I visited BFree due to a pop-up event taking place inside the store. The boutique is super cute, very fun, and has a good amount of products without feeling too crowded. One of the staff members gave out thimbles of a pomegranate champagne drink, was was very nice. There's also a clearance section on their small upper level, which was fun to pick through. While they do have a lot of clothes for sale, there's plenty of cute little items like candles, stickers, and jewelry. I found a few unique items that ended up leaving with me, so I would definitely stop by again while in the area. read more

There are many things wrong with this establishment, but the two that stand out the most: They clearly have no idea how to display items - with many displays bringing items to 6' high and squishing items together so as not to be able to see them easily to find what you need. It is overwhelming to try to even begin shopping here. Most irritating, the staff ignores you completely, doesn't say hi, or act interested at all in helping customers, but is ready to take your money as you overpay for items that can be found easily online or elsewhere. For example the older gentleman behind the counter who couldn't even look up from his phone as customers walk in and right back out the door. There is no appeal to shopping here. read more

I've been in the store a couple of times. The first time I went in there I wasn't greeted or anything. The older man there was rather rude and was on his cellphone the whole time. I just let it go since all of us have some bad days. I work in sales so I could understand that. Except the next time that I went in with the same man working, I was treated with attitude and disrespect. I went there a third time, in desperate need of finding something cute to wear. A young lady was there and she was extremely friendly and helpful. so happy this boutique opened! Love the selection! you could pretty much guarantee that you can always find something super cute to wear here even if you need it for that same night! I came in with my whining kids and to my surprise they were offered organic low sugar "healthy" lollis while I shopped! My son had a balloon with him that he accidentally let go of, not only did the (strong handsome man/my son's hero) help get it down for my son but he gave him an extra long piece of ribbon to tie on it so that even if it went up to the ceiling again my son would be able to grab it himself! After that I was hooked! I am in my mid 30's and they have great selection of things for me to look great and feel young and sexy! Why shop anywhere else :) read more

My experience here was SO BAD I felt the overwhelming urge to literally download this app, sign up, and write an entire spiel just to share. Today was my birthday and so a few friends brought me to Warwick. After a lovely time at the conscious fork (wonderful food for a decent price) and a stop in the cookie bar next door (where the very kind woman complimented our auras) and the candy shop (that's adorably decorated) we wandered into bfree simply because it was next door. Just like most shops in Warwick, I figured we'd mostly window shop, maybe buy something small to support small businesses. It was quiet and the man in the front didn't even say hello but regardless we decided to spend a few minutes here. So as my four other pals began to wander around picking up stuff to buy, two of us stayed by the dog on the couch (which now I know is antique and expensive). We pet him for a little, and the man behind the counter only glanced up from his phone to give us dirty looks... I was getting a very odd vibe. When one of my friends asked the dog's name, he simply stated "peach" and ignored how we complimented Peach despite being only a few feet away. I had chalked it up to be whatever was going on on his phone...Eventually one friend called us to the big mirror in the back to take a mirror photo, one friend wearing a hat and another walking down the little stairs with a find on her arm. And right before we finally got all of us together to take the picture the man on his phone comes towards yelling at us saying something along the lines of we should be in here to shop. We were all a little shocked, as we really hadn't done anything that seemed inappropriate besides one of us wearing the hat for a picture... which still wasn't unbelievably wild... The hat was a little pricey for a beanie but nothing that was priceless. Then he, still holding the phone to his ear yelled again: "stop lookin' at me like I have two heads!" And as he grabs the hat out of my friend's hand and says "give me the frickin' hat". I was so mortified I walked out immediately, and it only took a minute for the others to follow. We were confused, a little angry, and in shock. Only one of us found it relatively amusing while another was ready to march back in there and give that man a piece of her mind- apparently he said "that's right" as she left. As someone who hates conflict I couldn't stop thinking about it! We hadn't been disrespectful, the only things we could've done wrong were being talking together too loudly perhaps- yet, I'm fairly certain we hadn't been- or wearing the hat. Neither one of those things hadn't warranted such a rude reaction to us taking a photo. After spending some time in the bookstore (also a place I'd recommend!) I had pretty much gotten over it. He yelled at us, whatever. Maybe he was just having a bad day. Yet, when instagram's weird algorithm showed an ad for this place I was reminded of how strange the experience was! I looked up reviews of it put of curiosity and evidently he wasn't "just having a bad day"! The man has repeatedly been rude to a variety of people, and is always on his phone! It's a relief that it wasn't us at fault. After reflecting on the other people's reviews i must say: * I wouldn't be surprised by the idea that they just chase out less trendy looking people or just hate window shoppers. My little bande de copains looked pretty comfy all in jeans- my hair wasn't looking too hot because of the rain! Regardless we looked like your average group of middle class kids in their late teens, no one I'd drive out of my establishment. * the clothes are ridiculously small. The one item I liked were their embroidered jeans, which only came in sizes so small I had figured they had to be children's! * it's very expensive for no reason! Upon walking in I saw a sheer embroidered shirt that looked exactly like the something I could buy in h&m for 15$ but here it was $50! I'm fairly sure the hat was $30! *the few positive reviews on here seem to be the owner or the owner's close friends. They seem to glorify the place too much in a way an average costumer wouldn't even think about. But that's just a theory... that random man's wife must be a size zero in everything and my goodness cell phone guy was such a charmer. I have to make a few positive points though: *the owners are evidently very proud of their store so of course their hard work ian obvious * they do have a lot of cute things! if you want anything that's in the trending in the mainstream it has it! * there's a dog! he's very a charming looking bull. Overall, even without getting kicked out for practically no good reason (I wouldn't have gone through the effort of posting this if he was really justified) I wouldn't want to go back there. The worker was rude, and the feeling in there was inappropriately tense for just a boutique. I wouldn't give them my money or time even if they did want me in their store though because how they treat others. read more

