It took her a long time to come back out to tell us that the muscles were in a sealed bag in the refrigerator. Who knows how long in the refrigerator? My friend got food poisoning from it. Kept throwing up and slept for the rest of the day. Still felt woozy the next morning. We called the restaurant and the gal took our name and number down and said the manager will call us. The restaurant has such a great vibe with a full bar, outdoor patio, amazing service, and a private room in the back where they occasionally host wine tasting dinners with full five-course meals, which we absolutely love attending. The owner, Donia, is one of the kindest and happiest people and always makes us feel so welcome. The chef is also such a great guy and incredibly talented. You can tell how much they genuinely care about the restaurant and everyone who comes through the door. And the food is seriously outstanding. We've tried so much of the menu and honestly have never had a bad dish. Even the bread they bring out is amazing! The arancini and meatballs are some of my favorites in town, the salads and pastas are incredible, and the pizzas are always so good, especially the Sud Italia with hot honey. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here. I highly recommend making the trip, and if you can, come during happy hour from 4-6 PM for some great small dishes and drinks. The cool weather was lovely after a long heat wave we've been having and we enjoyed our coffee and pastry. It was pretty empty either due to the weather or because it was so new. It's such a lovely little spot. I have also eaten here in the main restaurant several times over the years for luncheons and dinners and have enjoyed my meals. I look forward to returning.
