8/10 overall for Wapato Point Resort. My time here was free, so I can't judge based on price vs…read more quality, but I can say that I very much enjoyed my 4 day stay here. I have to agree with the other reviewer's on the subject of check in and check out times. 6pm check in with a 10am checkout feels absolutely ridiculous, and almost feels like they're cutting your vacation and entire day short. If you arrive early, plan on finding other activities to occupy yourself before checking in. The unit I stayed in had yet to be remodeled, so it lacked the nicer room amenities, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. The view however, made up for any other complaints. The accommodations of the resort were great, and I'd imagine, perfect for families. The pools are fairly private, and even when the area is full, didn't feel crowded or stuffy. We brought our canoe and were happy to learn we could dock it there for free. My only criticism is that the grounds and accommodations are not the best as far as accessibility goes. Almost nothing was ADA compliant, and the steep walkways were hard for my mother to continue going up and down from our room to the beach.

We have been timeshare owners at Wapato Point since 1991 and the service provided by Johnny was totally unexpected and very appreciated. What a magnificent way to start our vacation. Thank you Johnny.

The site is beautiful and Carl and Heidi provided a pleasant and easy experience for myself and my family. Any time I needed to stop by the venue (which is also where they live!) I was always welcome. They gave advice when asked and stepped back when needed. They are a beautiful, loving couple that take joy in seeing others enjoy their wedding day. Although Greens Landing is relatively new to the Chelan Wedding Scene, they will go far in the future and this place is already in High Demand. With multiple locations for ceremonies and reception sites, this venue is one of those places every bride dreams about. I can, without a doubt, provide a 5 star rating to Greens Landing Weddings & Events. The staff is professional, thoughtful and hardworking-they do exactly what they say they will do. We utilized the lake, Shoreline jet ski rentals on site, outdoor swimming pools and the playsets for our younger kids. They had trailer parking for our friends boat which was nice and we could rent boats and jet skis there too. No restaurants on site. I was shocked that none of the wedding party chose to book lodging here when the wedding was here, because this place was so much nicer than the big hotels down in town. Regardless, we had our pick of the place, and chose the king bed room called Songbird as far from the event center as possible in case the festivities went late and we wanted to crash. Finding the event center was a disaster. We took a lot longer to get up from Oregon to Manson, and by the time we got up to the lake, it was already dark. Thankfully they had us in contact with them via their text concierge line, and helped us when we got turned around, and we finally arrived. We were greeted warmly by the young lady staffing the center, and she showed us to our room. Even though it was pitch black outside, we were able to get a general feel for the property, and it was lovely. The room was immaculately designed, had a fresh and newly built smell, and we were super pleased with the quality of the amenities. The bed was super comfy, all the linens and towels were Matouk, which we love, and the space was warm and inviting. It felt like we were staying at a spa, and the only thing missing was an in-room massage. Despite it being the start of winter, our room was perfectly climate controlled and didn't leave us feeling dried up like some hotels do with in-room ac/heat. The shower was luxurious with really nice in-shower bath products, but I absolutely LOVED their bathrobes, which were ultra-plush lined, super warm, and very cozy. I wanted to take one home with me but I resisted! I did text them after our stay was over because I definitely want to order the towels from our room- they were beyond excellent. What a find. The next day, when it was fully light outside, we took a little walk around the property, and a drive around the city. It was so nice to be away from all the goings on in town, and felt like a little getaway during our getaway. The wedding was over the weekend, and the staff did an amazing job rolling with quite a mishmash of characters at the wedding during covid. We met the owner Jacqueline and her sweet pups at one point during rehearsal before the wedding, and she was so sweet and genuine, I know why this place is such a gem. Overall, I was really impressed and delighted with our stay here, and the venue was perfect for the event as well. If I were to be in the area again, even if it wasn't for an event at this location, I would definitely go out of my way to stay at Harmony Meadows again. Delightful experience, and I highly recommend staying here!

