people don't matter. It's disgusting how little care or compassion is shown. The facility is cold and stale. The staff's attitude is complete shit for a healthcare facility. Stafford should be ashamed of how they treat people.

Due to the fact that they are always understaffed we can easily say that It's not an easy turn around for this facility to be successful. I see that each and everyone that is working in this facility works really hard especially the rehab team and most importantly the nurses. If the rehab team and nurses can devide themselves just to meet their patient standard of care, they would. I would say give this facility a chance because inside this building is a great of team members that are working hard to give the care and support that our love one needs.

I strongly believe patients privacy is a must. I asked to speak to the clinic Director but was never given the chance. We have a school aged child and PT interferes with his school. They did not inform us they were open on weekends. Along with they call you at random times to tell you that they have an opening when you're already scheduled multiple times out of the blue. The therapist are very kind and nice and compassionate. I would not recommend coming back due to the Milking of Insurance and Patients Privacy out in the open is not okay. Select Physical Therapy in Redondo had a hand specialist, had availability for a new patient and was in my insurance carrier's network. I was quite alarmed as I could not move my wrist independently from my hand. It was stuck straight after being in a cast for three months. Michele, a hand therapy specialist, was clearly knowledgeable and dedicated in providing expert care. I was quite impressed when she actually pulled out a notebook with highlighted and detailed diagrams of what bones and muscles were involved with my particular issue. She explained how the bones worked and which of them needed to be manipulated to most effectively increase the mobility in my hand and wrist. Her expertise, hard work and supportive manner got me through an intensive and, thankfully, successful 4 month program of exercises. She worked diligently to make sure I received every benefit of my in-office sessions and always sent home exercises to do until my next session. When Michele was unavailable, Robert and Kelly, two other therapists in their office, expertly covered my therapy sessions. Select Physical Therapy is definitely worth trying for anyone who is willing to work hard and take advantage of the guidance and support that their therapists have to offer. They are the best!

As soon as I was told to perform some therapeutic exercises, I realize why it was therapeutic; it helps! The people that works here are mostly women; they're nice, awesome, and somehow comforting. Getting to know them is pretty cool. They also perform massages depending on your condition. I feel relieved every time I get my shoulder massage. I get a little disappointed when I'm done for a day's physical therapy session. What I'm really disappointed is how some people treat some of the workers as robots. They're not as automatic as an ATM in the ghetto. They're people! They're professionals! They know what they're doing and it's a healthcare environment. Obviously they'll be busy with other clients, so be patient with them. The workers here are outstanding as their service and I would recommend the outgoing and active people who are injured to get their physical therapy here.

I sent over all information at 1:05pm that day, I followed up around 4:00pm and got confirmation that everything was received and my husband appointment was all set. My husband shows up at 8:00am, and Billy was terrible, she said they couldn't see him because they didn't get his paperwork done. She said she left work early and didn't get it done, that she left it for the other gal to get it complete. They refused to see him, they were unaccommodating, my husband left. When my husband left he held the door open for one of their employees who was just coming in with their hands full, we wonder now if that was who should have been seeing my husband and couldn't because they were late. I called upset, Billy told me that he could come back up with his referral and that they would see him, three minutes later she said they wouldn't see him because it was twenty minutes after his appointment time. I talked to Kelly the director, she didn't care one bit that we were treated bad and continued with the same terrible service that we received from Billy, she said that we were the ones at fault and out of line. I called the corporate rep and talk to Candace, she was great. They got us all taken care of within minutes and had an appointment set for us at the Normandy Park location. We do not recommend the DesMoines location.
