The next doctor confirmed that the issue was related to the injection and diagnosed it as fat necrosis, which she explained is not reversible. I find this blanket exclusion of older adults unacceptable. The clinic's website advertises comprehensive primary care for adults, yet this was my experience when trying to obtain an examination. In my view, this policy deserves investigation by the appropriate medical and civil-rights authorities. Older adults deserve respectful treatment and a clear explanation of any policy used to deny them services. I have been paying taxes in state of California for the last 40 years and probably some of my tax money went to subsidize the institution were she got her degree. Such a huge disappointment.
