He and his staff are very aware of each patient's personal needs, and he understands that not everyone loves to have sharp and potentially painful objects inserted in their mouths. I must say that in my experience, he has been very aware of my sensitivities and gingerly performs his duties as painlessly as possible. As far as I can tell, his work on my teeth has always been professional and skillful. His dental hygienists, receptionist, and other staffers are very affable and caring, too. Each of them somehow knows a lot about me and my family members. One issue that is a bit of a challenge is that his fees are a bit higher than most of the other dentists in the area. Our dental insurance policy often denies 100% coverage because his fees are more than what they consider "reasonable and customary." In addition, he does not appear to be affiliated with any dental HMO or affinity group discount program. Nevertheless, we have decided to stay with his practice and accept the extra cost of this highly skilled dentist.

When I try to schedule a cleaning they are booked 4 months out. So it didnt happen. Today I called to schedule a cleaning again because the last time I saw them I was told to schedule it. But now they are saying I have to come back again for an assessment and x rays(more $$$$$) and then they can finally schedule the cleaning after that visit. Except they're booked through July currently. So here we go again. Expensive but good place for cosmetics. Horrible place for regular care. Youre better off developing a relationship with a more traditional dentist practice that can actually see its clients.

Dr. Drew decided that my son would need to undergo the procedure under general anesthesia, and an anesthesiologist would be brought in. We returned for a second appointment, during which they were able to perform the exam. We do need to follow up with an oral surgeon, which I expected, as I heard the same information from his previous dentist. Additionally, my cousin is a pediatric dentist and knows Dr. Drew, as she works in Highland Park. I am planning to switch my general dentist to Dr. Drew.

Dr. Roiter is friendly, personable and had no issue letting my young daughter hang in the office. I absolutely would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a great dentist, he is friendly, explained what the issue was and made my day with his ability to take me last minute on a Saturday! Each step was explained thoroughly, with plenty of time for questions. Dr DeGroot followed up with me after each procedure, and made sure I was healing with no complications. From the first meet she really acknowledged what I was going through and even text me personally after my visit. I felt like she went beyond her scope to make me feel comfortable and supported by telling me exactly what was going on with my teeth and recommended me what to do. She is very detailed which is what I was looking for especially in the dental world. I just saw her again yesterday for a regular cleaning and I have never had such an amazing dental cleaning like my teeth look so nice and I was so happy with them. I didn't need any special treatment and just came here for routine cleaning and exam as my other dentist and I haven't been working out. The dentist was very thorough telling me about my overall dental health and areas that could be problems in the future but she said that we should just wait and evaluate on each item as she didn't want me to pay for anything that turns out to be unnecessary. I was shocked. I haven't ever been to a dental office where the dentist didn't try to upsell me on something that I wasn't sure I needed. Furthermore, the dental office is very clean and modern which is important to me. I am almost looking forward to coming back in 3 months for another cleaning.