I'm not one to give negative reviews, but this experience merited sharing. Was just in this shop with a friend and her dog - after being told the shop was "dog-friendly," we browsed the selection of clothes and sat on a sofa to rest. We complimented the gentleman behind the counter on the lovely store and he told us "it's for shopping, we're not here for entertainment." We learned that the sofa was vintage and worth $3900 and that the shop is actually neither dog nor customer-friendly! I picked up on his tone and let him know that we'd be happy to leave. He turned away and we made our way out. It was unsettling and definitely not in the holiday spirit to be spoken to so rudely and passive-aggressively. i am not from the area and was staying in warwick for a week while i get furniture moved into my new place. i googled places to scope out while in the area and stumbled upon BFree. the reviews were quite concerning, i took a mental note of them and decided i would not be going there. i was around town and saw the store and thought, "but it looks so cute!! im gonna go in and if its a wreck, maybe ill be more mindful of reviews in the future". i am so glad i went in and didn't let the preconceived idea i had of it sway me! the store is super organized, welcoming, and i enjoyed the little affirmations posted around the store. the clothes and other things in the store are up to trend, high quality, and have pricing to fit a wide variety of budgets. if i find myself in warwick again, i will without a doubt go to BFree again. The store alone deserves five stars but if i could give a review to just helena, i would. helena greeted me with a smile and gave amazing customer service to the point where it didn't feel like an employee to customer interaction but as if i was talking to one of my friends. helena was polite, personable, and professional. if you don't go to BFree for the clothes, accessories, and household items, you should stop in to have the privilege to speak to helena. she is BFree's hidden gem. i wish this small business nothing but prosperity, good fortune, and wealth and i wish helena all the same plus to receive nothing but the positive energy she puts out to be constantly reciprocated back to her. read more

I usually stroll around the area while my friends shop but i entered the store today and overall i was impressed with the decor. They tried to replicate the Anthropologie store in a mini version, but the prices are almost doubled without many sales. They have no patience for the casual browser, and seem to judge customers based on their appearance. If I walk in wearing jeans and a t-shirt they follow me like a hawk...as if at any moment I might snatch one of the awesome dresses, stuff it in my crappy Gap shopping bag and sneak out. As if The women that owns the store is extremely rude and very full of herself. We just wanted to shop and she could not stop talking about herself. Not everyone is a size one lady, and wants to dress like a 20 year old. She looks very unhealthy with her underweight and is pushing clothing onto you when it does not even look good on her. The Man in the store I am assuming is her husband or a security guard who had followed us around the store pretending he was fixing clothes from a distance. I went into the fitting room to try on a few things and there he was again this time eyeing my purse as if i came in there to steal. I felt super uncomfortable. How do you even try on any clothing when all eyes are on you. He gives you a grim nasty look. Not many large sizes to choose from unless you run an star small to a small. Place seems to be catered to high school and young college girls and not the average size women. Bottom line this was a very uncomfortable and unpleasant shopping experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's a shame that there is not many places to shop at in Warwick other then some home goods type of stores. I think just two retail shops that are both terrible. Save the trip and go to a different town. read more

