I went with a 4 inch tile border, mini pebble plaster, cool decking surround added a tanning ledge with new stairs and more concrete for a bigger patio (not pictured) and it looks great! Initially it looked great and they spoke a good game however over the last couple years calcium build up began all over the hot tub and tiles falling off. We tried to contact them for "warranty" work but they never would respond or come out. We had Delgado Elite Pools come out and confirm no barrier was placed under the tiles, concrete was put over materials it shouldn't be, our "waterfalls" were not built correctly causing water to flow unevenly and leave stains. All of it needs redone now and the thousands and thousands of dollars we paid PAY LESS POOLs was a waste. Do NOT use this company unless you plan having the work redone correctly by a reputable company in a very short time. ZERO stars. Let's stop fraudulent businesses with their poor workmanship. Here is a pic our tub having to be redone for almost 8k. Thanks for nothing PAY LESS!

And due to acid lock, we were having algae problems. Waterman's came in and in only 12 hours reduced our TDS from 6400 to 1000, the calcium hardness from 7600 to 90, and the CYA from over 250 ( test could not register the amount) to 30. It's like starting all over with a pool full of drinking water. Well worth the cost, and a lot cheaper than refilling. Highly recommended.

He came out and looked at the project and agreed to replace the entire filter mechanism and repair the Polaris. This is where it becomes difficult. He did not show back up and would not answer calls nor respond to texts. Finally, after weeks, he answered and said he had been busy moving. We were patient and waited for him to get thru that. Fast forward, he comes out and sells us a "slightly used" filter because he had replaced it for a larger one for another customer. He sold us on its reliability and assured us he would maintain it serviced. He installed the new machine (tossed and left the old one aside), he worked on the Polaris and was paid what he charged. Again, he didn't come back. We called and texted to no avail because the Polaris is NOT fixed. Now, the filter he sold us has to have all of the panels replaced because they were not good to begin with. We hired someone new now and have spent the money AGAIN to do what he promised and did not deliver. I do not recommend this pool service at all.
