As I walked into the restaurant the hostess did not acknowledge us and walked pass us two times and then she came back and still did not greet us. She said you can follow her. We'll damn!!! We were seated near the bar area. The waitress was nice and the food and drinks were delicious. The hostess did not give us eye contact and acted as if she did not give a damn. This was February 7, 2025 around 7 pm. The restaurant needs a better greeter upon the arrival of your guest entering your establishment. Update 3/10/2025 I really love this restaurant but unfortunately came to update my review to 1star. Normally I enjoy a sit down meal here but as it's rainy I decided to call in to order. I called at 2:54pm. When a man answered I asked if this was the Bowman location to make sure before placing my order, I believe he was having trouble understanding my question and asked me to hold. After he sat the phone down I could hear another man in the back telling him repeatedly "I am not taking a to go order". That man then comes to the phone & sounding agitated says "HELLO?" I respond by asking "are you all not taking to orders" being that I'd just overheard the conversation prior to him finally coming to the phone. He responds by saying "who is this" like what? A possible customer. I tell him that I was calling to place an order but overheard him saying he wasn't taking an order. He then puts the phone down without responding and I hear him tell the original man to take my order. The original man says he'll take my order but at this point my husband who is also listening to the call tells me we aren't eating here anymore. So i let the man on the phone know and hang up. The food was O.K. I ordered a Margarita and the waiter asked me if I wanted a small or large l had no ldea the large was super Large when I said a large he didn't want to tell me anything about the size in fact he acted like l was putting him out for being there ! It was a terrible decision for me to go there the worst service I have seen in awhile!! The taco was OK but the that's all l tried to get our waiter attention a couple of times as he walked past our table he would not even look at us at all! 8/8/23 - party of 1 - 8:30pm I do not understand how this place has bad reviews. I was almost hesitant to try it but with the nasty rainstorm and it's location across from my hotel, I went for it. I'm so glad I did! I sat at a tall table in the bar area. The bar had a lot of bar stools and really big TV's. My server Selvin was top-notch! He was always smiling and checked on my frequently without being annoying. Let's talk about the salsa & chips! This was the best salsa I've had in many years, maybe the best ever! It had lots of cilantro, onion, jalapeños and the perfect seasonings. Just a little kick but not enough to set your mouth on fire. The chips were very thin and crispy, not a greasy one in the bunch. I love those light, crispy chips! I had the steak fajita quesadilla, served with black beans and rice for $13.05. The quesadilla was loaded with perfectly cooked steak, green peppers, onions, tomatoes and a little cheese. The tortilla was cooked just right so that the cheese was thoroughly melted and mingled among the meat and veggies. Black beans were flavorful and the rice was just right. I had a sangrita- frozen sangria swirled with frozen margarita. This 20 oz of deliciousness packed a punch! A great drink for $9.30. Bathrooms were clean, hostess staff was friendly. Had some time to swing by a previous place I enjoyed. Margaritas Mexican off I-75 exit 172 in Macon. Once again this joint did not disappoint. Friendly and quick service with excellent chips and salsa. Tried something new today off their lunch menu. It's called the Burrito Tapatio. I choose steak and it was extremely tasty. It was served with beans, rice, sour cream, lettuce, Pico de Gallo and guacamole. If you enjoy Mexican flare you have to give this little gem a try. read more

We had driven all day and just checked into a hotel across the street so this place was very convenient. But when I got out of our car we were almost assaulted by some 80's rock music. I hoped it would be a bit toned down inside. It was -a little bit -but not much. At 6:45 the place was pretty busy but we were seated at a booth immediately and our Margaritas came out very quickly. They were pretty terrible. The house mix was a bit bitter and the alcohol level was noticeably lacking. Still we soldiered on. I ordered the steak Fajitas ($18.00) and my wife got the Margarita Salad ($15). Her fairly large taco bowel shell was filled with chicken and cooked vegetables which she proclaimed as pretty good. My hot platter was filled with lots of fairly tender good flavored steak strips, however there were few onions or any mushrooms. The salad, rice, & beans plate was kind of short on lettuce, and sour cream. Guacamole was extra at $2.75 for a minuscule dollop which might have barely filled a shot glass and I had to remind the waiter twice to bring the flour tortillas I'd specifically ordered. So all in all we filled our bellies for $56 + tip and got to listen to some AC/DC, Kid Rock, and Aerosmith at conversation overriding volume and got out of there ASAP. read more

I ordered from margaritas on last night drove less than 3 minutes away opened my car door and all of my food fell out of the bag. I called the store they told me to bring the order back they would replace it. So I picked everything that I could off of the ground and took it back to the store. I was informed by staff and management that it happens all the time and not to worry (because of the paper bags). I waited about 15 to 20 minutes for my food. So she gave me smaller bags with little cardboard pieces on the bottom and said you should be fine. I drive home 3 minutes away and sure enough all of the food fell out of the bags but this time on me. Steaming Hot Food on my lap and was angry at this point. I called again so Rosa informed me that she's not replacing my order unless I pay for another 2 meals. So I drive back 3 minutes away and my food is already ready for me in a plastic bag. She told me I had to pay because that wasn't their fault. The male manager told me it was unfair also but he didn't have a say. 1st off don't use the their pickup window. Unless you like waiting incredibly long times to see people not pick up their food. With only 2 cars in the line when I arrived I waited 15 minutes to see 1st get food, after an additional 25 minutes the 2nd car was still sitting at the NOT pickup window. After that I gave up parked and walked inside. I know stupid me for waiting that long. Black beans were straight from a can. Tacos ordered with lettuce and cheese had neither. Rice was meh at best. If I could get this place zero stars I absolutely would. The manager Yinny was extremely unprofessional during my family's visit. I do not recall the name of our waiter but she was absolutely lovely. Made sure to leave her a better tip for her troubles. The food was bland and basically toxic waste, I rarely leave reviews so this means this was actually slop. I ordered the shrimp burrito and expected a classic burrito... shrimp, beans, rice, etc. They literally gave me 3 pieces of undercooked shrimp rolled up in a stale and hard tortilla. I have never seen anything like it. I try not to be a bother when eating out so I went to try the rice and beans to just get by on that but that was equally awful in taste and quality. I has maybe taken 2 teeny tiny bites off of the plate when I called over the manager to send my plate back, which is something I have never had to do before. She told me that wouldn't be happening as she claimed I had already eaten half of the meal. As if. I couldn't even stomach more than the tester bites I had. If you are a vegetarian, STAY AWAY! I ordered veggie fajitas, only half way through my meal I found a piece of steak in my veggies! Well, if your offer vegetarian options, please make sure those veggies are not soaked in meat grease and no pieces of meat are on the plate. To make the matters worse, I was only offered 10%discount and NO APOLOGY! Not from waiter, not from manager - nobody apologized for the mistake!
