When you actually calculate the cost of eating out plus groceries it's really not that much more to have nice folks take care of everything. We now have lunches and dinners augmented with some fruits and veggies from Farm Fresh to You, we eat out far less, are on our dietary plan closer to 100% vs closer to 0%, love the food we get and even see Bodhi or Shannon when food is delivered and always have a nice chat. This service is well worth it and makes our lives better!

We had rented a house for our…read moregroup of 14, and Susan worked with us to meet all of our needs which included healthy buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and even a cocktail party with additional staff for passed apps. She took care of all the set up and clean up, so we could fully focus on our sessions and without having to worry about the kitchen. My favorite thing about Susan is her food philosophy. She only sources organic and local ingredients - and I mean really local since she gets many of her ingredients from the San Rafael farmers market. Her menu is colorful, nutritious, and plant forward, which to me is super important when trying to keep a team energized through 8+ hour meetings! You can tell that she cooks for her clients the same way she would cook for her own family. She doesn't take any shortcuts and puts so much love in her food that you can feel and taste it! Susan is also extremely professional. She went above and beyond in coordinating directly with our venue's property manager to become an approved caterer for the site, and organized site visits before our offsite to ensure everything would run smoothly. During our offsite, she was respectful of the flow of our agenda and was flexible when we fell off schedule (which we often did). My team was utterly impressed by Susan. Not only was her food out of this world, but she is kind and professional, and everyone was very comfortable having her basically in the same room with us for the majority of our meeting. She was personable and easy to talk to, which made it easy to share with her my vision for the event, from which she had so many thoughtful suggestions and even event planning tips. We exchanged a couple more emails after that to fine tune the details. On the day of the event, she was on time and put together beautiful platters of food. She suggested an Italian theme (since the bride is getting married in Italy), so Susan prepared pizzettas and pita chips with various dips (her harisa dip was a crowd favorite) for appetizers, a beautiful salad with grapefruit and little gem lettuce, handmade pasta with kale pesto, roasted butternut squash with a yogurt sauce, braised chicken thighs with lemon herb sauce and a decadent flourless chocolate cake with lavender infused whipped cream for dessert. Everything was made from scratch (pasta, pita chips, everything!) and from fresh, in-season ingredients from the farmer's market. The food was tasty and healthful (so many compliments from the ladies at dinner), exactly what I wanted for our wellness-themed bachelorette party. I parked in the first open driveway, the same block as Oddcha, immediately after passing the store. Oddcha is located inside the archway gate of French Quarter on the left. A walk up window, with staff perched high closed behind, is where you retrieve your order. You can order in person from a screen or on their mobile site for pick up - I did the app. The ready by time was minimal and my order was ready when I arrived. I ordered the Twilight Taro ($7) with oat milk ($.80) and double boba ($1.50). The drink is a non caffeinated combination of taro and purple yams with fresh milk. When received, it did not resemble the picture from the menu. The drink was creamy, slightly thick, taro/purple yam forward, very flavorful and perfect with the less sweet option. I prefer no ice, I was only allowed a less ice option. The ice level seemed regular, consuming 3/4 of the cup space. They honored the double boba as each sip had ample boba to enjoy. With no one at the walk up window when I arrived, the staff was not proactive checking in on me. I had to knock on the window to have someone eventually acknowledge me. Not great considering two employees watched as I walked up and stopped in front of the window looking back at them. Besides that, it was an easy, flavorful experience. Not sure if I'd return, mainly due to parking. I am glad I checked out Oddcha, I was not disappointed in the drink chosen.

I ordered a Thai Twister with less sugar and ice, fully expecting it was a Thai tea slush (which is actually a unique drink). Why wouldn't it be when there's cheese cream along the cup edges like the oddcha Matcha, and that they offer a basic Thai tea for the exact same price? Thoroughly disappointed when it was just a Thai MT with some cream cheese spread. I asked an employee to make sure, and they confirmed it was just a thai tea with cheese lol. The thai tea is objectively good, but then again it's REALLY hard to mess up thai tea. Perhaps their other drinks are more of a hit, but it's pretty hard to justify coming here as a non-local who lives across the bridge.

This is my second visit here, but this is my first review (I forgot to review my last visit!). But…read morethis time there were more of us! This place is very nice all around. Good location, plenty of parking across the street in a public garage, nice décor and ambiance, wonderful staff, and a good menu, although it is light on vegetarian options; but if you are not a picky vegetarian, you can still leave happy and fed. There is plenty of indoor seating, and even a nice side patio protected from sun and wind; however, being alongside 3rd Street, a rather busy street, it can be a bit noisy. As nice as the day was, we opted to dine inside so we could chat. They have some good appetizers, and we chose the onion rings and the must-try Ooey Cheesy Balls (5 fried potato balls, mozzarella, parmesan, parsley, house-made smoked jalapeno aioli). The onion rings are plentiful and not at all greasy, a great start to the meal, but the anchor of the apps (for me at least!) are the Cheesy balls. They are different: basically mashed potato balls with cheese inside, deep-fried, and delicious! The house-made smoked jalapeño aioli is awesome too, and it's my preferred dip for the onion rings. For the entrees, I tried a pizza for once, after seeing many good reviews. I tried the Blue pizza (Garlic & herb olive oil, mozzarella, blue cheese, spinach, artichoke, mushroom, red onion). We also had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich (Butter lettuce, tomato, fresh slaw, pickle slices, house- made smoked jalapeno aioli (mild), brioche bun), the Chicken Salad Sandwich (Poached chicken, celery, parsley, dill, lettuce, tomato, pickled red onion, mayonnaise, focaccia bread) with an added mashed potatoes for a side, and a Chicken Pesto Panini (Pesto, roasted bell pepper, spinach, provolone, mayonnaise, focaccia bread). All the meals were very fresh, and the food was great! The Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich was a tower to look at, with two breasts as the main feature. The other sandwiches were well liked as well, but I know I was the lucky one with the pizza for lunch. If you like blue cheese, this is a great pizza you don't often find elsewhere. The toppings were just right, though I wouldn't have minded a bit more blue cheese, and the olive oil base instead of a red sauce was perfect for letting the flavors really come through, with the cheese, meaty chunks of mushrooms, and onions all balancing each other. The crust was a separate delight, a very thin sourdough type with a crust worthy of eating on its own - and it was! Sadly, between the appetizers and the entrees, there was no room for a dessert, and we all took home some of our lunches, and two of us brought home food for others! Always share the goodness . . . Can't wait for the next visit!
