The food is always good and consistent. I've been eating from here since I was a kid. And I'm 30 lol.

We got seated pretty quickly, the ambiance is simple and neat nothing too fancy. We ordered a 6 count garlic knots for the table and that was absolutely yum! Husband ordered a chicken Parm sandwich, a friend ordered the Manicotti but subbed the marinara to a vodka sauce, another ordered the Chicken Parm Pasta, while I ordered the Alla Vodka pizza. The food was okay-ish, nothing great tbh, we have had better chicken parm sandwiches and pizza. The Garlic Knot bread for the Chicken Parm sandwich sounded fancy but it disintegrated pretty quickly. The Pizza was spicier than I expected, it wasn't half bad but it was not much rave about. Friends found their pastas decent-ish. Maybe it was us or the day we went, I usually do not dismiss off restaurants in one experience, unless it was a really bad experience. So maybe I'll give Cavoli's another chance.

I opted for the parmesan boneless chicken wings and Ida's Garden pizza. The wings were a let down for my personal taste. They tasted like chicken nuggets. I know, I know, I got boneless so what did I expect but I've gotten boneless wings in other places that didn't have that taste. The pizza, on the other hand, was great. Just enough sauce, lovely toppings, chef's kiss really. It's definitely on the expensive side for a 12" but it's not a chain so I expected that. Overall I'm definitely coming back!

I don't frequent Danny boys very often because of the price point. As a man from New Jersey, I have…read morea particular fund for certain styles of Pizza that you can't really find here in Ohio. Danny Boi tries to come close with a New York style pizza and they do a very good job of it. But the price point is higher than I'm normally comfortable paying for a pizza of its size. That being said, I prefer Danny boys well over Angelo's in Lakewood. Now this is not in anyway, taking away from the quality of the food. The garlic bread or nuts or whatever they were were fantastic. The Asian buffalo garlic wings that my eldest and I shared were amazing. The hunk of garlic saturated with the Asian buffalo sauce was just perfect. Our waitress was extremely friendly, answered any questions we had, and did her best to accommodate me when I asked to have our pepperoni pizza divided into 2/3 and 1/3. I didn't want it priced any differently. I just wanted all of the pepperoni that would've gone into the other third put on the other 2/3 because my one son only likes a certain amount of pepperoni. She didn't think she could do it at first, but she went back checked found out and came back and gave us what we wanted. She was quick with drink refills, and extremely friendly. The only issue I had with this visit, and this is more of a note to the entire staff, is she hung out over my shoulder the entire time while I was doing the payment and tip, which felt very pressuring to me. I genuinely leave a good tip, regardless, more often than not quality and food has nothing to do with your waitress, so why should the waitress suffer for something else. Even less than average service still will often get a decent tip for me because I know that this is their livelihood. But I do not appreciate when the staff hangs directly over my shoulder while I do so instead of giving me a moment, walking away and then coming back. I know that in this case I'm using a device of hers to do the payment, but I still did not really care for that moment. All other things aside, fantastic service, fantastic, waitress, great personality, and I was very friendly towards my kids. The look and feel of the restaurant was awesome. I love the old pictures and the feel of a 1950s or 1960s Italian restaurant with the New York City, Atlantic City, Vegas feel. The pictures of Frank Sinatra and some of the other brat Pack along with memorabilia from different movies of that era just helps to set the mood. As I said, it's not a place that they go to frequently, maybe twice a year, but when I go, the experience is always delightful

What drew us in was this location's Instagram reel featuring their March Pizza of the Month -- the Reuben Pizza. After seeing a performance at Playhouse Square, we decided to make the detour to check it out. We arrived on a Sunday around 3:30 PM, and the restaurant wasn't very busy. We were seated quickly and our server came over shortly after. We ordered drinks (he got a beer and I stuck with water) and looked over the menu, even though we already knew we wanted the Reuben pizza. My boyfriend noticed the Cajun Parmesan fries and asked the server what she thought of them. She was convincing enough, so we decided to order a side. Since we were pretty hungry, we definitely noticed how long it took for the food to come out. In hindsight we probably should have asked for the fries as an appetizer, but they ended up arriving with the pizza. When the food hit the table, my boyfriend and I both looked at the "side" of fries, then at each other, and said the same thing: "That's a side? For $4?" The portion was surprisingly small (28 fries, to be exact), and barely room temperature. It was a little frustrating, but we didn't want to make a big deal out of it, so we just moved on. The pizza itself, though, was exactly what we were hoping for. The dough was excellent, and the locally sourced ingredients paired really well with the Thousand Island sauce served on the side. It was a really good pizza and definitely lived up to the hype that brought us in. The only downside was that the pizza, like the fries, wasn't very hot when it reached our table. I guess it's better than a pizza coming to the table piping hot, but I would have much rather had a hotter pizza and fries than we received. Overall, the pizza was definitely the highlight and we're glad we made the stop to try the Reuben Pizza of the Month. That said, the small, lukewarm fries and the temperature of the food when it arrived took away from the experience a bit. With a few small improvements, this could easily have been a much better visit.
