Awesome Mexican food joint with locations in Florence and Myrtle Beach. Always a must visit when in Myrtle or traveling south on I -95. This review is for Myrtle Beach. Tucked away just north of town before you really the outlets. The menu is fabulous- with a lunch menu available everyday before 3 pm. The menu is packed with great options. My favorites are the enchiladas and Burritos but everything I have tried is yummy good! They have a full bar so grab a cold one or a margarita! Prices are super reasonable. The service is always great! The staff is helpful and friendly making you feel comfortable. Chips and salsa are complimentary- but look out the spicy salsa is super hot ! I think they use Serrano peppers in it. I typically mix the mild with the hot to make a medium. The interior is colorful and typical ambiance of a Mexican cantina ! Parking is tight so don't bring a F350 - hahaha One of my beach favorites - give this place a try if you're craving some Tex Mex ! read more

Came in here during the off season on a weeknight, it was fairly busy, but we were seated right away. We were drawn in by the margarita special. I was pleasantly surprised by the bright and fun decor on the inside of the restaurant. Service was great, attentive and speedy. We enjoyed our chips and salsa. The house margarita was delicious too. Food was pretty much standard Mexican restaurant food, a bit better than average. I'd give it 4.25 stars overall and I'd definitely return again on my next vacation! read more

Great food. The hot salsa is on point. We got chiles verde and fajita nachos and both were delicious. The only issue we had was after the food came out, our server vanished. THIS is your place if you find yourself craving Mexican food in Myrtle Beach. Great margaritas, food and you are immersed in Mexican fiesta! I enjoyed a margarona (upside down coronarita in a lime margarita), which is my usual drink in Mexican restaurant. They have happy hour for standard lime margaritas Mon-Fri from 5-7 (maybe starts at 4pm, I can't remember for sure). CHIPS AND SALASA are key to good Mexican restaurant and Margarita's doesn't disappoint. Crispy thin chips. They provided two salsas, once that is super bland, almost pure tomato sauce, and one that is really spicy hot. We found the best salsa is to mix the two together in your bowl for your own preference of hotness. This is brilliant strategy as each person enjoys the spice level they want! The BEEF CHIMICHAMGA was among the best I have enjoyed. Beef was steak (not ground beef) and tender. Covered in queso cheese. The smashed avocado and sour cream are served on side, but you MUST mix some in with each bite as this makes the dish! The plate came with two chimichangas that were smaller than I expected, but it was perfect size as I was stuffed and could barely finish the plate. read more

Quaint restaurant with amazing food! After a long day of shopping and skipping lunch, I was quickly getting to the hangry state. The outside of the restaurant was underwhelming but there was plenty of parking and no wait. Since I love Mexican cuisine, we went for it. Warm chips and two salsas (mild and hot) were promptly delivered, devoured, and refilled. We also ordered queso and fresh guacamole. The menu had many options and everyone found something to enjoy. I ordered the Chicken Fajita Taco Salad without the shell and received a beautiful heaping plate of yumminess which I devoured before I even thought about a picture (again, I was hangry). The only down side was that the floor was a bit of a slippery walk to the restroom due to humidity. But the rest was fantastic and we left with our full compliments to the kitchen and our full bellies for the ride home. read more

One of my favorite hidden gems in N Myrtle! Amazing quality food with good portion sizes. I also order a margarita when I come here and they have yummy frozen ones also. They can be flavored and it's not too overpowering like some can be. The food comes out pretty quick which i appreciate. I can warm you can be busy at certain times but their takeout is also just as good as being inside the restaurant. It's a good size restaurant so you can bring a large party or sit at the bar with a date! I will never come to Myrtle and not stop by here. read more

This was our first time to visit Margarita's. We ate lunch and I ordered the chili verde, and it was amazing, both in portion size and flavor; the chips and salsa are delicious too. So if you crave authentic Mexican, Magarita's is the place for you. I can't believe it's not on Yelp's Top Ten Mexican in Myrtle Beach. I've eaten at most the Top Ten Mexican in MyrtleBeach, and Margarita's out does them all, IMO. The service was excellent, a friendly staff. We live about 1/2 mile from Margaritas and eat there once a week for 7 years. We have always received excellent service and the prices are much lower than the other Mexican restaurants and the food is better. If you want good service and great food at a very reasonable price them Margaritas is the place to go. Also a very friendly staff with exceptional service. read more

I never been to a Mexican place where the queso tasted burned. We had to return all of our food because we had queso on the food too. Not only that, the margaritas tasted like straight simple syrup. They remade the margaritas but still tasted terrible. The manager never came over either after seeing all of our stuff going back. It was very disappointing to say the least. read more

My husband got the fish tacos which were delicious, I chose a favorite of mine, Chile Colorado and was very disappointed. Got some tough beef fajita meat laying on some red sauce. The meat most definitely had not met the red sauce prior to hitting my plate. Traditional Chile Colorado is cooked in a spicy Chile sauce. This was not spicy, nor cooked in the sauce. This place was absolutely awful. The food was disgusting. The chips were so hard and tasted so stale. A friend of ours ordered the chicken chimichangas and when he took a bite a whole chicken bone was inside his chimichanga. I ordered the combination #5 and it was absolutely disgusting. The sauce on top of them wasn't and didn't look appetizing. The cheese tasted sour. We also ordered queso and it didn't taste right. The service was okay. The food was awful. I wish I never put this food on my stomach. I would put 0 stars if I could. read more
