Just really wanted a piece of pizza today...I know weird lol…read more I went to Kroger to shop and saw this on the corner and was like ok I'm going to get a pizza! Turns out, you can buy just 1 slice. PERFECT! It's pricey pizza but it's a HUGE slice! Like 1 piece fills ya up so $9 was worth it. I just went with plain ole Pepperoni this time (again...it's a craving lol) The crust is super thin, so I felt like by the time I got home, it had absorbed that cardboard taste & feel to it. But, regardless sauce was good, obvi fresh mozzarella and not some powdered shredded blend. The crust was sooooo good! I ended up finishing the two last bites of crust with some honey (trick I picked up from Beau Jo's) I will def go back!

Which is literally ludicrous because you pay for the pizza when you order... What the what? The pizza was not at all like the original Godfather's. It was nowhere near deep dish. It wasn't good overall. The sauce was terrible and even worse the next morning. Not everyone should buy a franchise. Try at your own risk.

However, the biggest issue was the lack of sauce. There just wasn't enough on the pizza, which made it dry and less flavorful than it should have been. I only ate 3 slices of the whole Pizza. The crust was so light and airy, no grease in the pan, packed with flavor in a healthier way. Customer service was great as usual and the pie came out within 5 or 6 minutes after ordering. In the past we would have had to ask for to go boxes. Last night we were able to consume both pies and were full, not overfilled. Right amount of sauce to cheese ratio and plenty of garlic, cheese, and crushed peppers. Can't wait this long to go back, ask for Sam the owner and he was not in. We came to order certain items that were shown on the website and NONE of them were offered anymore. Management needs to get on that. Can ya say that's like false advertising to someone looking for those items and can't get them. We did order something else because we had made the trip out there already. The pizza was good and they should be given credit for that. The spaghetti and meatballs was a hard pass and the garlic bread was hard as a rock. I inquired about the HUGE change of menu and the advertising on the store window and was informed that they no longer are carrying all those things and the young man sincerely apologized for the inconvenience. I wish I was able to say more positive things but until the website is updated and the window advertising changes , I have to stick to this review. If it's pizza ya want, then give this place a try anything else, do your research.
