We would have eaten more if we weren't already stuffed! It was delicious!

Kirstin made a beautiful and DELICIOUS chocolate and whipped cream cake for my husband's birthday. The entire transaction with Kirstin was pleasant and smooth. We spent the night at Cavallo Point and Kirstin delivered the cake so I could keep it a surprise. My husband was tickled with the cake and thought it was so good, he had seconds! It was a pleasure working with Kirstin and I highly recommend her for your cake needs!

I ordered a lemon Merengue cake for my son's 14th Birthday. I was not expecting any birthday saying on it because it was merengue. She wrote his name out in white chocolate made it stand on the top of the cake! She did not charge me extra! She just made it look so special! The cake was absolutely delicious and moist. My son loved it! He said it was the best lemon cakes he's had. Highly recommend her! Kind and talented! So happy to have found Economy pie and bakery.

What a find! I had planned what I thought was the perfect weekend at Cavallo Point to celebrate my partner's birthday with her family and friends. Then we found Kirstin and Economy Pie and perfection got even better. Kirstin (who, like my partner Leslie, has a Swedish ancestry) was so excited to help us celebrate. She made 2 pies - one nectarine/plum and one coconut cream which was somehow gluten- and dairy-free (but we have no idea how) for our first night pizza party. The pies were out of this world - perfect crust on the fruit pie and not too sweet. The CC was to die for - I will move heaven and earth if I have to but as god is my witness, I will never eat another baker's coconut cream pie as long as I live. The next night was the show-stopper. Kirstin made her version of a Swedish Princess Cake - you'll have to taste it to believe it but the presentation itself was a crown jewel. The "crown" on the cake was a delicate sugar lace gold crown surrounding the most delicious cake and the best almond marzipan I've ever tasted. Kirstin was prompt in all her communications, she worked out the logistics effortlessly and the 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies I ordered "for the kids" kept us all happy right through weekend, including a hike through Muir Woods. Pro-Tip to you, Kirstin - raise your prices! Seriously, I live in the East Bay and will not hesitate to drive to Sausalito for cakes or pies ever again. Tak! (That's "thanks" in Swedish )

Kirstin was a pleasure to work with. Very responsive and accommodating! We ordered 3 pies for Pi Day and they were enjoyed by the whole office! They went quick! I highly recommend her pies! Support the locals!

Great customer service and quick communication/response time. Kirstin made a gluten free baby shower cake ('sweet as can Bee' theme) that was exactly like the photo I sent. Everyone loved it. Looked amazing, tasted amazing and at a very reasonable price. I would 100 percent order from Reverly again.

    3- layer Chocolate mousse cake

BEAUTIFUL cakes! I was able to request 2 custom to made order cakes (Chocolate Mousse and Thres Leches) in a 24 hour period. She accommodated all my requests and was super flexible on the pick up times. Everyone was raving about how yummy the frosting was. Definitely recommend ordering a cake OR at least trying it!

The two celebrants. (Sorry for the low quality video still.)

Kirstin went above and beyond my wildest expectations! I had a doozy of an order for her and she checked off each request effortlessly. It's difficult to find a local bakery who can create both a beautiful AND delicious cake, let alone a gluten-free one. On top of that, the cake was for two birthday celebrants on Chinese New Year. If that wasn't already enough requests, we also needed to have the cake delivered. She offers many flavors and we decided on the lemon verbena with orange blossom buttercream. We couldn't have been more pleased. The cake was superbly and delicately flavored with the perfect amount of sweetness. Communicating with her was, well, a piece of cake. I am so blessed to have found Kirstin, and would highly recommend her to bake your cake for any occasion, big or small.

Sugar cookies with frosting and cute details!

