It's a really nice place, not far off Philips. Inside is lovely, open kitchen and high ceilings We had a very nice waitress and service was excellent. Food was good as well. We ordered the meatball appetizer and the meat charcuterie board. For our mains we had the squid ink pasta and the eggplant parmigiana Food was amazing. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Only issue was their vent hood had stopped working so the restaurant was full of smoke. They made the decision to stop cooking meat or anything grilled so we're not able to try any of that. The smoke was too much for my wife, she couldn't eat and didn't enjoy her food very much after a while. Service was great, our waitress was so nice, very attentive and friendly. Had a nice chat about Music, really saved the experience. Was not their fault, things happen, and they stopped but my wife is sensitive and it was too late. Would definitely come back and try again!

When I went with a reservation we didn't get seated for 30 minutes. We then also didn't get our appetizer until an hour after being seated. This place is BUSY! Despite the long wait I will say that it is totally worth the wait. There was not 1 dish that we had that wasn't a hit at our table. Cocktail: NIENTE NOCI was the perfect holiday in a cup drink. Appetizer: The FIGURA E BURRATA CROSTINI was a great option for everyone and then we shared a pizza, because we just had to try it! We had the BERETTA pizza which had 3 different types of meat and would highly recommend trying. Entree: I had the TAGLIATELLE AL BURRO which had a some spicy flavor to it that I really enjoyed. My husband got the short rib which was also very good. Dessert: We had the special of the night which was the TORTA DI NATALE. It did say it had raspberry but I didn't taste any of that. Either way, it was a delicious way to end the meal.

Definitely worth the price tag! My friend and I were craving Italian so we decided to give Maribella a try. We noticed it was fine dining and were ready to see if it stood up to its hype. Upon arriving, we were asked if we had a reservation-- we did. The restaurant has an Italian rustic yet modern style to it. We were promptly seated and assigned a friendly server. We had previously already has cocktails, so we were only there for food and that's what we ordered. I ordered the Nero pasta which is a squid ink pasta, drenched in a creamy lemon-garlic sauce, topped with seared scallions and some cherry tomatoes. The whole dish came together and wow, it was delicious. I believe this has been the best pasta dish I've ever had, well worth the $40 price tag on this. I had left overs for the next day and it was still just as good. My friend ordered the risotto de mare, seafood risotto and her dish was also delicious and was absolutely satisfied. We left Maribella satisfied and hoping to come back!

The food is great. The service, I would call to see what their time looks like. Their restaurant times says open till x time but will close their kitchen early. So just make sure you're going at a good time if you want to get late night food.

Vino anybody?

We started with some vino and calamari fritti which was awesome. Next was the Margherita pizza as well as the meat specialty made pizza for appetizers. For dinner, I ordered the Vietllo thin pounded, hand-breaded, and pan-fried veal, topped with lemon caper butter sauce and grilled lemon...DELICIOUS! I passed on dessert but several in my party did try several and loved them. I hope we have another team meeting so I can try another meal of theirs.