I have been here a # of times for gifts for my wife or friends. The staff and owner are always very pleasant and helpful. It's great that they really have a selection that is not just random junk but that each piece was curated and puposefully stocked. As a man not knowing what to go and get a woman from a large department store - being able to go here and know that it's not just random stuff - but items that have already been scrutinized for style and quality - does a lot of the work you. Prices are very reasonable and so convenient. If you are a man and wondering last minute where can I get something for a lady last minute - think of this store - makes my wife happy and is easy for me - that's a nice combo. read more

My friends and I recently went into bfree to look at clothing. An older man, who works there, was quite rude following us around the store. My one friend comes over to me to show me a shirt and he approches her ripping the shirt from her hand claiming she doesnt need to bring it from one side of the store to another and that we were up to no good. We abruptly left after being treating so rudly just trying to shop. Not only us but other people have experienced this situation and something should be done about it. read more

LOVE Bfree!!! Not only do they carry the prettiest clothing and accessories (LOVE HATS), plus extras, but everyone there is just so nice and friendly. A couple of months ago, it was one of the manager's birthdays and they had cake and HANDED it out to the customers, and it was really good cake too. A couple of weeks ago, I met the owner's dog. SO SWEET!!!!!!! She just loved ear rubs!!!!! I read another review about it not being "dog-friendly" and not sure where that person was shopping because dogs are welcome ALL the time. Last summer, during "Girls Night Out" in Warwick, it was CRAZY!!!!!! And so much FUN!! Bfree had a booth set up so women could have a makeover and they had ice cream/gelato in the store!!!!!! I'm a sucker for the soft, SOFT sweaters and tops and Bfree has some pretty soft stuff!!!! New items are coming in all the time. And did I mention the shoes????!!!!!!!!! 4 hours later and I am still in shock with the way i have been treated today at this place. a few months ago I went to Bfree and fell in love with the clothing and other things the store has. I was at that time aware of the fact that the man working there wasn't friendly at all but it didn't bother me too much at the time, I thought I found the botique that I would spend all my money at and couldn't wait for the next opportunity to go back. Today at around 8 pm a few of my friends and i stopped by after getting dinner at a nearby restaurant. Immediately as we walked in we were " greeted" by the same man from last time who didn't even take the time to put down the phone he was practically glued to (which in my opinion was very rude and unprofessional!!) to say hello or do you need help or anything. My friends and i spent a little while looking around the store and finally I found a dress i really wanted to try on, and my friend found a bralette. We both walked into the dressing room as the man at the counter was STILL on his phone. The dressing rooms have a curtain as a door. My friend trying on the bralette and i walked into different dressing rooms and began to start trying on the clothes we brought in. Almost immediately i heard the stern voice of the man at the counter saying something along the lines of "i'm going to have to ask you to leave." When i walked out of the dressing room i heard him almost yelling at my friends waiting outside the dressing room telling them that they needed to leave immediately because we had gone into the dressing rooms without asking for assistance and because we brought our bags into them. He hung up the phone and walked us out of the store, closing the door on us to make sure that we made it out of his store. There were absolutely NO signs on the dressing rooms saying that we needed to ask for assistance to use them. This worker was on his phone the ENTIRE time. How did he expect any of us to speak to him and ask for anything. I am completely 100% disappointed with the treatment i received today. His harsh words and lack of respect ruined our night. I guess the joke is on him though because he lost 8 paying customers tonight. Brace yourself for large amounts of disrespect while entering this store!! Just visited the store today , my friends and I were previous customers at this store but, we will never be returning due to our horrible experience this evening . The old man at the counter was on his phone when we came in , we weren't welcomed in but instead ignored. The whole time we were browsing this old man was on the phone . Some of my friends decided to try on bralettes in the dressing rooms (as they've done a previous time before when we visited the shop and had bought merchandise). Instead this old man rudely comes over to the dressing rooms and starts yelling and harassing my friends " you have to ask to try on merchandise - leave the clothes and leave the store" he repeated this several times . The previous visit here we didn't ask to try on merchandise and the same old man was working there and he didn't give us a hard time. (The dressing rooms were open both times - just a curtain not even a door) he then followed us out the door . Perhaps what was the most surprising was that he actually got off the phone ! If the store wants to continue being successful especially since its target audience seems to be young adults then the "management" needs to start respecting customers especially of that demographic.
