These people are crooks. I purchased from them a hydraulic cylinder for a snow plow at a cost 4…read moretimes higher than what was the reasonable price from other retailers. Shortly after I found the same hydraulic cylinder from another shop at a lower price. Three hours later, when returned the item to Matkin, they charged me 30% "restoking fee". The hydraulic cylinder I purchased was not packaged, I did not use it, and it was in may possession, placed on the back seat of my car, for only 3 hours. Last winter I had a similar experience with Matkin. The hydraulic pump of my snow plow needed repair. A Matkin employee told me: "It will cost you at least $1000 and it will take us about a week to fix it". I did not go for it. On the internet I found a person in Ohio, who sold me 3 perfectly working pumps for $900. I think Matkin is doing a lot of business with the city of Pocatello and with Bannock county, which use taxpayer's money and do not care too much about the cost.

If I could give no stars I would. I brought in a set of brake shoes from a 1950Ford 2 ton truck…read morethat needed new linings. I asked them if they carried the linings in stock and they replied yes. I checked with them a week later and asked them if the brake shoes had been relined and they replied that they were still trying to locate the linings. This means they lied about having them in stock. They told me they couldn't find any. They then told me it would he another two weeks. I decided to look myself and in an hour and half I found a manufacturer that manufactures the linings and they were available immediately. I went in to pick my brake shoes, of which I had already removed all the linings and cleaned them up and they charged me a $15 handling charge. By trade I'm a heavy duty mechanic, and I will never take any business to them nor recommend them to any one else.
