I have been using MGC for years, from a recommendation from a friend. I've tried multiple services before them and had always felt underwhelmed (especially for the cost) and not keen on their product uses. MGC surpasses quality and expectations every time! Their helpers are courteous and kind, and truly put love and attention into my home that I wish I had the time to do myself (which is impossible to do working full-time with 2 kids and 2 dogs and a husband somewhere in there). Every time I enter my home after a cleaning the smell of FRESH is what I notice the most- not house cleaner. I used Marin Green Clean for the first time when my normal housekeepers were on vacation. In case the workers were Latina, I wrote down some instructions in Spanish (with lots of help from Google Translate!) i'm also very particular about not using commercial cleaners or fragranced products and the two women followed my instructions very well. My landlord was kind enough to have the roof replaced. However, the roofing company was quite inexact and nonchalant about informing her as to what I needed to tarp because the roofer said the roof is an "open roof," (Eichler), and he only told me to tarp the beds and computers. Not only did dirt and other debris fall . . . but a massive amount of water also fell from the beams. I was really tired and stressed out about the mess. Erika fit me in with little notice, and the team who came were very friendly, kind and thorough . . . one of them is Erika's mom! She is really cute and fun to talk with! The only reason I'm giving three stars instead of two is because everyone involved was so darn nice. Setting that aside, it was probably one of the worst cleanings I've had. Nothing was conscientiously put back or away, I found dirty dishes in cupboards even (yuck!). Plus, super annoying having to go around the house for an hour after they left just putting things back the way they were before. They broke our dishwasher but didn't mention it and I had to figure out why it suddenly didn't close all the way. (Ended up being no big deal, a wheel had fallen off and was easily fixed, just would have liked to be notified). Very nice ladies but a shame I can't possibly imagine giving them business again. I could see them being pretty adequate at doing a move out cleaning perhaps. UPDATE: Upgraded my review by one star after Erika heard about my experience and took time out of her vacation to call me this morning. First off, such a sweet and patient woman, she listened to everything I had to say. Second, she's gone ABOVE AND BEYOND with scheduling another cleaning to make sure I'm a happy client. Definitely giving this business a second chance after experiencing the care, kindness and professionalism exhibited. Erika is very professional and gave me a reasonable quote for a cleaning every other week. The first cleaning was on time and sparkling. After that however, problems became regular. First red flag: they forgot to put me on the schedule for my second cleaning. Ok, mistakes happen, no biggie. But over the course of 4 months of service there were just too many issues... once I came home to find a piece of cabinetry molding on the ground, another time I found my toothbrush had been knocked into the laundry basket, and finally a mirror was knocked off the wall and just sat on the ground. All of these things happened without explanation, apology, or correction. And when asked, the crew said simply denied doing it. The quality of the cleaning fell off over time too. Bottom line, how can I trust you in my home if you can't be honest about minor things like cabinet molding and a mirror? UPDATE OCT 14 -Erika called me directly to apologize, and that she's since hired another manager and fired a couple staff people that were causing problems. I think her calling is good indication that improvements are real. I can't vouch for the improvements, but her reaching out to me is a good sign. read more

Erica is a top-notch business owner and as long as she's running Wee Clean Marin, I will never use another house cleaning service! Having a ruptured disc in my lower back makes bending over nearly impossible at times, making tasks like scrubbing floors and toilets nothing short of a nightmare. On one particular messy, dusty, dirty day last year, I searched for house cleaners in Marin. Erica's team saved my ass (and lower back) on so many occasions, starting first with a nightmare of a sty and whipping it into gleaming, refreshing perfection. After that, I was sold! The fact is that she works so hard to make her business "personal" -- inspecting each job and touching base with clients, face to face, not only makes the whole process 100% less embarrassing (for me anyway), but at this point, I've made a new friend. I have since moved to a new location and her team did my move-in cleaning, as well as my move-out cleaning at the old place, and I got 100% of my deposit back! Every inch of the place was cleaned, down to the baseboards which looked like they'd been freshly painted. I could go on and on. Erika, a very nice young business woman..came in person to give the estimate. It always makes me a bit nervous after getting an estimate...for professional, green cleaning...then have it left open that it could take a little longer than the estimated worker hours, as I like a maximum! Anyway, they did a good cleaning job (including the stove) and it went only a little over that. We had moved out of our small rental home, and wanted to leave it move in ready which it was sans paint job. She charged me the quoted amount. My wife would seriously consider using their services for regular home cleaning, even though she did like Molly Maid's work in the past. read more

