Update 3/10/2025 I really love this restaurant but…read moreunfortunately came to update my review to 1star. Normally I enjoy a sit down meal here but as it's rainy I decided to call in to order. I called at 2:54pm. When a man answered I asked if this was the Bowman location to make sure before placing my order, I believe he was having trouble understanding my question and asked me to hold. After he sat the phone down I could hear another man in the back telling him repeatedly "I am not taking a to go order". That man then comes to the phone & sounding agitated says "HELLO?" I respond by asking "are you all not taking to orders" being that I'd just overheard the conversation prior to him finally coming to the phone. He responds by saying "who is this" like what? A possible customer. I tell him that I was calling to place an order but overheard him saying he wasn't taking an order. He then puts the phone down without responding and I hear him tell the original man to take my order. The original man says he'll take my order but at this point my husband who is also listening to the call tells me we aren't eating here anymore. So i let the man on the phone know and hang up. The whole ordeal was odd, rude and disappointing to say the least. Our family really enjoys eating here but will probably not be returning, and definitely never calling again.

There is a sizable bar area, a perfect place to meet up for drinks. Customer service is excellent. Our waitress was amicable and attentive. Chips and salsa were brought to the table shortly after being seated. I love their salsa, kinda spicy like i prefer and the chips are good too. They have a nice drink selection, but my husband and I both went with the Salsas's Margarita, it was made well and we both enjoyed our drinks. My entrée was the veggie fajitas, fresh perfectly grilled veggies which comes with flour tortillas and a side of beans and rice. My meal was delicious, definitely one of the best vegetarian Mexican meals I've had. My husband had the shrimp fajitas which he enjoyed. The picky eater of the group my son had the chicken and shrimp, he ate all his food so that is a sign that he enjoyed it. If you are looking for a nice Mexican restaurant with great customer service look no further. Salsa's is a great spot for both lunch or dinner.

My wife and I decided to eat here for the first time the other day and were not very impressed with…read morethe food. Our server was nice and the service was quick. The ambiance was good and they had plenty of TVs for watching sports. The parking lot is a little tight depending on where some trucks or cars park. We are always excited to try new Mexican restaurants but the food here was ok. We ordered queso for the chips, tried their La Casita Eggrolls, Burritos Tapatios, and the La Casita Steak Ranchera. Every dish came with refried beans and rice. The queso for the chips was pretty good and their chips were good as well. Their salsa was ok as well. The eggrolls were ok and the eggroll rappers were a little chewy. It came with two dipping cups with ranch and guacamole in one and salsa and sour cream in the other. Their ranch was pretty good and saved the dish in my opinion. Now onto the main course meals. I ordered the Burritos Tapatios with grilled chicken and it was ok. The chicken has some sauce on it but it was still bland. The chicken itself was also tough so possibly overcooked. The refried beans were also bland and their rice was dry and crunchy in some spots. My wife ordered the La Casita Steak Ranchera and she thought it was not the best. The meat was covered in their tapatio sauce but it still tasted bland. The meat itself also had this weird funky taste to it as if the meat was not good. The refried beans were also bland and the rice was dry and crunchy in some spots as well. Overall, this place is ok and our experience was alright as well. Going off of our visit, we will not be back to this place and I recommend not coming here.

I'm not sure how it normally is when it's not the holiday season, but it was empty when I visited. We were seated immediately, and the server was attentive. There were some Christmas decorations, but even with it, the restaurant seems dated. For the food, I like that their Al Pastor tacos have pineapples and the salsa verde(?) that comes with tacos is a good addition to give it a more citrusy flavor. It's nice that they give the cilantro and onions on the side, so you can add the amount you enjoy onto your tacos. I also like the chips and salsa they start with too; it's a chunky tomato salsa that has a bit of a kick. Their rice is a bit different than other restaurants (it has carrots and peas or something in it?), but it didn't add much to the taste. The meat is cooked and seasoned p well, and they give a good amount of cheese. Everything is priced higher compared to other places though. I'm not sure if it's better quality, and the portion size is about the same, but the food is good all the same.
