The installation on my home was shockingly poor and far below what any customer should expect. The seams of the product don't align, with sloppy overlaps that stand out immediately. The caulking looks rushed and uneven--applied without care or precision. What should have been a clean upgrade has instead turned into an embarrassing eyesore. Thirteen windows and three sliding doors now look substandard and unfinished because of careless workmanship. For the amount of money spent, the results are unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company to think twice. Quality and attention to detail were clearly not a priority in my project.

There is no shortage of work for businesses like Adam's in Calgary and it would be easy for him to be transactionally focused - do whatever it takes to get the business, at any cost, and move on to the next customer. However, that's not what Adam believes. In fact, I've seen him say no to business. "If can't do it right, then we won't do it at all." I think the part about Adam that really stands out is that he's a continuous learner about business and he cares deeply about the social and environmental impact of his company's actions. I've witnessed Adam in peer advisory groups, sharing knowledge and encouraging other business owners to stand for principals and values... profit takes care of itself. RUN from this company go to another one, anyone will be better than these con-men and crooks. Four of the windows cracked and shattered within days of install and we had to wait weeks to get the replacements. Doors don't lock right either. Really poor quality of product and service. These window performed the same as the original windows that froze up every winter with this CRAP. I lived in Regina and had windows replaced in my home there and they out performed this CRAP I have now. Unfortunately the sales person gives you a bunch of BS that this is normal. I don`t think they will honor the warranty and if they did I would NOT WANT ANY OF THE CRAP THEY ARE SELLING. I don`t want to give them any stars.

We had 4 bedroom windows and 1 patio door completed by Ecoline…read more We originally went with this company as they told us that there were no glass delays for them and that everything was made locally. This was in 2021 when this was an issue. This ended up being untrue and everything was delayed. Install was finally completed in Jan 2022. Our patio door was the first issue that I noticed. We could barely open it. It took me over a year and countless visits by their techs to finally say that the door was defective. I stayed home for dozens of these technician appointments, missing work and activities/family time, and no one would take notes or submit paper work and it was ALWAYS me following up with the company for anything to be done. Their trim work is also done so poorly, it splits within weeks to months after install. They told me if I wanted it done nicely that I would have to pay extra. They also use a copious amount of caulk to fill in any gaps on the exterior. There was also damage to our walls and new flooring during the install. We had other windows done by another company as we were fed up with Ecoline. We had zero issues with any of these new windows from the other company. I am now dealing with our replacement patio door. It is bowed and now leaking cold air into the house. I have reached out to them Jan 20th and Jan 24th both with no response. I know this of course is going to be a painful process to get anything rectified and know that they will try and do nothing. They offered me the first time only 5% off any new windows for the headache. My question is, why would I ever want another subpar window poorly installed by them again. Lastly, they demand payment upfront and before any work starts. They will just stand there until they are paid. The employees told us, this is because the company will make the workers pay the company if a client does not pay. Highly unethical. A client should be able to pay once the work is done and you are satisfied, not before. There is no hold back in case poor work is done. I have lost countless work days, time with my family and energy with this company for them to rectify their issues. They are unwilling to make anything right. Stay away from this company. There are so many other great companies out there that deserve your hard earned money. Ecoline is not one of them.

Everything old was taken away, floors inside and out around the project area swept up and vacuumed, all loose ends taken away and some. Doorbell and door handle installed! Perfect!!! Overall my experience with Lux windows has only led to stress and a damaged home. I was mistaken…read morewhen I thought going with a big, "trusted" name would mean I would have less issues with the job. The product might be good but the installers make me regret going with Lux. Make sure you take pictures of your house and lay down cloth/tarp to project your house, or else you'll be in for another project or two. The workers clearly didn't care about my home when they did they job, wiping silicone and foam on my walls and appliances. Broken drywall - While doing the job the workers bumped into a wall causing a red mark on the wall and dented drywall. They also pulled out the drywall around the window causing a roughly two foot long crack in the drywall along a stem and paint along with two tears in the drywall elsewhere. Complete disregard for my home No drop cloths - Wearing shoes indoors and dragging garbage bins and other tools caused scratches in the floor Significant delays - Initial payment was May 9, 2024, job was complete July 25th 77 days later. I did ask for the job to be shifted a day later so between the payment and original scheduled date was 76 days. Sloppy work - The workers wiped their hands after handling spray foam and silicone on my appliances and painted walls meaning this has to be scrapped off. They tore off the silicone around the junction box for my internet and tv cables while moving a water barrel for the job. Finally, while the door handles are the original from the previous door, the door handles are difficult enough to open that my mom, a senior, thought they were locked when she came to visit. I've been told that I can break off a security tab to fix this but it seems like a pretty lousy fix after spending thousands of dollars on a door. The locks are Weiser brand locks.