My co-worker, Diana and I placed an order with Kirstin and it was such a pleasant experience! Diana initially reached out to Kristen during the last week of January to ask if she makes custom cookies. For Valentine's Day, we wanted to hand out custom cookies to our department's staff, faculty & students that said "ECE Loves You". Kirstin was very responsive and took the time to make sure our order was exactly how we wanted it. We had also reached out to bigger bakeries and cafes but they took DAYS to respond. Kirstin was so prompt and professional so we decided to go with Economy Pie & Baked Goods! She delivered 9 dozen sugar cookies with such intricate, beautiful details, including the frosting that said "ECE Loves You". Delivery was set for 9:30am and she was right on time. The business does not take credit cards but they do accept PayPal so the billing/paying was very easy too. We will definitely work with Kirstin again for future events. Thank you for our delicious, adorable cookies!

    a cake on a pedestal

Kirstin made my sister's SIP birthday celebration a lovely experience. She was so easy to work with, she responded quickly, sent updates and hand delivered an absolutely gorgeous cake in full protective gear to my sister's doorstep. Highly recommend!

Kirstin makes AMAZING cakes! I contacted her about making a cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday, after sampling one of her cakes at another party. We communicated through email and her responses were prompt and detailed. I sent her a few pictures of designs I liked and we settled on a 2 tier cowgirl theme for our barnyard bash. I chose white cake with lemon for one tier, and chocolate with cookie butter for the other. We picked up the cake the night before the party and I was absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. Not only was it exactly what we wanted, it tasted great too. It was a big hit. I highly recommend Economy Pie and hope to work with Kirstin again.

I ordered the giant cinnamon roll and a large oatmeal cookie to take on the road. Unfortunately, neither lived up to my expectations. The cinnamon roll was more like plain bread with very little cinnamon flavor or frosting, and the oatmeal cookie tasted more like flour than oats or spices. As an SF native who's tried a lot of great bakeries, this one just didn't stand out. I really wanted to love it because the setting is so relaxing and beautiful, but the baked goods fell short for me.

Outside seating was relaxing and the views complimented the evening. Nice to see staff members with smiles on their faces, don't always see that at a restaurant! Fharid was the server, ever attentive, but just enough! What's important...the food! Romaine Caesar Salad - just enough of the flavorful dressing to compliment the salad. Roasted Half Chicken - tender and absolutely delicious. Portions were very filling. A wonderful homemade peach mint chutney enhanced the flavor option if you so wished. I love chutney, wished I could buy a bottle to take home! Dark Chocolate Cake - words can't describe how good it was! Dark chocolate cake, sour cherries, fresh whipped cream - a piece of chocolate art. Hated to destroy the dessert, but I did! It was decided I should meet the baker. She came out and I thanked her again for the beautiful and flavorful surprise. The Bungalow Kitchen: Great evening, wonderful food, atmosphere is superb, lucky to live nearby.

The Manager Peter really appears to be on point. My dry aged bone in New York strip had real dry aged flavor. It was a little under seasoned and with no salt and pepper on the table I just ate it. My GF really enjoyed her filet. The one thing we both said was that both of our mains and both of our sides were served on the cool side. They were at the temperature that most meals are at when we are at the end. The corn side was served on the cob; ridiculous. JUST DON'T! The menu is small. All of the employees were instructed to tell EVERYONE that they just added 12 new items to the menu. Which means that they threw out Michael Mina's menu and replaced it with their own. There was something indescribable, though, that hinted that they rely on the picturesque views to make up for food that is "good" - but not "great." Let's start on a positive note. You can't beat the view. Our server was well informed about the menu, attentive, and friendly - but unwilling to help too much with the menu selections. "Everything is good" is a bit of a pet peeve of mine but I'm not holding this against the rating of this restaurant as that's pretty server-specific. We started with a half dozen local oysters on the half shell which were actually amazing. Perhaps the most mild tasting oysters I have ever had and served with a champagne mignonette, cocktail sauce, and fresh horseradish - all of which paired nicely. For my main course, I had the petrale sole - a very mild, delicate, Pacific flatfish. While flaky and tender, it did lack flavor and was served with some relatively uninspired accompaniments - a saffron rice and some roasted vegetables which was mostly green beans and celery. One of my friends ordered the paella which he said was "great." Overall very decent experience on par with so many other coastal restaurants that know they can fill the seats with the amazing views alone. I would definitely come back - but would likely order something different... except for the oysters - those were a must to order again!
