Dr. Drew decided that my son would need to undergo the procedure under general anesthesia, and an anesthesiologist would be brought in. We returned for a second appointment, during which they were able to perform the exam. We do need to follow up with an oral surgeon, which I expected, as I heard the same information from his previous dentist. Additionally, my cousin is a pediatric dentist and knows Dr. Drew, as she works in Highland Park. I am planning to switch my general dentist to Dr. Drew.

I got a deep cleaning and had a couple of fillings (clearly I eat too many sweets...but I'm still not stopping). They did my right side first and then the left so I wouldn't be all numb and chew off my cheek or something crazy. I had no pain during or after which is always a huge plus. I really like that they have two offices, I typically go to the one farther from my home, but in an emergency I could always go to the other office...or if it worked better with my schedule. The girls at the desk are very friendly, easy to talk to. I also think it's a plus that it's two sisters working together - at my cleaning my regular dentist stepped away and her sister took over so that we wouldn't waste time. Two for one! Cool with me.

Over the following month, I chipped the new bonding twice and needed it re-done each time. Dr. Yoo was very understanding and went out of her way to help find the cause for the repeated chipping. She worked with me to help ensure my bite wasn't putting too much pressure on the composite resin to continue to chip it. Since then, my bonding has been perfect, and I haven't had any issues.