We visited on two separate occasions. On the first visit, we had the gnocchi e vongole, Figura e burrata crostini, bisteca di maiale, and risotto di mare, and a chocolate panna cotta. On the second visit, we had the calamari fritti. the caprese salad, the cesare salad, the braciola with pomme fritte, and the cioppino along with a tiramisu, and a bongo. First Visit: Gnocchi e Vongole: The Gnocchi e Vongole were a delicate dance of pillowy gnocchi and tender clams, bathed in a light, flavorful white wine sauce. The dish showcased a commendable balance of textures and a nuanced seafood essence. Figura e Burrata Crostini: The Figura e Burrata Crostini demonstrated an inspired combination of sweet figs and creamy burrata atop perfectly toasted bread. The interplay of flavors was delightful, making it a standout appetizer that left a lasting impression. Bistecca di Maiale: The Bistecca di Maiale, a pork steak, was expertly cooked to perfection, maintaining a juicy interior and a caramelized exterior. The accompanying sides complemented the dish, offering a satisfying blend of savory elements. Risotto di Mare: The Risotto di Mare showcased the chef's skill in crafting a seafood-infused risotto. The rice was cooked to a creamy consistency, and the medley of seafood added a rich depth of flavor, making it a noteworthy entrée. However, I disliked having to de-shell all of the seafood and would have preferred to have been asked if I wanted to have them without the shells. Chocolate Panna Cotta: The Chocolate Panna Cotta concluded the meal on a sweet note. The velvety texture and intense chocolate flavor made it a delightful conclusion to the dining experience. I liked it, but it was a bit too sweet for me. Second Visit: Calamari Fritti: The Calamari Fritti presented a crispy exterior and tender interior, served with a zesty dipping sauce. While a classic choice, it lacked the wow factor found in some standout renditions of this popular appetizer. The main problem was that some of the calamari had been overcooked and were rather like rubber bands to eat. It would have been much more of a standout if not for that, as the dipping sauce was delicious. Caprese Salad: The Caprese Salad, a simple yet beloved dish, showcased fresh ingredients that harmonized well. The combination of ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil created a refreshing and light start to the meal. I truly enjoyed it. Cesare Salad: The Cesare Salad was a classic rendition of the Caesar, with crisp romaine lettuce, tangy dressing, and savory croutons. While satisfying, it didn't particularly stand out compared to other offerings. Braciola with Pomme Fritte: The Braciola, which in the rendition was a New York Strip slathered in garlic butter, was a hearty and flavorful choice. The patate fritte (fries) provided a crispy accompaniment, adding a satisfying crunch to the dish. Cioppino: The Cioppino, a seafood stew, was a medley of flavors from the ocean, showcasing a variety of seafood in a robust tomato-based broth. My dear husband found it rather sparse and would have liked some more shallots in the stew. Tiramisu and Bongo: The Tiramisu was a delightful conclusion to the meal, with layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and creamy mascarpone. The Bongo was basically a collection of creme puffs layered with a semisweet chocolate sauce. I wasn't able to finish it as it was much too sweet, but my husband loved the Tiramisu. I also wasn't a fan of the presentation of the Bongo. It looked somewhat messy. The selection of desserts was rather heavy and sweet, and a few lighter desserts such as a sorbet or fruit tart would be welcome. Overall, Maribella's diverse menu and attention to detail in crafting flavorful dishes offer a mixed experience. While some dishes shine with creativity and expertise, others fall into the realm of expected but not exceptional. With continued refinement and consistency, Maribella's has the potential to elevate its standing among Sioux Falls' culinary offerings. Service: Maribella's prides itself on providing a commendable level of service, characterized by a knowledgeable and friendly waitstaff that contributes positively to the overall dining experience. Ambiance: Maribella's effortlessly combines elegance with playful charm, creating an ambiance that is both sophisticated and inviting. The infusion of fun features, such as the red Vespa in the lobby, adds a touch of whimsy to the overall setting. As Maribella's continues to refine its culinary offerings, the well-crafted ambiance sets the stage for a dining experience that is not only pleasing to the palate but also to the senses as a whole.

Highly recommend. Service was great, food was even better. Was cool how the kitchen was open to the guests.

I want to love this place. Beautiful ambiance and excellent service. The pizzas are dry and subpar. I did however love my risotto dish, yet a $5 up charge to remove item and add just one more shrimp was ridiculous. Sioux Falls has become a great foodie city and this is one to try...but will never be a favorite.

First off they seem to train the staff to be thoughtful and attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant. The food was very good. Nice patio looking at the museum. You can also enjoy the jazz music next door.

Yummy scallops

In June, at a group dinner at Maribella, we had wonderful food and attentive service. My scallops were delicious! Our only complaint was the noise. We had trouble having good conversation because we couldn't hear each other.

The food was exceptional, and the service was warm, friendly, and very professional. The setting is nice, but it gets to be a bit noisy.

Went on Friday night, 11/3/18, and an acoustic duo (guitar guy, vocalist girl) were performing. Now, supporting local talent is cool and both of them had a reasonable singing voice but EACH AND EVERY SONG sounded the same. A shrilly, high pitched, vocal rendition of modern tunes that after awhile, grated on your nerves. It really ruined the evening there and I was begging and praying for them to go on break for 45 minutes. I probably will go back and try it once more but I hope mgmt really takes a good hard look at who they hire as 'entertainment'.

Hubs and I needed some "we" time during our family vacation this year, and stumbled upon the Paramount for some pre-dinner drinks. Big time loved the classed-up interior, waaay comfortable seating, and fireplace. The bartender was great: attentive and capable of making a good, strong martini. Bliss! All patrons seemed satisfied, and 'twas a quiet crowd during happy hour--which suited us perfectly. Can't speak to the food, but this place definitely specializes in clear liquids. I'd recommend planning out your grub situation and leaving a clean slate for Paramount to do what it does best.
