I feel it would be an understatement to just say that Tony exceeds my expectations every time. Guys, idk about all of you but I was burned out and honestly scared to trust a new hairdresser after a couple bad experiences elsewhere. I moved here in 2017 and had been looking for the right hairdresser when I found Tony in 2021. After seeing another guy who gave me a "wet ponytail" haircut (don't even ask), I made my way into Tony's chair. I'll never visit another salon! If I ever move, I'll be making trips back here for my hair! My hair has never looked better, but not only that- it is so much healthier, softer, and stronger than it's been in years! I could not be happier! I can honestly say that for the first time in my life, I am getting haircuts that make me feel more confident and genuinely compliment the shape of my face. At my last appointment, Tony performed a thermal reconditioning (Japanese hair straightening) on my hair and can I just say that it very well might be the best money I've ever spent? I was totally elated to see the online booking option with detailed service and price list. I loathe going to salons and being totally surprised by the cost at the end of the service. So much so - if I don't know the service costs up front, I won't even go. I was greeted warmly by Jacque and her husband. They were super friendly and inviting. So was Michael! I had a wash, condition and press. The shampoo was pretty good and the conditioner was nice and tingly During the condition Michael placed a hot towel over my head and then a shower cap. I am very used to having a shower cap after a conditioner to let it soak in a little before rinsing, so I had no reason to think this was an additional service to a wash and condition. My hair was styled in soft curls with care and not too many passes of the flat iron. When it was time to pay, I was told that the service would actually be $15 more than what I booked because of the hot towel. I was really thrown off and it immediately ruined the great experience I had until that point. If I had been told up front, or given the opportunity to agree to that, it would be different. However, not mentioning until time to pay feels a bit dishonest because now I am forced to pay no matter what. This is the only reason why I probably won't return because the there is no actual transparency of pricing when booking online. I would recommend the salon for their work cleanliness and free parking but just advise to be super clear on what a customer's cost would be.

Client Inconvenience: The installation appointment ran an hour late. When I arrived, the hair was still wet and not pre-styled, suggesting a last-minute rush. Due to the significant sizing and quality issues, I had to remove the unit after just two days, effectively wasting the $250 installation fee. Issues with the Resolution Process (Oct 6 - Dec 1) *I returned the defective unit on October 6th for correction. The following two months were marked by a severe lack of professionalism and communication: * Failure to Communicate: Gia missed deadlines (including Oct 29) without initiating contact. I was consistently forced to reach out for updates. * Wasting Time: She only informed me on October 30th that she was having difficulty achieving the ash blonde color. She should have communicated this vital information immediately so we could decide on a new plan, instead of delaying the process. * Further Error: To resolve the color, she offered to dye the wig back to black. However, she colored it jet black, despite knowing my natural hair is 1B (off black), making it impossible to wear as a U-part unit with my natural hair left out. Refusal to Refund & Confusing Offers * After two months without a usable product, I requested a refund for the $300 wig construction fee. * Refusal: Gia refused the refund, claiming the time spent was on "modifications made at no charge." This time was spent correcting her original professional errors (poor sizing, loose tracks, and wrong color). * Misleading Resolution: She also insisted her offer to remake a new unit was strictly a "model promotion" and not a resolution for the faulty wig. This contradicts her prior text messages, where she offered to remake the unit as she stated in texts "when I'm able to make the new unit with my hair and the color you want, we can move forward with that and there's no charge if you still want to do the promotion." * The initial product was faulty due to her sizing error, the quality failed within 48 hours, and the resolution process was unacceptable. I received a defective product, wasted the installation fee, and spent two months chasing updates. I would not recommend this service due to the lack of accountability, respect for the client's time, and the refusal to offer a reasonable refund for a failed custom product.
