The vibe is super cool, cozy seating, great ambience, dim lighting that feels like a hidden gem. I sat on the comfy couch and ordered sushi from OKA, which was honestly better than ever. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The cocktails were delicious too; strong, creative, and exactly what I wanted for a chill night out. I was having a great time, enjoying my meal and drinks, when disaster struck right at the end. I had literally just finished eating when a huge roach crawled right by my feet on the couch area. It was massive and absolutely disgusting. I jumped out of my seat so fast, thankfully I was done with my food, or I probably would've lost it completely. I didn't scream (which is a miracle because I definitely would have at home), but it was such a gross turn-off. I get that this is Lake Worth and Florida has its bugs, but come on, a roach that big in a dining establishment? That's not okay. You really need to step up the pest control. Also, the bathrooms could use some serious help. They're outdated and feel neglected, definitely in need of an update or renovation to match the rest of the cool vibe. Overall, the sushi shines, the drinks are spot-on, and the atmosphere is fun... but that roach ruined the ending for me, and the bathrooms don't help. Fix those things, and this place could be amazing. Hoping it was just a one-off bad night!

The bartender, Britt, has such a great attitude and makes even better cocktails :) They have a rotating drink menu so there's always something fun and fresh/unique to try. They also recently opened a pop up sushi shop in the back which I have yet to try, but the menu looks delightful! Every room in this place is a different theme and very cool.

We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Steak Tartare, served with beer-battered smoked onion petals, truffle, egg yolk, and manchego. It was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Za'atar Roasted Local Vegetables with spicy greens, feta tzatziki, lime pickles, and pepitas. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Or if you want, they have a great bar and you can hang out there and have a bite.

We made our reservations for 4:30, thinking it was too early, we are glad we did that. It was small inside, has an open bar, and the ambiance and decor were nice. The kitchen is small so the waiter asked if we could put our full order in at once so in case they get busy, our order won't take super long. My wife and I agreed on sharing a Porterhouse steak but unfortunately, they ran out the night before. The Waiter told us their daily meat, fish, and starters. We ordered the Empanadas, Me So Crispy, Wedge Salad, 40oz New York Strip (daily meat special), Mac, and Fries. Way too much food for the 2 of us. They brought out a little free snack that's Curried Chicken Salad on a Tortilla chip. Absolutely delicious. Next was the Empanadas and Me So Crispy. The Empanadas with the chimichurri sauce was amazing. The best empanadas we've ever had. I'm not a big seafood fan, but the Spicy Tuna Tartare on the Crispy Rice was spectacular. That was my favorite starter. The Wedge salad came and that was delicious also, the egg was boiled perfectly. The service is amazing. Checking up on us throughout the time. They brought out steak knives from Argentina and we got to choose our weapons. The 40oz New York Strip with sauces, Mac, and fries came out and it was the best cut of meat I've ever had. We ordered it rare to medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. It had a great sear and crust on it, it cut super easily and was super tender. Mac was really good as well, and the fries were perfect. Didn't even need ketchup for them. After we were done, they brought out a free Madeleine and chocolate muffin. They also gave us free Champagne to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered Bread Pudding because why not and it was delicious too. My wife and I have been to quite a few fancy expensive restaurants where even one was 420$ a person. Nicholson Muir has turned to our number 1. We have zero complaints. They exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We will definitely be back. Hopefully they have the Porterhouse in stock

The service is friendly and attentive - the dishes were bused quickly and the silverware was replaced after the first course, which I really appreciate. This is very quaint little restaurant, but I've never felt cramped. The food is great and they've got a large enough menu to have plenty of options without being overwhelming. Can't go wrong here.

Don't sleep on Boynton Beach - cocktail bar vibe, hiding in plain site in a strip mall... this gem is chef inspired and simply amazing. We tried the wood fired asparagus served on toast with a gooey egg and then the pork belly grilled baby bok choy and both had me in the happy chair dance. Although steak definitely makes sense with a wood fire concept, instead we tried the lamb rack served with a mint sauce combo that has you cleaning the plate and local pompano served curry lite with wild mushroom (delish)! If you are a foodie make your way here. This was a spot where one (or is it just me) considers maybe we order everything to try? And we left the fun for another time. I have my eye on their spiced lamb bolognese and another amazing cocktail. The cocktails are mostly milk fat clarified which adds yet another fun twist to a new fav spot! Make a reservation and if you are in the area during the day it is a solid cafe. This is how I found it to begin with! Nom nom nom - enjoy

It's like sitting next to a warming fire. This time we tried the grilled asparagus, the grilled baby bok choy with pork belly and gorgonzola (our favorite), the luncheonette burger with crispy fries, the double cut pork chop with grilled cabbage and pickled mustard seed, and the waygu lamb (I know, a lot of food!). Everything was fantastic but the burger initially came out a bit undercooked (we ordered it medium) so they cooked it a bit more and quickly brought it back. I thought the lamb wagyu was a bit light on the meat, the pork chop was amble and laid out nicely on the plate. We also tried the watermelon tequila drink (very refreshing and not too sweet), an old fashioned, and they have a good list of wines. We love the big cube in cocktails. I don't know how they got them to be so clear. The bar tender was great and the cooks were working very hard. The owner always comes by to say hello and chat. Second Rodeo varies the menu.
