Last year I decided to do something great for myself, because i was starting to feel really old…read morewhen i looked in the mirror... i will be 50 this September and my days of baking myself into that perfect shade of golden brown have come to haunt me now in my more mature years...my skin was feeling so shallow, in fact, it looked translucent to me , the circles under my eyes were pretty dark as well... I hated looking into the mirror .. And then....the Universe dropped this incredible coincidence into my lap...i was receiving PRP shots in my knee and learned it could be used to regenerate collagen in the face. When i heard this, and learned that the procedure used only my own plasma, I was definitely interested. After speaking with Dr. Hatz, I was definitely even more interested. Her warm, calm and studious manner appealed to me immediately, so I said, " Let's do it!" And i couldn't be happier with my results! I had 3 procedures. In each, she uses a micro needle that goes a certain deepness, each time a little more, to create channels for the plasma to be massaged into. I have had one tattoo and i would say it hurts much less. Marilyn is very gentle and makes sure you can tolerate the micro needling. And, once you see how damn good you will look, you will say the minor amount of discomfort was WELL worth it! I didn't really start to see the results until a month to 2 in .. one thing that was FANTASTIC was how my skin shone... basically your face gets buffed of all the dead skin so you just glow.... I couldn't quit stealing glances of myself in the mirror!! I felt young and pretty again! The wrinkles around my eyea near vanished...the lines around my smile all but gone, the texture of my skin was definitely thicker feeling as supple and firm as the collagen grew thicker and thicker. Every day i looked more forward tp the next..and my knee , i might add, also got better...before I couldnt even climb the stsirs,, now i can do most anything on it! Dr. Drew decided that my son would need to undergo the procedure under general anesthesia, and an anesthesiologist would be brought in. We returned for a second appointment, during which they were able to perform the exam. We do need to follow up with an oral surgeon, which I expected, as I heard the same information from his previous dentist. Additionally, my cousin is a pediatric dentist and knows Dr. Drew, as she works in Highland Park. I am planning to switch my general dentist to Dr. Drew.

I got a deep cleaning and had a couple of fillings (clearly I eat too many sweets...but I'm still not stopping). They did my right side first and then the left so I wouldn't be all numb and chew off my cheek or something crazy. I had no pain during or after which is always a huge plus. I really like that they have two offices, I typically go to the one farther from my home, but in an emergency I could always go to the other office...or if it worked better with my schedule. The girls at the desk are very friendly, easy to talk to. I also think it's a plus that it's two sisters working together - at my cleaning my regular dentist stepped away and her sister took over so that we wouldn't waste time. Two for one! Cool with me.

I absolutely love Dr. Lee…read more I'm a veteran and now a military spouse and I've seen my fair share of dentists. Since becoming a military spouse and a mother, wanting to settle down with a physician or dentist is not an option - moves are inevitable. It's always disappointing to leave one that I've established a relationship with and put all of my trust in (and told all of my business to!) When we relocated to the Chicago area and started searching for a dentist close to our home, I honestly chose Dr. Lee based on her web presence. A website can tell a lot. Doesn't necessarily mean that the web impression is the correct one, but I went with it. She also accepted Tricare dental so I figured lets giver her a shot. I was behind on dental care and needed to get back on track. After my first visit and consultation, I was sold. THE OFFICE The office is located in a strip plaza in a moderately populated area of Glenview. It's off of a busy street, however I have not had an issue getting to it or parking. The plaza has its own parking lot which is shared with a few other local businesses. THE WAITING AREA AND FRONT OFFICE STAFF Walking in, the waiting area is comfortable and immaculately clean. Fresh and inviting could sum it up with beautiful music piping in to boot. Bright and cheerful. The front office staff was always personable, proficient, courteous, and quick. My questions were always answered and concerns discussed and if I ever needed to reschedule, they were very accommodating. I never had to wait for very long. Quite often, I'd get there early anyway. They always called to remind me of my appointments, which was helpful. DR. LEE & Co. Dr. Lee, to say the least, was amazing. She was very personable. She had a sense of humor and talked with me to try to get to know me, but through all of that she was still about her business. Personally, when it comes to health professionals, I want to feel that they care about me personally, but when they spend too much time joking around, it makes me a little leery about them. Dr. Lee was very genuine, but she quickly got to the matter at hand without making me feel like "just another patient". I definitely felt I was in good hands. Her staff was very knowledge and helpful and I also felt like I was in good hands with them. I appreciated that Dr. Lee would listen to my concerns, not speak to me as though she was superior. I also liked getting my pat on the back when she would say that I had been doing a great job with my home care because to me that meant she was paying attention/taking good notes from one visit to the next and could see where something that could be cared for a little more closely was showing improvement. I did run into some issues with two teeth that were causing me grief. She thoroughly explained my treatment options. Did you read that right - options! She gave me options. Her care and treatment were painless. I felt like I had been educated on some things and was informed of future issues that may arise and what I could potentially be facing. Sigh...I'm all the way on the other side of the country now and I feel the total opposite with my current dentist than I did with Dr. Lee and it is because of her impeccable care that I called her to discuss some of my concerns. I wasn't sure if she'd return my call, but she did and I'm forever grateful. She spent a considerable amount of time reviewing my notes from when she had seen/treated me and listened to some of the concerns that I was having now. She recalled things that I didn't think she'd even remember. I want to trust my current dentist, but have a hard time seeing through the fog of non-dental related chatter, inefficient office staff, poor scheduling habits, non-response, etc.... That's neither here nor there. I digress. Dr. Lee set me straight about some of the things I had an issue with regarding a recent diagnosis/treatment suggestion and even tried to help me find someone to give me a second opinion. She really went above and beyond. If I could fly back to Dr. Lee, I would. She is among the two highly regarded dentists that I've seen during our military travels (the other being in Norfolk) and I'd go back to her in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her to anyone in the NW Chicago area, especially the military families residing in Glenview. I do not think you'd be disappointed.
