Love this place! A lovely couple owns and runs this storefront. They have beautiful antiques and…read moreare very knowledgeable about each piece. This is my favorite place to stop by when I am upstate.

We were driving through Warwick, NY, this afternoon on Route 17A, and saw this large corner…read moreproperty with a sign declaring it to be Warwick House of Antiques. (Parking is around back, accessed from Orchard St. - see http://www.warwickhouseantiques.com/ for more info.) When I walked in, I was greeted by one of the owners (well, I assume she is one of the owners), who told me that the store was the entire first floor, and to enjoy looking around. She said if I had any questions, I could ask her, but she wasn't pushy and didn't hover. So I really could enjoy looking around! The first thing I noticed was an entire cabinet of Skookum Dolls, from the 1920s to 1940s. I wasn't familiar with them, but having seen the name at Warwick House of Antiques, I googled it and now I know about them. (See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skookum_doll if you are as curious as I am?) This shop is well organized, and all of the merchandise is labelled, so you know exactly what you are looking at. They obviously know their business. Besides the Skookum Dolls, the other things I particularly noticed were: many vintage Japanese robes, jackets, and textiles; lots of Japanese paintings and other items; paintings; bottles; vintage lead miniatures of soldiers, ice skaters, and animals; some stereo viewer slides; Murano glass; a Stangl plate; furniture (both Asian and American); an antique fire extinguisher; Shenango China Inca Ware Nestle cups and saucers; crocheted doilies; jewelry; interesting expensive pocketbooks; Japanese swords; porcelain figurines; and even a carved jade figurine. Don't expect to walk in here and get something cheap because they don't know what it is; they know exactly what they are selling, and will sell it to you for a fair price. On some of the more expensive items (such as a Ward's Lime Syrup Dispenser) they have documentation to show what the item goes for on eBay and similar sites. Warwick House of Antiques is worth a trip!

INEPT!! Sized my rings WRONG!!! Can't even size a ring?!…read more Update to first review: I had to spend $6k at a reputable jeweler to fix my rings & get the setting I wanted. In doing so, I found out that I am wearing THREE (3) different sized rings thanks to Forever Jewelers sizing them wrong!!! I wear a 5.5. They made the new setting in a 6 & charged $600 to size my band but its a 7.25!! I tried to dispute the charge with my credit card & they argued it. I tried emailing them & they argued that I didn't give them a chance to fix the sizing issue. After making a ring I did not want, TWICE & screwing up the sizes, why would I trust them with my stones again?! I am so upset with what they did & their lack of customer service that I am filing paperwork to sue them in small claims court. I begged them to please take their incorrect setting back & they refuse to even answer my request. Instead, they show me a CAD drawing & claim that's what I ordered. They claim they have a receipt saying they made a 6 3/4. 6 3/4!! It's a 6 & a 7.25! They never showed me the CAD drawing during the order process!! I never knew one existed till They used it as their 'defense' with my American Express. BEWARE! Go to a certified Jeweler instead. if they can't size a ring, what else Can't they get right?

Forever Jewelers did such an amazing job on a repair for my engagement ring. It looks brand new…read more They are very friendly and trustworthy and I will use them for everything going forward.
