A standard bitewing X-ray didn't provide adequate imaging to diagnose the cause of the infection that was present. I was quickly scheduled at this office, and seen within just a few days of being referred. Dr. Rosenbaum was very attentive and focused throughout my exam, and clearly explained what the cone beam scan indicated. (The tooth was cracked and needed to be extracted. He also offered his opinion that there was no need for an expensive implant to replace the tooth - which I really appreciated.) I received a referral to an oral surgeon, and as it turned out, I could be seen by that practice within 24 hours due to a cancellation. North Shore provided same-day turnaround in getting me a copy of my scan, and helped me to coordinate this with the oral surgeon's office. Bravo! I am very appreciative of the professionalism and efficiency of this team, and have no hesitation in recommending them.

I felt the initial recommendation was premature. This was decided after only one month of a half treatment and they used a temporarily filling which degrades in one month which is not even enough time to regenerate bone growth. That temporary filling caused me to do the root canal all over again because it got contaminated. They are good for standard root canals but not specially difficult cases.

But now they are saying I have to come back again for an assessment and x rays(more $$$$$) and then they can finally schedule the cleaning after that visit. Except they're booked through July currently. So here we go again. Expensive but good place for cosmetics. Horrible place for regular care. Youre better off developing a relationship with a more traditional dentist practice that can actually see its clients.