I have loved Manson my entire life. My dad was born and raised there, we spent a lot of time there…read moregrowing up, and we still have family there. We visit as often as we can, so it meant a lot to our family when our son and daughter-in-law chose to get married near Lake Chelan. They found Harmony Meadows, and the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The setting was exactly what they envisioned for their wedding day. Unfortunately, our experience with the owner, Jacqueline, was extremely disappointing. As the mother of the groom, I didn't have much direct interaction with her leading up to the wedding, but I witnessed and heard enough during the wedding weekend to be concerned. The bride, the bride's mother, and several bridesmaids were treated rudely both the day before and the day of the wedding. Rather than helping create a positive, memorable experience, there were unnecessary confrontations and comments that added stress to what should have been a joyful occasion. She spoke negatively about other weddings at the location and also spoke unkindly about our son and daughter in law's wedding before it even happened. She ended up storming off before the wedding happened so didn't see her the rest of the time. She made it more about herself than what it was meant to be. The cottages also presented problems. My sister and sister-in-law stayed in one of the units, and around 1:00 a.m. on the first night, the fire/carbon monoxide alarm began sounding. They texted the emergency contact number but received no response. After calling, someone eventually came and moved them upstairs, but they were never told what caused the alarm. While getting ready for the wedding, my daughter used the hair dryer in our cottage. It was already damaged when she first unfolded it, the handle was loose and flopped while in use. I immediately requested a replacement. Despite explaining that it was already broken, we were later charged $50 for that hair dryer. Jacqueline ultimately agreed to remove that charge after I contacted her. After the wedding, the mother of the bride received notice that several deductions would be taken from the security deposit. These included another $50 charge for a hair dryer in my sister's room that they never used. We were told it had been "broken in half," but no photos or proof of damage were provided. They were also charged $40 per furniture item--$160 total--for moving beds slightly to make room for a baby's crib, despite no evidence that the furniture had been damaged. Additional charges included "excessive food" on a tablecloth and rental fees for two DJ tables that were never used. We have photos and video from the reception showing the DJ did not use those tables. The venue itself is stunning, but customer service is just as important as the location, especially for weddings. Couples invest a significant amount of money and trust in a venue to help make one of the most important days of their lives special. Sadly, our experience left us feeling disappointed and frustrated. Harmony Meadows has tremendous potential, but based on our experience, the customer service, especially Jacqueline did not reflect the level of professionalism we expected.

If I could give it 0 stars I gladly would…read more Our stay Friday 6/3 thru Sunday 6/5 was fabulous, but what happened when we left has been a nightmare to deal with. My family has a small house in Chelan Falls, but a pipe burst so we needed a place to stay for a wedding. I found this place on VRBO which was perfect for my fiancé, sister, brother in law, two nieces under 2 years old, and myself. Come Monday morning I woke up at 6am and checked my personal emails. I was notified that I'd be charged $500 because they found a pet toy and animal hair in our unit which was against their policy. I was in disbelief and thought that they had to have had the wrong room - this was clearly a mistake. Neither my sister or I own a dog. I'm actually allergic. Out of all of the VRBO and Airbnb options why would I, and IF I owned a dog, decide to stay in a place that didn't allow them and risk a $500 fee? There are places to stay cheaper than that. Right away I called the front desk number and was furious asking what happened. They ended up hanging up on me. It took me 3 days to reach a Supervisor, Ellie, and 4 days to reach Jonathan (the Manager). Since I wasn't getting any answers I filed for fraud on my credit card, and let management know that I filed and will not be paying the fee regardless. I requested copies of the photos and finally 8 days later received them. The dog toy was one of my fiancés brand new tennis balls that he brought in for the girls to play with, and the dog hair "everywhere" in the apartment was my fiancés hair located on the pillows and head area of the bed. To top of off management said someone tried to get a hold of me that Monday to inform me, which was total BS because I called the front desk line between 6-7am and by that time the $500 charge was pending. When I get my new CC I will need to still deal with this and update payment on multiple accounts. Oh and to top it off the hide a bed has yellow stains on the white sheets. Unit 626 for those wondering. My sister did not want to complain because overall they seemed clean and it was only a stain. I brought this up to Ellie, the Supervisor, to which I kid you not she replied "Yes, I've heard that before". Then do something about it! I then grew concerned that the stain was from previous people and they had a dog that peed on the sheets. No one has apologized for the assumptions targeted towards me and resulted in 4 days of follow up with ongoing issues to get my new CC setup.. No one has offered to make this right. The fingers get pointed in different directions. There needs to be liability by the owner of the condo for stained sheets and management for wrongful accusations. To make it more complicated they hire a 3rd party company to do inspections. So at this point you have the condo owner, VRBO, management at the Grandview, Windermere, their third party inspection company, and third party customer service line. WTF - no wonder no one is holding any accountability. The scary thing is, is that this can happen to anyone, and it makes me wonder how many times they've gotten away with this behavior? Based on these reviews, ample amount of times. Never staying here again, and I caution you to take images of everything if you do in order to protect yourself.

Upon arrival, we went up to park, after hours, and were rudely lectured by a staff member that where we were parking we weren't allowed. I am so thankful that my husband was nearby in the truck because had I been approached the way I was by the staff member in the parking lot I would fear for an extreme safety issue. There was ZERO parking, anywhere near the facility, we had to park a mile away and hike in (middle of the night, pouring rain out). We went to find closer parking throughout next day and still there was nothing closer. The staff at the facility was not helpful and extremely rude about the parking, with no empathy that it was completely pouring rain and guests having to walk GREAT lengths just to get to their rooms. It notes that parking is tight and most units allowed 1 car maximum well this wasn't the case, there was 0 parking anywhere even along the street and across the street were completely full! We called the 509-682-2582 provided to speak to someone regarding our concerns and ask about cancelling the rest of the trip we were, again, rudely spoken to about our reservations, this time was about us making the reservations through a third-party (VRBO) and that they couldn't help with our stay. But all the paperwork I have is from Grandviewonthelake (their website) not VRBO - I thought that I made the reservation through their website. At the end of the first day we opted to just get a different hotel that had parking for their guests and staff that were friendly and accommodating. I would not EVER recommend this hotel to anyone nor Windermere Vacation rentals to just add to the terrible guest experience.