We've used WEE Clean Marin for over three years, at both our Mill Valley home and office. I absolutely adore Erica and all her team, I feel like it's having family come over to clean and we completely trust them. Their cleanliness standards are very high, we just adore their attention to detail. They are incredibly flexible with our traveling schedule, and forgive us for our huge messes if they ever happen to come post-event. They ask for a grace period of arriving 30 minutes before or after the designated time, which makes sense to us, since every house is different every time and they are incredibly considerate at cleaning in whichever area of the house we aren't using (if we're home when they come). I find their prices very reasonable and recommend them to everyone we know. We pay a flat rate for each time, knowing that sometimes they'll be done quickly and sometimes they'll spend twice as long, if our house needs it. If there are any specific requests or things we need done, we email the owner and she relays the information to the cleaners. My Spanish is decent, but not good enough to explain in detail what we need, though many of the cleaners speak English well enough to understand me. read more

I hired Wee Clean Marin to do a post-move out rental cleaning of a 1600sq foot house in San Anselmo. They were SO easy to work with. Picked up the phone on the first call, arranged the time/day, I left them a check, and bob's your uncle. Super clean house (inside of the refrigerator? sparkling! We have been using Wee Clean for the past few months and we have been very happy with them compared to other companies we have used in the past. Erica came to our home and gave us an evaluation and we agreed upon a set fee for bi-monthly cleanings. We use our home for Air BnB, so it is nice to have a reliable and consistent company come in and clean for us. We previously used Molly Maid and they were a disaster. Wee Clean has been my weekly housecleaner for almost three years - and they get my house cleaner than anyone I've ever worked with (and I have high standards)! Very thorough and dependable and Erika has great integrity. I have sensitivities to commercial cleaning products and require people who use green products (I actually supply my own, which is no problem). My only caveat is communication and consistency, as some of the girls speak only Spanish and I do not. While the office staff and Erika have great communication skills, I think, because Erika has so many clients (a testament to their work!), that either the cleaners forget or have a hard time keeping track of each house. I have suggested they have a translated list of what needs to be done each week, so that I don't have to remind them periodically. Having said that, the women who clean my house are totally trustworthy and so sweet and pleasant...and while they work so hard, their attitudes are always positive. In the rare event that I do have to be home, it's a very pleasant experience. I have worked with many different housecleaners over the years, but never has anyone cleaned as thoroughly as Wee Clean. Erika herself, the business owner, is smart and kind and professional. Her staff confirms appointments weekly through email which is awesome. Yes, things will break from time to time, as they have with every cleaner I've worked with historically - but Erika has always offered to replace or compensate, no matter how minor. read more

I met with Erika and she walked through my house with me and quoted $200. but thought it might vary. Then, I hired her and she sent two women to my house. I was there when they cleaned. At the time, there were only three out of six beds that needed to be made and the house was cleaner than I thought it would be when they arrived. Nonetheless, the two women were VERY SLOW and finally finished. Although I gave Erika a thorough checklist, and went through it with her, she apparently didn't go over it with her people. Erika never came to check on the job. There were a pair of rubber gloves down my garbage disposal and several things were still dirty. The checklist was never checked. To top it all off, Erika billed me $240 despite the slack job and her earlier quote. read more
