INEPT!! Sized my rings WRONG!!! Can't even size a ring?! Update to first review: I had to spend $6k at a reputable jeweler to fix my rings & get the setting I wanted. In doing so, I found out that I am wearing THREE (3) different sized rings thanks to Forever Jewelers sizing them wrong!!! I wear a 5.5. They made the new setting in a 6 & charged $600 to size my band but its a 7.25!! I tried to dispute the charge with my credit card & they argued it. I tried emailing them & they argued that I didn't give them a chance to fix the sizing issue. After making a ring I did not want, TWICE & screwing up the sizes, why would I trust them with my stones again?! I am so upset with what they did & their lack of customer service that I am filing paperwork to sue them in small claims court. I begged them to please take their incorrect setting back & they refuse to even answer my request. Instead, they show me a CAD drawing & claim that's what I ordered. They claim they have a receipt saying they made a 6 3/4. 6 3/4!! It's a 6 & a 7.25! They never showed me the CAD drawing during the order process!! I never knew one existed till They used it as their 'defense' with my American Express. BEWARE! Go to a certified Jeweler instead. if they can't size a ring, what else Can't they get right? read more

Moved to Warwick a year ago and discovered Forever Jeweler's and quickly became smitten with their products. I was quite certain that I would buy all of my jewerly for my wife from there. That all changed when an $1,100 ring that I bought my wife had the stone come loose after two months. Upon taking it in to have them look at it, they stated that my wife "must be hard on jewerly". We let the slight go since they tightened the prongs free of charge. Well, the stone fell out about 3 months after that visit and when takaing it the implication was once again made that it was my wife's fault! Of course they charged us this time, a nominal fee, but it was the implication that a woman whom I have known for over a decade to wear all ranges over jewerly everyday and has never had a piece damaged is resposnible for the loose setting - that was enough and I will not go back again. read more

My fiance bought my engagement ring from Forever Jewelers and for a guy who hates jewelry, especially Jewelry stores he was thrilled with his experience and the customer service so it was a no brainer that they would get our return business when it was time to purchase our wedding bands. Catherine was so helpful and accommodating. We saved up all our repairs and decided to scrap some old jewelry to put towards our bands and she took it all in stride. She also went out of her way explaining different rings and looking up my fiance's past purchase to share all options. Catherine and the staff were also so accommodating in special ordering two bands for my fiance with the understanding that he would be returning one as they didn't have what he was looking for in stock. I try to shop locally, and for many years made fairly regular visits to this shop. Admittedly, I never purchased large ticket items, but regularly (2-4x/year) made purchases in the $100-200 range. Nice selection, nice turnover of product, lots of unique and tasteful items. I was turned off recently, though, when I needed to get a repair on a pair of earrings purchased here that my daughter had only work a few times. She is very careful with her things, so I really saw it as a defect that it should break so easily. I was a bit surprised, then, when I was being charged over thirty dollars to have it fixed. When I raised that point, the gentlemen (owner?) reduced the price to somewhere around $25, but was **really** rude about the whole thing and not at all apologetic that a product they sold was of such poor quality. I honestly cared less about paying than about how rudely I was treated. I understand that labor isn't free, but can we be nice and come to an agreement? I paid just to get out of there, but to me one of the big advantages of shopping locally is getting better service. Not true here, sadly. I haven't returned since. read more

When making a purchase i have gotten into the habit of writing reviews and found it to be helpful, unfortunately i dont write as many as i should but, i felt compelled to for Forever Jewelers. A couple of weeks ago i had taken a few days off to shop for an engagement ring, Forever was not the first store i went to and had actually already seen a couple of rings elsewhere before visiting them. I live in Orange County and saw they had good reviews and decided to give them a shot. Nice warm store front as soon as i drove in and from i what i could tell they had nice inventory. Anyhow i was greeted by the owner (Moshee? - i apologize i because i probably misspelled it) as soon as i walked in, we discussed what i was looking for and he began to show me inventory. Before even doing so he gave me a lesson on diamond buying with props and all lol (now i like i hope everyone who goes shopping for a diamond ring was already somewhat educated in this from plenty of reading on the internet) but i didnt mind and he even went over some things i wasnt aware of...a full course basically. He wasnt pushy at all, just a real informative gentleman. Anyhow after seeing a few really nice rings at some reasonable prices, i went on to tell him about the other two i had already seen elsewhere and was interested in purchasing unless he had something similar and would have truly considered purchasing since he was a local merchant. Anyhow he did not have the same type of rings although he could have had it made , i just didnt have the time to do so since i wanted to have the ring by Christmas eve and it was too short of notice. Either way Moshee was gracious enough to look at the other rings since i told him i had pictures of them...he did not even try once to downplay them or criticize them like a typical competitor would. He was honest and told me he would not be able to match at it at the moment, he asked me the price and then eventually took the time to even to go over price charts for stones/bands and cost to jewelers to prove to me and basically advise me to purchase the ring from the other jeweler because it was a great deal!...WHO DOES THAT? Listen i was floored, i mean really impressed and humbled. I'm 50 years old and have dealt with hundreds of merchants and i can honestly say that Moshee was a true gentleman, it was a true pleasure dealing with him and I believe he is as honest as they come for a jeweler / merchant and that is really hard to come by these days. Unfortunately since i already had another ring in my heart, i didnt purchase from Forever, however i wouldnt hesitate on returning to them for future purchases and i would strongly recommend this store. I went to a couple of other jewelers in Orange County and felt like just another customer being peddled but not here. Feels exactly like what it is a family run business unlike the box jeweleres of the world. At Forever i got a good vibe and from my research theyve been in business for many years so between that and my dealing with the owner, i can tell they have quality items and would stand behind theyre merchandise if there was a problem.
